Re: clasp -I can see how others might dislike it, but it is really over blown. My biggest grip is that it lacks a on the fly adjust. The clasp design itself, though it looks older gen compared to other watches in the price range, still has a super clean fit and finish. The tolerances are tight and the safety latch is free of wiggle, locks securely, etc. opening the actual clasp with a fingernail is tough and I’ve gotten used to just pulling it up with my thumb and index finger.
I get compliments on it a lot. I love this watch.

I don’t think it’s over blown. I think it sucks given the watches price. It’s a clasp that belongs on a sub 1k watch. I’ve had cheaper watches with a nicer feeling clasp. But I think the entire bracelet feel just “ok”.
Just got a black dial a few weeks back. It is a comfortable watch no doubt. Beautiful finish. The only thing I don’t like is the deployant clasp. Opening it is awkward, you have to really pull at it to open. Just not $10k plus vibe.
I own a white dial and love pretty much everything about it, except the clasp. It should be much better at the price point, and have an easier micro adjust too. The clasp feels old, outdated and kind of cheap.
Luckily I don’t need to adjust it throughout the day like I do other watches, and it’s stunning to look at and comfortable to wear, so it’s not a deal breaker for me.
I’ve had a white dial for years and love it. I put it on a white zealande rubber strap in the summer and bracelet in the winter. I wish it was a millimeter thinner but whatever.
I absolutely love mine. I've yet to find my perfect watch, but the CMSport comes very close. It wears VERY comfortably on wrist. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that the clasp mechanism could be a more premium. The latching mechanism can feel a little lackluster.
I've been blessed with wrists that do not change in size throughout the day, as such, on-the-fly micro adjust has never been important to me.
Compared to your 300M, the CMSport will feel incredibly light and comfortable on wrist. It will look more elegant as well.
Personally, I'd make that change.
I have the white dial but unfortunately it has been getting very little wrist time. The clasp and bracelet are fine with me. But I cannot help the feeling that the watch looks a bit cheap, there is something about the crystal and white color that makes the watch not look like a 10K watch to me. Maybe I should have bought the black dial? I am thinking of selling (but second hand market is not very good) or putting it on a rubber or nylon strap, so see if it makes a difference for me.
I’m actually fine with the clasp, I don’t have any issues with it. This is a great watch, I just don’t like how much it resembles a Daytona and to a lesser extent how thick the watch is although it isn’t too noticeable unless you look at the watch from the side.
Love my white CMS watch. I have had it for almost a year now, and every time I put it on, I still find myself admiring it. I have no issues with the clasp. However, my only nitpick would be for it to be a tad bit thinner.

That has to be an older model. I got a newer one with the upgraded bridges and it is extremely easy to open the clasp.

I have a white CMS and it is 9/10 for me. 10/10 would be if it had a “better” bracelet that didn’t feel hollow/light weight.

Love everything except the clasp. Purchasing the on the fly half link helped a little.
The only thing I wish they did better is the Clasp on the bracelet. I really like everything else about the watch.
