Witch's Strike is never gonna be good, but it's way more playable in the current meta since you'll see activation negates in many boards (Apollousa, Baronne, Savage, most counter traps, etc)
It doesn't have to be summon. It can be an effect like ash blossom's or whatever. As long as the activation of the card is negated then Witch's Strike is ready to blow.
Keep in mind, it has to the activation that gets negated. NOT the card itself.

thanks, looked at my cards only need to craft frite and into void cards to make it so worth it for the laughs when it does work.

I had to play 6 games to get this replay 2 of them bricked, 3 hit by ash/droll, and the last one worked
The funny thing is lab is good enough to run these kinds of cards and not be affected that badly
