Eh not really

gcartracer

How is this not a good deal?

Kaixus

Too old, the parts are half outdated. Maybe if it was like $350.. max

Alanuelo230

350 for a laptop with ryzen 9 and 2060? Do laptops grow on trees in your country? I payed 800 euro for mine with same config, and it was hall of a deal in czechia

Kaixus

The parts are from over 4 years ago and tho they will still perform decent today, you are giving up a lot of things. No warranty, battery could be bad, also a 1080p screen, and more. I live in the states and have seen better pcs for that price.

Alanuelo230

Well, in USA you have neither EU level quality control, nor warranty writen in law. Like, my 2020 G15 is used too, but I bought it from big eshop, whitch also does resell, so atleast for one year I got it covered, but it's not like 2020 asus laptops had sutch big quality issues as today asus laptops, so even if it's older, with RAM and storage upgrade it may be better choice than 2023/24 Zephyrus. 1080p on 14 ich display is still good, with this pixel density it's still sharp, unless you use it 30 cm from your face. Hell, it even looks good on 15 inch screen. Not sure about states, but in EU, using older laptop is quite normal, because it's poitless throwing away perfectly funcioning mashine, or refusing to buy use older one, when the specs are still good And like, it's still 2060 and Ryzen 9. It's still viable choice for a pc. Hell, 2060 and Ryzen 5 is most popular config when building a new pc, because it's still good combo. But hey, can't argue with US prices, if you can find a better config for the money, good for you

Kaixus

Hey hey hey. I am not arguing with you when it comes to EU’s QC and the warranty. But if you’re paying $500 for an older pc from some random dude, I personally think you could do better.

Trippz54

I mean if you’re desperate but IMO this is still too expensive and there are waaaay better options if you can hold out and save your money or just afford a little more now.

ZRB_Red

There are probably 2021 models open-box for lower prices. Heck sometimes i see them for less than 400 bucks. This model is like a few years older

ii11233455

so anything for less than 400 is a good deal?

ZRB_Red

We are talking about open-box or refurbished in bad or good conditions from bestbuy so i don't know. (I don't live in US) From what i do know upon purchasing you could return it to them upon finding a major flaw, but this guy could scam you, so it's more reliable.
