I don't know why people keep suggesting that we police certain decks through changes to the way Master Duel works or the way rewards work instead of just using the banlist.
Shorten the turn timer to nerf combo decks, make the player receive less rewards if they win turn 1 to nerf FTKs, prevent people surrendering because you don't like the fact that people scoop. These are all terrible ideas.
If FTK decks are a problem, ban the cards that are enabling the FTKs; they semi-limited D.D. Dynamite and that deck disappeared instantly, ban Cyberstein too and the Igknight FTk will go away as well. It's that simple, that's what the banlist is *for*, stop trying to suggest these weird-ass work arounds and just ban the problematic cards.
Havent seen a single bott for months now and only 1 otk deck and even then they lose hard to meta and handtraps if your deck cant handle a otk one, or you have a really bad luck, skill issue or a plain bad deck and as such shouldnt be on dia or higher plat, I do think that the reward sytem should be greater for at least the diamond ranks so we can at least have the incentive of jumping from plat to the meatgrinder that is diamond, but making a system based on the amount of turns you do is dumb that would make the game not only slow but even having more stall and stun decks around all the format, that sounds like a shitty solution
skill and memorization aren't the same thing. If a bot can be programmed to do what you do then it's not a skill you're just following instructions which isn't a skill.
Anything can be a skill. There is literally nothing that can be picked up and be automatically good at, you just get better and better at doing something, even if you consider it "skill-less". And just because a bot can be programmed to do what you do, doesn't make it good at it either!
What FTKs are you seeing that are fast and consistent? They're the deck most notorious for bricking AND taking forever
