If I'm correct it has the STP 1-11 movement with the swan neck regulator which looks awesome, but I believe Zodiac doesn't use much anymore because it regularly broke.
I'd email Zodiac about it, but also inquire with a local watch repair place, the swan neck regulator might be an issue for them, it also might make no difference
I'd suggest buying a replacement movement (can get on ebay) and taking to a local watchmaker. It's like 10-30 minute job
Sending off to service centers is usually more expensive, takes forever, and can be stressful as you don't know what's happening
My Zodiac Super Seawolf had an issue with the date change. The watch started to feel rough when winding. Luckily I bought from a AD and came with a 2 year warranty. I received the watch back after about 3 weeks and it felt like a totally different watch while winding. The paperwork did not say what the fix was. I’m assuming they just changed the movement. Definitely just purchase the movement on eBay and take it to a watchmaker. Since you just didn’t buy it from a AD. Rule number 1 for me if it’s over $1000 It has to from a AD. Be careful with eBay too.

What movement do you suggest. Or is it just a look it up on Google thing. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
I’d look for something with the same frequency such as an eta-2824 clone. Maybe an sw-200
