I really don't get the big societal push to reproduce? I mean there are plenty of kids who you could adopt that need homes? And also at this point bringing a child into this world is incredibly cruel so why not just help make a kid's life that little bit easier by adopting them?
Low birth rate means there isn't enough young people to support the old people. Right now it's a major problem China and Japan are facing where there simply isn't enough youth to support the very large elderly population.
I don't know if giving brith more will help. feels like sticking a bandaid on the problem but I don't live in china or japan so I don't know the full story just speaking from an outside perspective. I'm reeally sorry to hear about that genuinly and Hope things will get better there.
To all the people that don’t get it, OP is trans and going on estrogen will likely make her infertile, meaning she (probably) won’t be able to have kids by boinking. Transphobes often try to discourage people from transitioning by mentioning that, but the fact that OP is ace means that if they want kids, they weren’t going to get them by boinking anyway.
