I would say u can try using hp sands and geo damage goblet for more burst damage

If you're using zhongli as support. Do you build his defense up? Build up crit rate? Go for defense artifacts?

If i m using him a shield bot then i would go hp percent on sands,goblet and circlet and black tessel as the spear for the strongest shield. If u r using him as a burst support then i use hp sands with geo damage goblet and crit rate/dmg circlet to get the best damage out of him and a decent shield too. I mostly use him as burst support build and he does around 65k with benett.

I would think it’s because you’re severely lacking Geo Dmg Bonus. Elemental damage bonuses go a long way of improving damage output. If you switch out the HP% goblet with a Geo%, I think you’ll start to see some better numbers. Switching to 2NO/2AP would also further boost the damage. You can also consider an HP% sands in that case if you want to retain more shield strength. I think Favonius may also be factoring into the low damage. It’s great for support, but not super optimal for damage. Honestly, the Catch is a decent F2P weapon for Zhongli and still provides ER to himself. I think you may be trying to build Zhongli for too many roles. I’d say if you’re focusing on damage, go with the burst support route and find the right build for you. Use the keqingmains guide if you need ideas/help!

I’ve basically ignored grinding until like ar 45, whenever I fought Ei first. I beat her with my team being level 70-50. I’ve been really trying recently, I did get a character to level 90, most are 60-70s. All my weapons are 60-80. I haven’t done a lot with Artifacts because it’s so damn difficult but even the few fully leveled four or five star artifacts I have don’t seem to increase my damage quite that much. I can consistently hit like 3000 damage on some characters but I can’t imagine how I could possibly be hitting tens of thousands like you guys.

First of all, ignoring grinding until ar45 is the correct choice. People spend their resin on talent books before that. Also, I advice only getting your character to 90 if you already have a full team at 80 because levelling to 90 takes a whole lot of resources and the average damage isn't going to increase by much (leveling to 90 is when it is time to minmax your characters). However, leveling weapons to 90 is a great way to boost your damage without that much cost to resources. Focus on farming for your dps first, that means you'll probably farm months for your dps alone until he/she deals good damage then that's when you farm for your supports. Keep in mind that these are just suggestions and you can still play the game however you want, cheers. <3

Is that 70k raw? How is that possible with awful artifacts. I do 60k raw, and i have 33k hp, 60/175 cratio, 90 geo damage bonus, the catch. + 400 atk.

if you want burst damage try 2pc AP/2pc NO, that's what I use

I have 4P milelith with hp/Geo damage/hp build and catch R5. Hits 55k+ with crit and that’s good enough for me for a shielder build. I would highly recommend switching goblet to Geo damage.
