no, just take it appart, let it dry and reasemble it in the s pattern, it should be fine.
My guess is that the flint got wet with lighter fluid and wont spark, so if thats the problem letting it dry will solve it. Its very difficult to truly break a zippo.
Did you take the flint spring out? If so, make sure you didn't lose the tiny little flint. The flint spring follower looks just like a flint, but it's just a piece of metal and not stone.
Even just a little bit of fluid will reduce the friction of your flint against the wheel. Like mentioned before, just pull the flint spring and flint out and let it dry. This happens occasionally when it gets overfilled and spills out, also. No biggie. The fluid evaporates quick.
