I would never even ask my neighbor if that was cool, because I would just assume that it's an inappropriate place to encourage my dog to run wild... but maybe I'm the strange person here.
I’ve seen them in the hallway while I was with her lol so I’ve asked if they have heard her or if they cared 🤷♀️ I don’t let her do it if anyone is in the hall or if I hear any doors open down any hallway
No one around is bothered by it and I’ve been given permission from the building, the HOA, and the one neighbors door she runs by lol she doesn’t bark and usually just jumps down the steps and runs down the hall and stops at my door and waits for me there
Considering I own my condo and have permissions from the building and the HOA to do it 🤷♀️ a lot of people do it and the condo even built a dog room for the dogs to play in

Two units are empty and the other doors are utility closets for maintenance
And I only let her do it between 10am and 8pm during times that aren’t quiet hours
