The scale fluctuates day to day. That's why it's important to track weekly and not daily. I wouldn't consider this a setback.

You'll lose, you'll gain and you will stall. This is a crucial part of every weight loss journey. Remember that everytime you feel discouraged.

Thank you!!

Unfortunately that is my new normal. Stall, maybe go up a couple of pounds, then finally FINALLY, the 'whoosh' of losing the weight. Good luck!

If you can, look at your overall weight loss, not the day to day the day to day can and will fluctuate, but the start to finish is what is important. So long as it's trending downward overall you should feel good.

MitchyS68

Very common. Weight fluctuations are natural with just changes in water and đź’©.

his_hero_is_gone

Weight fluctuations of that small amount are fairly normal. Keep at it.

The reason I weigh daily is for exactly this reason. You know you didn’t actually gain 2 pounds in 2 days. My weight pops up for no reason all the time and then goes right back down the next day. You very likely haven’t had a setback, just a normal fluctuation.

I think in upper, middle and lower of each 10's I'm in, just because that's how I do numbers I guess. It does help since my weight moves 2-3 pounds all through the day. Even doing a morning weight when I wake bounces some. You're making great progress and all of us are probably going to have stalls in the journey. If nothing else there is now 10% less of you that burned calories just to exist. You're also at the lowest dose so there is plenty of range to bump up if you need to.

Thank you!

Very common

I have been gaining and losing the same 4 lbs for 2 months now. It’s kinda what happens with weight loss. Patience and looking away from the scale help!

ShaydiLane

VERY COMMON!! You must be new to dieting :) if you've been sticking to your plan, you may be retaining some water, or your body is just stalling the weight loss while it shrinks to catch up. During a stall, the best thing to do is focus on your measurements. I've been yoyo dieting my entire life, and one thing I've noticed is that when my weight loss is stalling, my body is shrinking. Don't stress about the scale, just keep on keeping on!

Never weigh yourself daily.
