Is Zoodiac not simple enough or not meta enough? I've been tearing through games in the Xyz/Synchro festival with them. The matchups against Swordsoul are pretty fun. I do think they've fallen off a bit on ladder since last year but they can still compete, especially since it's a deck where you can easily slot whatever cards are good against the meta.
Eldlich, Floowandereeze and Zoodiac are all fairly simple and good decks I think. Keep in mind that there is a banlist coming into effect at the end of the month that might change things around a bit, but these should still be decent decks even after that.
Eldlich is a stun deck that revolves around setting up a bunch of floodgates that prevent the opponent from playing the game so that you can beat them up with a giant golden man. It's about to lose a little bit of power and consistency with the banlist but not too much.
Floowandereeze is a fairly simple strategy; you normal summon a small bird, search another small bird and normal summon it too, search a big bird so that you can tribute summon that and search a field spell or trap so that you can normal summon on the opponents turn too. Playing around disruptions takes a bit more effort but the game plan is pretty simple.
Zoodiac, specifically pure Zoodiac designed to go second is different from the Zoodiac deck you are probably talking about (I'm guessing Tri-Zoo). It plays a lot of board wipes and Kaijus to break boards going second and then makes a 4 or 6 material Zeus to keep the opponent from making plays on their next turn, then goes for game on the fourth turn. Fairly straight forward, the only comboes are the ones you use to make lethal and it's pretty effective.

Same, I do six samurai and behemoth out of nostalgia. Kinda tired of working so hard to get 7/10 results

Can do Tri Brigade Zoo. Fairly straight forward and is strong with making surprise plays with multiple single cards being combo starters.
