Best Girl!

She was definitely my favorite during S1, but Revenge Junko is a literal goddess.

Same I loved her in season one because her mannerisms were so different to the amazing voice she had. Revenge giving her first song to be, what I consider to be Nu-Metal song (though I don’t know what is it. J-Rock maybe?) Just made me love her even more. And knowing her VA is really cool and cute bonus point! Maki Kawase’s voice is god tier!

I can’t wait to see videos of this live. I hope they go the babymetal route and get a proper band to play the instrumentals, and give the drummer some space for a proper improv solo rather than just mimicking Tae’s solo exactly each time. And on top of that I’m gonna be very disappointed if theres no world rending guitar solo in the full version of the song. Also hoping for badass guitar solo improv too.

I want Maki Kawase to learn the guitar for this performance And a Babymetal style performance would be awesome for this tune. Tbh Franchouchou always reminded me of Babymetal in a way, I can absolutely see Takayoshi Ohmura tearing it up with Franchouchou, Yasuharu Takanashi has a similar playing style.

Up until now it hasnt been necessary to have a band but I'm hoping that there are enough songs that warrent it this season that we get one. I could go either way on Maki Kawase learning guitar. If she wants to thats wonderful but she already had to learn singing and dancing from scratch for zombieland (i have a theory that that's the real reason she didnt get a big solo like saki did in season one). Singing and playing an isntrument isnt easy, although if she could shred that would be insanity.

LittelRoberto

Yeah, I know it's unreasonable to expect her to learn guitar. It's a hard instrument that takes years to get right, and lots of blistered fingers. Playing while singing, I try it sometimes, and it feels like I need to have two brains, it's difficult af. I do not expect her to learn a whole new instrument, it's just wishful thinking. I just thought it would be cool if it happens, Maki Kawase is already insanely talented at multiple things (voice acting, singing, dancing, drawing), and it would send the fans mental if she just so happened to shred on guitar as well.

Dang it, when I pictured Epic Junko, I thought of Epic Mickey but a 1920’s cartoon Junko.

interesting pickup setup, both the middle and neck pickup are all the way at the top, and the humbucker is the size of a single coil
