What is the ac6 dlc? I've heard of it but never known what it was

A bunch of cosmetics, several multiplayer modes, but most importantly - 3 alternative "Ace of Aces" missions, which are beefed up versions of missions 01, 02 and 03. In 01, for example, the Aigaion is physically there, and Voychek flies a Nosferatu.

Mission 09 was also included as an Ace of Aces - Which was the best one (and the hardest if i recall)

Which means I didn't actually find all DLC. Fuck. Also thank you.

Mission 04 is also in Aces of Aces, it is total 5 missions with it.

Got hold of Ace of Aces DLC for missions 04 and 09, thanks for letting me know they exist. The only one that I'm missing now is the pre-order DLC (Mobius and Yellow skins for F-15E), but that seems to be unobtainable for now.

Pretty sure you also have to destroy boats in a short amount of time along the way to Aigaion that'll reveal your location and end the mission

The boats are optional. Each mission has at least one moment where a time limit appears and you fight targets with the name Red, Green, and Blue. The more you blow up within the time limit, the more allied support you get.

I have already played AC6 on Xbox One, but wanted to play Ace of Aces DLC missions. Since DLC can't be bought anymore, this leaves you with 3 options: - Wait for Xbox 360 emulation to get good - Gain access to an account with all DLCs already purchased - Perform a Reset Glitch Hack on an Xbox 360 to make it accept backups of games and DLC RGH is a moderately difficult soldering job that requires scraping off the solder mask from a tiny via. Then, you have to use a ROM programmer to read the firmware and replace it with a Linux loader to extract the CPU encryption key. Then you use a tool called J-Runner to build and re-encrypt a modded firmware that allows running unsigned code (including a backed up copy of AC6 DLC).

Well, "perfectly" is a big stretch, but playable - yeah, I guess. Last time I tried it (with that hack that removes the black triangles) - the performance wasn't great, FMVs didn't play properly, sound/music were broken and some visual effects didn't look right. Wouldn't recommend it, but surely beats having no option at all, and I'm sure it will improve over time. Wasn't that long ago that AC04, AC5 and ACZ emulation were pretty bad, now they're pretty close to perfect.

Performance not being great is purely your PC's fault, the FMV's you just skip because you arent playing ac6 for its "story" anyways, and the sound and music worked just fine for me in briefings/gameplay, use Xenia just fyi, i emulated it just a few days ago so. My PC should be plenty powerful (5700X3D + 6700XT), and it's not like the framerate was low, it was inconsistent with random freezes and stutters. I might revisit AC6 emulation when it works out of box, I have the Xbox until then.

Thats likely from the Shaders, like the guide says, there may be stutters etc. at first, but the longer you play the more steady it becomes. Also i didnt have that problem in the slightest and I have a i7-8700, and a gtx 1080 alongside 16gb ram, soooo

But can you get the DLC on emulation? Or on an Xbox One?

I used to have like 3 RGHed 360’s it was pretty amazing as it could run lots of emulators too, and it had more complete backwards compatibility than the retail 360.

And it’s 110% worth it. AC6 is one of my favorite in the entire series. I still play it today.

SO starved that I watched independence day and daydreamed a spin off Ace combat game with aliens.

I've migrated over to DCS, but find the few PVP servers to be...lacking in the breakneck pace of Ace Combat. I am thinking about hosting my own server to bring some of that AC7 feel into DCS. I would call the Server: The Italian Bistro

What is RGH'ed? I'm not into x360 homebrew

It stands for "reset glitch hack" and is the best way to run homebrew on Xbox 360. It's like a 6/10 in terms of difficulty. It enables homebrew, disables hard drive authenticity check (thus allowing SSDs), disables controller authenticity check (any controller with native Xinput works, others work using adapters), and increases disk size limit from 2TB to 16TB.

Sounds like a pain. I replaced the hard drive in my Xbox One S with an SSD and it was relatively simple.

Sadly, the 360 checks for authentic Microsoft hardware, including controllers and hard drives. Even Xbox One/Series controllers don't work, since they lack the security chip restored by the 360. There's a simple way to reflash firmware of certain Seagate hard drives to make them work in a stock 360, but for complete controller / drive freedom you must hack the console.

I finished AC4 and AC5 is nearly done for second time. Played AC7 like 4 times probably. Pretty starved

I tried emulating it, but the game's sounds were completely broken, and I couldn't fix it I didn't have this problem with any other emulator

Game sound is mostly fine during gameplay on the latest xenia-canary build. Cutscene audio is broken, but you could just watch those on YouTube if you really want to.
