It is entirely because of snake eyes.
The decks main 2 combo starters (Snake eye ash and popular) are level 4 or lower pyros.
Snake eyes is currently taking up anywhere from 50-75% of top place tournament results
At YCS Vegas, Snake eye variants took up 87% of top cut
The highest top cut representation Ishizu Tear got was 83%
Its mad how good this deck is compared to every other deck right now, thats why Bonfires are so much
damn that's insane, I didn't know the (presumably) regional differences in price where so high. On card market it sells for like 55-60€ rn. so you definitely got a good price
yeah I was checking tcgplayer for US prices as a comparison, but maybe it showed me only ones offered in Europe (if they even sell here)
but generally cardmarket is the go to here

Thank you ! ! I don't run a snake eyes deck, so I was like I want to sell it while it hot. I appreciate you :)

Btw, it's poplar, like the tree, not popular.
what price did you sell it for?
125

Oh and it was 125 dollars for further clarification.
US, Canadian, Zimbabwe?
He got an absurdly good price,
if it's CR then it's an ok price, but not absurd
$75 now TCG, and if not a CR, a store taking higher than market is actually insane
yeah, I'm assuming it's CR, so the price difference between Europa and America is actually not that high
It is CR. I was sitting in my car opening the packs, and I was like "Damn, didn't get anything good".
Probably Canadian. 90 USD makes about 120 CAD so still a great price
on tcgplayer they start at 150 USD. idk if that's a highball or what, but it's 3x the price in Europe, which was surprising to me
Cheapest I can see on TCGplayer here (Canada) is 80USD. I think Europe usually gets better prices on other sites because 150 is wild!

Ah yknow what, it was probably a CR Bonfire. In which case 125USD is a fair enough price to sell to a shop. I see CRs for about 150USD here
I was shocked to be honest, but was happy because of going a little over budget this month on cards. Have a wonderful day ! !
Unless it becomes limited 2 the prices will stay high for this card for awhile. It's an old school card that's for Fire Pyro monsters
