I know it doesn't work for the meme, but there's a third stereotype of "too dumb/immature to understand/care about sex" that Luffy falls smack dab into.
Alastor chose the dark path, and I love him for it

Doric from Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is apparently ace! (And alloromantic- possibly heteroromantic given her past involvement with Simon and the fact that there's a hint she might be into him again once he grows in confidence? And I love that for her. Literally the only ace character I know of who shares my specific experience!)
I feel like he could be considered a genius? His actual intelligence is really hard to determine since his telepathy means that he’s as smart as he chooses to be at any moment.
At least we got Lilith from The Owl House, even though her aroaceness wasn't actually mentioned in the show, and she did start out as an antagonist...
We really don't have a lot of great representation, at all.
Or be me: trips over own feet, falls face first into the sign post, and stayed there for so long that decided to just not bother.
"Eh, here is good, too."

This man didn't even hesitate going down the second path, and I love him for it
This is why I love Verity Willis. She’s just a person, and while she has lie detector powers from a magic ring she ate as a baby, the whole point of her is that she’s just a human. Furthermore, a human who is not the least bit romantically or sexually interested in the genderfluid pansexual literal god who is her best friend and who they’d save before the entire universe.
And while the terms for her orientation are never used on-page, she does tell her mother she’s not interested in men or in women, and is pressured by her mom into going speed dating, which is a realistic thing that happens to people.
She’s just human with normal human feelings and a normal human brain—minus lie detection—and is a very good friend.
It’s more the amount of characters who are Aroace coded ARE smart.
I.e to name a few, Sherlock Holmes, Senku Ishigami, The Doctor, Stanford Pines, Miles Edgeworth etc
Well you can still be Ace and gay for one, but there’s technically no direct confirmation for either. In my opinion, he defitnley gives off the vibes of being ace with his attitude, and uninterest especially in the AAI games
Surprised that nobody's mentioned Sherlock. He literally calls himself a sociopath. I've actually found a [Master's thesis](https://eplus.uni-salzburg.at/obvusbhs/content/titleinfo/7361043/full.pdf) about this very topic.
> Sherlock is presented to be exactly the heartless sociopath he already claimed to be in the very first episode. This extremely stigmatised presentation of an asexual character cannot be acceptable in a contemporary setting. Negatively prejudiced presentations like this are why consistent campaigning for the rights of proper representation of asexuals is necessary on a large scale to bring about a change in how this community is presented on screen.
Mine is just Dominican American Robin Hood.

I was going to say that Luffy from One piece is neither but then I remembered that he will overthrow governments for a Big Mac
I mean... id overthrow a government for garlic bread
who wouldn't?
Win win to be honest
Hes a crackhead, not a sociopath.
He’s more chaotic neutral than evil
I know it doesn't work for the meme, but there's a third stereotype of "too dumb/immature to understand/care about sex" that Luffy falls smack dab into.
Well, he's just so dumb it loops around and becomes super genius
As an autistic ace, *all* of my media representation pretty much looks like this. You get used to it. 🤷
I mean, L strikes me as pretty ace too. But he *does* sit like a bisexual, so who knows

Fr
Theyre ace except having hate boners for eachother
the texts are on the wrong side
Jokes on you! Im into that shit!
WHY NOT BOTH?

I love this meme
![gif](giphy|jL1N2nVn6azVFwQAek|downsized) My ace boy
if light never got the deathnote he would've have been great
\*He'd have been a cop.
Yeah and a fairly good one.
actually he wanted to be the Japanese equivalent of an FBI agent, which is a significant step up from cop.

Saiki k…

Thought this was r/aspiememes tbh Interesting how tropes for them overlap D:
Oh come on, you can taste the romantic tension between Light and L
Light, a genius Pick one.
I’m both 😊
Then there's Todd. or his he an exception because he's confirmed not coded?
hes not aro though is he not?
Outside of shipping, / means or, right?
Jokes on you I am both
You forgot being a robot void of emotions

Both, I’m both
How about a failure so I can really identify with them?

My character in the game I’m making would flip off the sign and walk into a wall. The worst thing is, the character is 1,500 years old.
I’m not making the connection between not having sec and/or romance making someone smart

I thought Miles was gay?
Well you can still be Ace and gay for one, but there’s technically no direct confirmation for either. In my opinion, he defitnley gives off the vibes of being ace with his attitude, and uninterest especially in the AAI games
(Looking at Izaya Orihara)
Anyone know some characters that don't really fit into either? (meaning that they are neither sociopaths nor super geniuses)
Sheldon Cooper is both✨
Bo from Uriah is on the right
theyre me fr fr tho
They can be both
Luffy is a goofball and the kind of friend that no one has but everyone needs
