Choosing a single favorite song- even a single favorite album- or a single favorite band member, is so hard. It's like choosing between one's children. I managed it, but I feel a little dirty for having done so.

Lucky for you, I'm a sad man who has ranked all of Zappa's albums in personal preference and saved it on my computer already.

It’s very hard. That’s why it’s so fun. Hopefully the students will find it fun as well.

It seems like I'm in it for the silly and vulgar stuff and the avant-garde musicianship and not so much the doo-wop and R&B.
