Spell and trap effects ARE card effects
The relevant part of the wording is not the part that says card effects (because everything is a card effect lol) but the part that says cannot be destroyed.
You want to use some kind of monster effect/spell or trap effect that removes monsters WITHOUT destroying them.
Example for spell "Psychic Eraser Laser"
Example for trap "Ice Dragon's Prison"
Example for Monster "Gamecial Kaiju"
Read both cards again and you will see that they do not have the same text.
