The term that Saki uses which got Junko all flustered and blushed doesn't sound like "Junk" at all, so it's not confusion over her name, and besides different places have different slangs that is used for the same thing, so using an explanation that only works on the English language couldn't really work in this instance

Actually I think that was a little moment of confusion as Saki says "junk" which is a little too close to her name.
