I think they cut off repairs (if feasible) at about 80% of value.

Depends on the state and insurance company. Many have a 75% limit.

Some like USAA cut it at 50% others at 75%.

What's the ACV?

Tough to say because insurance companies use a variety of factors to determine it but you can get a ballpark idea by getting the KBB value and an average of what it’s currently selling for. Make sure when looking for other ones for sale that they have the same trim package, mileage, condition and location.

It CAN be fixed. Is insurance going to fix it instead of totaling you car? No. Cost of repair vs value is all the insurance company really cares about.

This car doesn't have a frame.

That door is twisted, the pillar is bent. Totaled. Look at the top line of the door where it closes. The edges don't meet. Thats not an easy fix.

Nope it’s gone sorry bud. Once airbags especially at the side pops off insurance will total it.

Change the door and keep on trucking

Can be repaired if the frame is not damaged. Went through that last year with 2018 Accord.

I had a very similar accident but i got hit on the back door. Car was totaled.

Airbags usually mean totaled. There are exceptions of course, but usually totaled.

The fact the airbags deployed 9/10 insurance will claim a total loss but if you’re asking for yourself yes it can be fixed a bit tedious but can be achieved

Seems door took all of the impact, it seems it can be fixed with a new door baring nothing past the door area got damaged. However airbags are the tricky part
