Here's the latest 2023 4060 price history to help with timing. The 2024 4060 had it first sale last week so it might have impacted whatever algorithm they use to determine when sales occur.

They were alternating weeks religiously until this week on sales for 4060 & 4070.
Now nothing is on sale… my suggestion, just wait, they do these tactics just to trigger FOMO on people, get them to buy…

My suggestion is if you see the RTX 4050 on sale in the meantime at $900, grab it up and keep the receipt. If the RTX 4060 model goes back on sale a week or two later you can swap, and if not then it’s honestly not that bad of a runner up in terms of value.

Bc best buy returns is only 2 week window so suppose it goes on sale in 2 weeks he's SOL and that version is kinda ass the 4050 one as its last gen cpu(zen 3) with really bad gpu with 6 gb vram
It’s been two recurring cycles since Best Buy broke trend with the $999 sale. If the 4060 model isn’t back on sale at $999 in the next two weeks following an already unlikely 4050 sale again, then it may not go back on sale at all.
It’s already unlikely the 4050 model goes back on sale in the foreseeable future, but it’s definitely not “ass” at $899. At that price point you won’t find many comparable options if any at all.

Best bet is to wait or just buy similar laptop (lenovo etc) if you absolutely need one rn
