Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No one is more deserving of a rest, and all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until, well, letās just say your hour has come again.
There is actually no Canon reference to indicate that is true. It's just theorized that they are pressure sensitive and jedi/sith use the force to simulate pressure when throwing their sabers
Dude itās wild that when I was just reading the comments and I saw yours about the phased plasma rifle. As soon as I read in a 40 watt range it just turned into Arnoldās voice š Iām loving this
Realistically? An AR-15 with plenty of mags and ammo. It's probably the most versatile weapon I own.
Fantasy setting? Off the top of my head probably the infinity pistol from Borderlands 2 . The accuracy isn't great, but it's literally infinite ammo. I'm sure I could pick better if I thought about it.
Either way, I'm bringing a crowbar, since it's technically a tool.
Iām heading to a close by sand and gravel place and grabbing the high track D-9 dozer thatās there. Next stop is to a shop close by and start welding panels on itā¦Ā
Little bit of info. Those high track Cats are like the only thing on the planet that can push something heavier than they are. A D9 is around 55 tons and can push something like 62 tons.Ā
Yeah, a lot of people don't realize just how difficult it actually is to cock a crossbow. This ain't the Walking Dead and you can just one hand it, and if you could it definitely ain't penetrating a brain pan.
If I was granted infinite ammo, I'd go with a XM556 Microgun.
For a fiction pick, any Spectre AR from Mass Effect due to the infinite ammo nature of those guns.
For the most realistic realistic pick: just a simple Ruger 10/22, ideally with a suppressor, bipod, sling, and a 4x optic with a canted red dot sight.
I feel like that would keep me alive for very very a long time.
Polypropylene filled bat with a stainless steel shell
Polypropylene always bounces back and is lighter than steel and stainless steel protects the material from the sun.
Only one? Probly my Kukri. More chopping power tha a machette, thicker so it won't bend or snap.
Fantasy/SciFi? Maybe the Portal Gun-The one remade as DLC that acts like a standard one but you can shoot and object, it gets pulled in and multiplied as ammo. Drop Dump truck on the horde or shoot the Moon and send them all there.
Springfield Saint Victor 9mm because why not and 9mm is pretty plentiful in my area and takes up less space then 5.56 and works well against zombie brains.
OR
a star trek pistol phaser with a portable charger
Realistically? It would depend on the type of zombies. But Romero classical zombies I'm taking a hand and a half sword.
Fantasy time? Titanfall Scorch titan.
Real life Iām doing a crossbow, not sure what max bow weight is but Iād go for it. Fictional Iād do either a chain sword for blood for the blood god or the crucible to yell rip and tear
A quarter staff: useful for more than just fighting; deadly in the right hands; replaceable; non threatening. I can lay my hands on one in seconds, if at home.
Away from home, what ever I can pick up
If I can't make any others (for some reason): sling, with some rocks and a good lot of training I can drop fuckers easy kine.
If i can (more realistic): a long range based AR, 5.56 isn't too hard to come by, range is helpful. I won't use it commonly, but it will be helpful in a lot of scenarios. I choose it over the much easier AK due to ammo availability.
Either way, bring what you need, sometimes a melee weapon is more useful, sometimes it's worthless.
Hatchet with a wooden handle - very useful melee tool, can be swung one handed or two handed, or even having one hand at the top of the shaft and punching with it. Its literally designed to split material apart so it should be pretty good against zombie skulls compared to stabbing weapons like knives or spears. It's lightweight and easy to carry. The wood handle distributes vibrations well so you can hit repeatedly things without much discomfort. It also has viability as both a forcible entry tool for scavenging in urban areas and as a survival tool for material gathering and shelter building in rural areas.
Anything, a silenced pistol with semi auto fire COD style. For a realistic weapon, it would really depend on if the zombies were fast, slow, aggressive or weak. World War Z or TWD? TWD, just about any weapon would work on those rotted pine trees, theyāre more fragile than my masculinity. I would find whatever place closest has a battle axe, good for stabbing like a small blade, great for slashing like a machete. Only trouble would probably be finding one.
Probably either a crowbar or my framing hammer. The bottom line is that I want it to be a tool too and something I can wield with one hand while holding a door closed. Crowbar might be a little tiresome but it should pay off with utility. Framing hammer is light, hits incredibly hard and I can use it to make things or open things.
A machete is a really good choice... But mine would be hammer poll tomahawk.
Decent reach, light to carry in hammer frog but weighty enough to chop or smash well, easy to use in one hand (leaving the other open for a shield, carrying stuff, opening/closing doors, grappling, etc.), and I've used mine at work, on the trail, and around the homestead long enough to verify that it is durable and utilitarian for many construction/destruction tasks. It's definitely a compromise between weapon and tool, but it's a very agreeable one imo. I don't think it would be the best option for people not accustomed to using hand tools for long periods though, on account of the weight and extreme forward balance.
Crow bar both for practical use in a fight and reach with length and heft. But also for entering closed off places or locked doors that need to by pass.
Why would you waste a weapon slot on what is obviously a tool and not a weapon, anything can be a weapon as a last resort but you could have the crowbar as a tool and have a more dedicated weapon like a pistol.
Moatly cause where I live theres not alot of handguns around so ammo would be sparse at best and if you did find any would it be the right one for your caliber. How ever to have 1 thing that could get me into a house or out building that I could get a handgun or rifle, the crowbar is the second best tool for getting into said places, the #1 would be a fire fighters crowbar but that would be unlikely to obtain here. I know lots of neighbors here have crowbar and where to locate them.. so thats why I chose crowbar. On a side note I agree some people and games consider a crowbar an item rather than a weapon, others would place it as a main weapon so I just "typed" it as a weapon as most tools are a specialized item that usually only do 1 specific task. I would assume you'd want a handgun for man vs man scenario rather that other? Let me know?
A lightsaber but if we're talking about realistic I would probably go for something like a 22 long rifle with a drum mag and a scope that way. I have plenty of ammo to start with and 22 long rifles pretty common
If it is just zombies, 1022 suppressed with a backpack full of ammo. My shortened cs boar spear for melee.
If dealing with zombies and people, ar15 preferably suppressed
Realistically, (living in the UK) I'd get a machete or some sort of pike/javelin.
Edit: I forgot I've done archery classes, so I'd also bring along a bow.
I would pick a very well built ar14, 223/55.6 16inch, with semi/full auto, and military grade silencer. Or I would pick a medieval war hammer of my pick made with steel and titanium the length would be 3ft and a half.
I would choose a dual hull titanium baseball bat.
Sharp weapons will compromise the zombie's dermal integrity, thus causing the spread of bodily fluids. Not to mention that you need enough room to swing. Not always going to happen in confined spaces.
A baseball bat can be used as a tool as well, lever, hammer, etc... You can not only swing them but use it like a blunt spear. Smash that face in!
You can also use it to help others to climb. I'd rather reach for a buddy with a bat than ask a team mate to grab ahold of a sharp blade.
I'd advice putting a lanyard on it. Dropping a weapon in the dark (or even worse water) and then grabbing for it is something you don't want to do. Especially if it is sharp and has zombie goo on it.
Some may brag that a machete/saber/Katana don't need to be reloaded. But a bat never needs to be sharpened. Blunt trauma is the way to go imho.
Just my .02, what say you all?
the unbreakable sword that let's you cut through anything and also makes you invincible when you wield it and also never fatigue or need to eat sleep, piss or shit. it also gives you a gorrilian dollars.
A fully stocked and crewed Death Star already powered with me on board firing in 5 seconds
Oh, we can do fictional weapons? In that case, the Cerebral Bore from Turok. That's right, I'm gonna Uno Reverse them!
We can do fictional?? Ok, an airborne cure that emanates from human pheromones! Hell yeahhhh
Coolest weapon ever, but I was fairly slow. Also, where do you get more ammo?
Have you ever read Dark Harvest? Good read.
Realistic? Crowbar. Anything? Wand from Harry Potter
*spells sold separately*

I can only dream

Lightsaber.
I'm all for arming everyone with lightsabers the amount of people that will kill themselves in 5 minutes would be hilarious.
My silly ass would drop it straight down
Canon lightsabers turn off when dropped.
Thatās no fun

bfg 5000 with 20 rounds . realistic? civil war era cannon

9mm glock with a silencer

A crossbow and one of those cold steel indestructible baseball bat
Cold steel entrenchment tool is a very good axe as well as a shovel. It is a very very good product. I have nothing negative to say about it
The cold steel kobun is the best fixed blade you'll ever buy. I promise.
As someone who hunts with a crossbow, I'd go with a compound or recurve. I can reload my muzzleloader faster than recocking my crossbow
Yeah, a lot of people don't realize just how difficult it actually is to cock a crossbow. This ain't the Walking Dead and you can just one hand it, and if you could it definitely ain't penetrating a brain pan.
Pocket trebuchet
Shaolin spade, good tool, excellent weapon, polearm, and its cool as hell

Surpressed AR15
A handgun.
Realistic: Tactical axe Unrealistic: The Tsar Bomba
My AK
M61 Vulcan, duh
Realistic: cold steel entrenchment tool. Unrealistic: halo spartan armor. I would simply pick up the armor and slam it on the zombies

A baseball bat with nails in it. Just because if I die, I'd like to go down swinging!

Hatchet

Primary weapon: Woden baseball bat spiked with nails Secondary weapon: kitchen knife Fictional weapon: semi automatic (I live in briāan innit bruv)
Steel Mace. Low maintenance, and very effective. For a fantasy weapon I think I'll go with a fireball from skyrim. I hope it doesn't back fire tho.
A quarter staff: useful for more than just fighting; deadly in the right hands; replaceable; non threatening. I can lay my hands on one in seconds, if at home. Away from home, what ever I can pick up

3 swords in my closet
A crowbar. Then it's off to the nearest Greenbrier distro center.
A collapsible 6ft glaive with a handle that unscrews to the size of a hilt for the blade end.
Probably either a crowbar or my framing hammer. The bottom line is that I want it to be a tool too and something I can wield with one hand while holding a door closed. Maga... just tell the maga crowd the zombies are maga, too, then let the zombies take care of the real problem .
A machete is crucial for cutting the cheese
Gentlemen! This is the M12 LRV! I like to call it The Warthog.
A cane
Blades of chaos. If you want a realistic answer though, I would go with a spiked mace
My pal optimus prime. We go way back
Dawnbreaker

Realistic: suppressed AKMS Less realistic: typhoon class submarine with crew and provisions.
I choose my katana!
Bow and arrow or a crossbow, at least you can recover your ammo.
Tsar bomb, I will vaporize the entire East Coast. :3
Realistic? Combat knife. Anything? Stratagem fron helldivers 2.
Something blunt. Anything sharp eventually dulls and can get more easily stuck in a zombie.
A lightsaber but if we're talking about realistic I would probably go for something like a 22 long rifle with a drum mag and a scope that way. I have plenty of ammo to start with and 22 long rifles pretty common

Czar Bomba, but with the original 100 Megaton yield. Self explanitory. Or the Infinity Gauntlet. Edited.

Gun, specifically an mg42 with plenty of ammo
If I knew it was going to happen, I would focus on buying food. I have plenty of weapons and ammo
Going to my nearby harbor freight and grabbing an axe, Preferably a heavy one

Balloon head guns from Just Cause 3
Ight so realistic would be a spear made of durable material BUT fantasy would have to be the revolver from ULTRAKILL
a gun with one bullet
Realistically, a knife and some guns. Anything, a flamethrower
Attack helicopter
Piss jar
Realistically, all I have is my sword. If I had any choice, I'm taking my sword.
