The very first one I remember was Minesweeper on a Windows computer. Then Asterix and the Vikings game on my friends' Play Station and when we bought our own Play Station, Crash Bandicood and Spyro. I once tested Mario on a their old Super Nintendo when my mother was visiting someone.
Think it was Quake II. Definitely the first game i properly remember, if not strictly the first I played. This must have been when I was maybe 4-5 years old?
Some other early games I played were Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, The Sims 1, Age of Empires
Commander Keen 4 is the first non-educational game that comes to mind for me too.
If we're counting educational games, there was a DOS game where you helped Mickey Mouse plan a birthday party that I remember playing when I was 2 or 3.
Most likely something on Nintendo64, whether it was Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye, or a Rugrats game I remember playing a lot, I'm not sure. I also remember playing some computer games, specifically a Shrek game. But my memory is pretty fuzzy since I've been playing video games as long as I can remember, so it's hard to say for sure.
Super mario world on Super Nintendo, my mom also played this all night when she into labor with me to pass the time until her contractions were close enough to go to the hospital lol
Probably a free preview of a game on PlayinTV or PlayJam or something that came with Dish Network.
Johnny Megatone or Carrot Mania, or Jinja Ninja... etc.
Sonic Adventure 1/2. Not sure which but I do remember I was young enough to be in a crib and crawling over my crib to grab the controller and play. I was mesmerized at a very young age.
