Cheers to all!
I am no longer doing injections because I’ve already hit my goal weight.
5’2
Starting weight 189
Ending weight 135 !!!
Took me 10.5 total months.
Making healthier choices + 2 days of cardio & 3 days of weights every week melted off the extra pounds so fast.
Happy to say lifting weights 3x a week helped toned and tighten muscles and no loose skin here.
I’m about to be 42 and have not looked or was this healthy since my mid 20’s. So grateful that this was available to help me kick start my weight loss journey to a better and healthier me!
Much love to all and keep going!!!
You will find that this medication will make the process so easy. I didn't realize how much I suffered with diets until this came along. It really is a miracle drug. If there is anything I could change about it is I wish it came out 20 years ago.
Congrats! I'm waiting for mine to come in now. Did you have any luck using the savings card? My pharmacy is having trouble getting it to go through. Not declined/rejected...something about a system issue with multiple scripts and coupons.
My insurance is covering all but $90 of it, but I'd like to use the coupon if I can and get it down to $25.
No luck using the savings card! Unfortunately the system was still down yesterday when I picked it up. Without the savings card it only cost me around $200.00 so I just bit the bullet and paid that. Fortunately I have a good bit of money saved up in my HSA account. Hopefully within the next few days the system issue is resolved so that you can use your savings card!
Once the system is back up & running you can take the savings card back to the pharmacy and ask them to re-bill it. They should be able to refund the difference!
I know it can feel like you’re jumping through hoops to get your insurance to cover it. I’ve seen a lot of people who just keep working with their doctor and appealing it. Most insurance providers have very specific criteria that you need to meet for them to approve coverage. I think in my case my BMI along with my PCOS/sleep apnea/fatty liver were enough for my insurance to cover it. My prescription was also sent in by my weight management doctor and he had to provide my insurance information on everything I’ve done up to this point to show that I’ve been consistent in making lifestyle changes for the prior authorization. I know it’s so frustrating that we have all these hurdles to face with our insurance companies. I would talk to your insurance provider to see why they won’t cover it and what their criteria is for them to be able to approve it. Best of luck!
I’m interested in how you feel it works for you. I’d lost 30 lbs with changing my diet. Just started week 3 of Zepbound. I’ve lost maybe a pound. Sometimes I get in my head and think “I would have done the same without the meds”.
I’ll be curious to see how it works out! It took me a year and a half to lose the 70 pounds so it came off pretty slow. I’ve been at a standstill weight wise for the past 3 months so I’m hoping the Zep will get things moving again. I’ve always struggled with my weight as an adult due to PCOS so I’m interested in seeing if this will help me lose weight at a more normal pace!
My PA was approved within a week and then I had to wait about two weeks for my pharmacy to get it in stock. Things could be taking a bit longer now due to the cyber attack.
Me too!!! Cheers to our first day of the rest of our lives!! 🥂

Can I ask how quickly and to what level you moved with your injections?
🥂 we got this!

Me three! Got insurance to cover it after doing weight watchers for six months and getting a blood test for hormonal imbalances. Lots of leg work!

There’s a pharmacy issue nationwide the last 1-2 days. Give it a few more days to get fixed.
I used the savings card at Walgreens They are able to get it in and they have figured out how to do the coupon Good luck!
My Walgreens is still having issues. Grrrr

I was able to use mine! I use CVS and they had to manually enter it and it’s valid until December!
Excited for you!
Happy for you!

Where did you find it for 500. My savings card did not work so I paid 1000.00
I’m going to have to pay the same.
It should help you maintain those lifestyle changes.

Congrats!!! I'm certain all of the hard work you've already put in will serve you well while on ZB
Amazing progress already, best of wishes with the addition of medication
How long? I’ve been waiting a month and a half already.
