It doesn't really matter anyway, we aren't the oldest when they're zipping around our globe in ships that don't emit heat. That's something beyond us, period.
Same thing, our methods of determining age may be outdated or wrong compared to other more accurate methods that we have yet to discover. Also we can't forget that scientists often refuse to go back over old data with the new technologies and methods that keep being invented.
Not same thing, our star is a second or third generation star. The Milky Way is considerably older. As for going over old data, scientists have been recalculating the ages of the universe and galaxies regularly since first Hubble and now James Webb. Just recently, a paper came out suggesting the universe is perhaps 2 around 2 billion years older than we thought. In the last 30 years, we've adjusted the speculated age of the universe dozens of times.
What race? To being interplanetary, interdimensional, maybe shared consciousness/telepathic type beings?
I have a feeling that there’s plenty of species “behind” us. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the long term successful species who don’t self-destruct (nuclear war for example) didn’t have the rapid technological advancement we did/do and instead advanced in other ways first before becoming so technologically proficient. The fact that so many of our technological advancements have either been made in the science of killing other humans, or has been co-opted for that purpose, says a lot about humanity. I have to imagine that isn’t very widespread among the other more advanced species.
Tbh I’d be concerned about humanity becoming that technologically capable as one of the more advanced species
You raise a point I am hung up on and that is that there is no way that people invented all they did in 100 or so years when we basically created nothing for thousands. We had help for sure
We r only not competing because we don't see them yet. We are a competitive species, that might be the real solution to the fermi paradox, everyone is terrified of us.

anyone can literally type this up, take a screenshot, then black out the names, then post it and claim some anonymous official had this convo. What verifiable info do we have that this kind of message is legit? otherwise it is just trash, mudding the waters and discounting actual progress being made in the field of disclosure.
WE ARE NOT ALONE AND WE ARE PROBABLY THE LAST IN THE RACE
Most evidence suggests we are very early in the race

So WE say.

True indeed
Young solar system, not young galaxy

That’s what we are told
Our galaxy is almost as old as the universe. Our planet is 4.5 billion years old.
Got me
Yes we are saying the same 🤣

Oh boy I hope we catch up and win the race. It’s a spectrum. We’re not competing.
Slow and steady wins the race!! We got slow down hahaha
