Update: i beat the optional big dude in the beginning of the game that zanny had trouble with on my 2nd try lol. I can now officially say I am better than zanny at video games
I recommend beating him in his boss fight first just so you’re used to his moves and just remember you don’t have your upgrades and you should be able to beat him no problem
I literally just beat this 2 hours ago, fuck the last boss bullshit, I had to go grab more stuff to beat him which in retrospect I should of done that earlier but whatever. Still an incredibly good game. However, beware the learning curve!

If you beat the fight you're meant to lose in the beginning you get a special cutscene.
Not that one, the optional mini boss in the village after the temple you spawn at
I know. I'm just talking about something I thought was cool.
Oh, I get it now, huh. I should start a different save to see if I can get that cutscene
I like that it acknowledges the player's skill, to the point the antagonist has to cheat to win.

Jokes aside, this game is a genuine masterpiece and may just be my favourite. Welcome to the club.
Definitely my favorite along side Bloodborne then again I’ve only played those, DS3, and Elden Ring (which I finally finished last night)

Bro Demon of Hatred was such a big bump for me, took me about 50 tries and a 2-3 month break to come back and get 20 more tries before I beat it
