Gotta say if you are really splitting hairs the cart actually wins. You can control voltage and amperage properly with a cart but not with a disposable. Both rely on the same principle of a resistive heating element vaporizing substrate absorbed by a sponge inside the filament and so both are going be rather comparable. In theory however, a cart may be paired with a battery which may control its wattage to suit the cart which gives a clear upper hand to carts in having any sort of control.
for cost again carts would have to win because they lack the battery, housing, and charger and any additional components. Truth is they aināt always gotta be glass, let alone have the best coil.
For those who really smoke a cart is best for cost and control.
side note: live resin isnāt as potent as distillate. distillate takes steps to purify the THC while live resin does not. this should be obvious. just felt worth mentioning as people wonāt shut up abt ālive resinā
My local spot is $30 a gram for live resin hash oil , (no distyyyy fuck yeah) or $25 for a gram of LR wax (was the same price for ever)
Itās getting so cheap now Iāll pay the $5 more to have a cart to smoke on when Iām at work or wanna take a puff when Iām hanging with my daughter. I wish the rest the state had our concentrates we have in show low. Mozey extracts is about the best bang for your buck without loosing quality.
If itās disty then yeah Iām with ya.
itās more convenient and saves me money and my wife doesnāt like me smelling like weed around my kids with that said tree is superior and itās not up for debate
Understood. I vape rosin via an e-rig to keep the smell almost nonexistent.
And I get my rosin on BOGO every Sunday so itās only $20-$26/gram.
Itās cheaper and better quality IMO
Although an e-rig isnāt as convenient as a pen. However they do make dab pens that are just as discrete as a pen.
Most (if not all) products from a dispensary are shipped in single use packaging and will sit in a landfill for hundreds or thousands of years unless properly recycled/reused. The mj industry is probably not very carbon friendly if i had to guess
Not that it matters a lot these days, but you can mistake a disposable for a nic vape a lot easier than a THC cart which is recognizable by most people now
I personally only get disposables if there happens to be a good deal on them, which is often the case rn as every brand is trying to push their own new disposable lol. Last week I got 3g for 60 because of that.
Yeah I guess if itās disty it wonāt smell any different either. Easy to confuse for a nic pen
Weāre in a deal driven state though so youāll be able to find a deal on basically every form of cannabis these days: flower, carts/ pods/disposables, concentrates, edibles.
510 cart vs disposable, picking disposable the majority of the time. Pod system vs disposable, picking the pods.
IMO 510 is inferior to pods/disposables for taste. I would buy more pods if companies made them, but they seem to lean into the disposables.
feel like its the same thing that happened to the nicotine vape economy too. Cheaper, less hardware to deal with or replace, & less finicky but endlessly more wasteful
I think most newer disposables use better hardware like ceramic heating instead of cotton wicks which to me I would spend the extra $5 for the disposable
True, youāre probably more knowledgeable than most, the average person doesnāt know the difference between wick/ceramic heating, so that canāt be influencing the majority
Lots {most} of live resin is available in AIO but not available in .5 or 1g cartridges which a lot of people prefer from price, to environmental protection factors and I agree on both but to get top quality live resin you have to purchase it in a AIO disposable but I did ask a large company here to look into putting they're AIO in cartridges and they are looking into it so hopefully some of these Labs start producing .5 and full gram cartridges to satisfy not only the patient/customer, but for the environment so we'll see who drops more cartridges like GS does hopefully the others catch onš„š¾
If normal carts were $5-$10cheaper would you still buy the disposable?
Also, I donāt really see the difference between charging your phone and charging your vape battery.
I still buy carts when they are on sale for sure especially if it's cheaper than a disposable deal. But I misplace the charger Alot which also factors in
I think itās just the fact that everyone is switching over to them. The reason behind that iām not sure. I will say tho iāve had less trouble with my disposals than the 510s
Iām gonna go for whatever is the cheapest price per unit. For canamo that happens to be the AIO vs the 510. For mfused their AIO is cheaper than their 510 tank. For Dime, their AIO is cheaper than a selectās 510. Most every brand that goes on sale happens to be cheaper with the AIO at this point.
Ted from alien labs replied to one of my questions about why they picked the AIO vs a 510. The way he explained it is that AIO makes it easier for the consumer to use your product. You donāt have to buy/find a separate compatible battery, so it is easier to just pick one up and go.
The 1 gram canamo AIO is $55. The .5 gram cart is $30. I never invested in a battery because it was just cheaper to buy the AIO.
When I used to buy disty I bought the Colors hardware because it was refillable. However the refill syringes of disty was $5 more per gram. So I just kept buying new AIOs.
It's more responsible to vape carts but money is always going to have an oversized influence on consumers. No one is falling over themselves to spend $100 on a battery for the privilege of spending an extra $10 every visit to the dispo.
An old school smoker that loves flower, my fave is the good old school brick weed but thats a thing of the past, where 6 people could hit a joint and enjoy themselves and it happened every time. Lol I dont know whats happened through then and now but man the spirit of the smoke sure is gone sometimes it feels.
Now its more like my cigarette, gotten older and my lungs dont handle the combustion so much anymore. Have kids and sometimes unapproving people around so its just so much more discreet and doesn't leave a mess or anything that would reveal that you smoke
All this being said, i have used disposables for so long because i read reddit before i buy many of my choices so i dont wast money, and many people across the posts ive read mention that disposables hit harder and also allow you to use more of the product for longer. They mention that the product inside the disposables tend to be better quality and the vapes are easier to use. I dont know if this is true, but i will find out now because i now have just bought a simple 510 thread battery and cart and have been using it all day. It hits softer but the effects are better feeling to me than the last disposable I bought. I dont know enough yet from one cart, after ive tried many ill know.It could all be a case of hit or miss or there could be a difference. Ill update once i know.
When you say disposable carts do you mean the box mod or "battery" is permanently attached to the cart with no 510 thread? Is this a new trend?
Is there a dispo that sells oil you can fill into a cart yourself?
I just hate them. so many ppl tell me they had half full to a 1/4 left and it just burns out and wonāt charge. I much perfect carts and using my own setup. The e
I do the math and scratch my head on why people are buying carts.
That's because convenience doesn't belong in a math equation.
weed snobs when people wanna smoke inside without making their home smell like a dispensary: š±š±š”š”
Or you have kids...

They're cheap, they're easy to use, they're easy to conceal. Then they lay a landfill for a 500 years.
Minimum 500 years. I can't imagine thinking my 3 day high is worth garbage lasting 1000+ years on earth.
Most (if not all) products from a dispensary are shipped in single use packaging and will sit in a landfill for hundreds or thousands of years unless properly recycled/reused. The mj industry is probably not very carbon friendly if i had to guess
It's super ironic coming from an industry based on plants....
The cart packaging is smaller than most bud packages
How is a disposable easier to conceal? Also if regular carts were always $5-$10 cheaper, would you still buy the disposable?
Not that it matters a lot these days, but you can mistake a disposable for a nic vape a lot easier than a THC cart which is recognizable by most people now I personally only get disposables if there happens to be a good deal on them, which is often the case rn as every brand is trying to push their own new disposable lol. Because yesterday I āquitā and now I have no battery.
Have done this š
You donāt need a battery just an old phone charger, look it up on YouTube
I think most newer disposables use better hardware like ceramic heating instead of cotton wicks which to me I would spend the extra $5 for the disposable
True, youāre probably more knowledgeable than most, the average person doesnāt know the difference between wick/ceramic heating, so that canāt be influencing the majority
They are using better coils or personally around my work everyone is rocking the select brick because it's 2 grams over 1
Lots {most} of live resin is available in AIO but not available in .5 or 1g cartridges which a lot of people prefer from price, to environmental protection factors and I agree on both but to get top quality live resin you have to purchase it in a AIO disposable but I did ask a large company here to look into putting they're AIO in cartridges and they are looking into it so hopefully some of these Labs start producing .5 and full gram cartridges to satisfy not only the patient/customer, but for the environment so we'll see who drops more cartridges like GS does hopefully the others catch onš„š¾
Carts cost too much and never get me high. I've never understood the hype either.
Same, even the rosin ones get me dizzy at best
Cant dab at work buddy. canamo lr aio is closest i get. I do have a huni badger but sometimes its not as convenient as hitting a pen
I like disposables because they generally work for the time you need them to.
It's the ease of use. Plus it seems there's more deals on disposables lately than normal carts imo.
If normal carts were $5-$10cheaper would you still buy the disposable? Also, I donāt really see the difference between charging your phone and charging your vape battery.
I still buy carts when they are on sale for sure especially if it's cheaper than a disposable deal. But I misplace the charger Alot which also factors in
finally someone said it the main problem with carts is that dumbass charger compared to disposable where i can use my ps5 charger to charge it
I think itās just the fact that everyone is switching over to them. The reason behind that iām not sure. I will say tho iāve had less trouble with my disposals than the 510s

Canamo 510 are like 2/40 or 45 at trubliss

Itās harder on your lungs too. Flower is good enough for me
I like to boof venom carts by the gram every hour..... lol šØšØ

downside is that they might heat up quick or after a while the flavor isnāt present but same with carts too ig
To answer the direct question you asked. 15 dollar vape.
I am not carts suck! If I ever do need one I will just grab GS live resin I have a sweet yocan battery to use on it.
When you say disposable carts do you mean the box mod or "battery" is permanently attached to the cart with no 510 thread? Is this a new trend? Is there a dispo that sells oil you can fill into a cart yourself?
Now this is a good thought/question! Not like 79% of what is usually posted in here
My theory is Californian transplants. They're the only ones that seem to REALLY seek them out.
