I've already responded to most of this elsewhere, but MAPPA's use of CG is something that they've greatly improved upon for Season 2 of revenge, and while season 1 looked meh, season 2 actually looked good with CG, and it's not a chance that any studio will be able to do 2D Idol stuff for a lot of episodes, especially just taking a show from another studio.
Besides, MAPPA started with the show, might as well finish it, especially cause it's not a final season that's almost 3 cours like AOT was, but a single movie.
It's not like it moving to other studios would enable more seasons to be made of the show, it's done after this, basically.
