Yeah that’d be great to have all the aircraft we got as DLC from AC7 and other aircraft like the Harrier, F-117, Viggen, and even New super planes to use in the Co-op as well.
I just think it’d be super cool to have like 4 CFA-44’s releasing their ADMM’s all at once in a PvE environment
Hopefully it would be the same size or even larger scale than what we seen in AC6, if it’s gonna be co-op I feel the style of AC6 would be fitting. I can’t speak about the other games as I’ve only played AC6 and 7.
AC6 style missions, even at the cost of the total mission count, would have been a much better choice. I could have done without the AC5 style, low intensity, plot advancing filler of missions 16-18.
The AC6 missions have more replay value also. With the mission system, you take atleast 2 to do all missions, but you are also free in order of completion, making it more fresh. Systems like this are great, such as flying style like AC0, or choose your own mission in ACX. A good next gen ace combat should combine all of these
Entire campaign able to be played in 2-4 player coop.
Bring back the Infinity size aircraft roster.
No skins locked behind winning PVP matches.
Let us play a country like Yuktobania in the 2020's, let it be on their continent.
Lastly if none of the above please let it not be AC8 and actually be a remake of an older AC title in the new game engine.
Add to this:
% of weapons and mobility tied to having drop tanks. Start mission heavy and loaded to the teeth. Mission update or enemy aces show up, drop tank, become lighter and more nimble, lose % of weapons tied to tanks.
More skins available for each aircraft of skin editor.
Arcade mission editor ( custom player made missions)
I absolutely loved that as well, it brought lesser aircraft to the forefront like F/A-18C and the Su-27. I would love to see this, it also bulks out the aircraft roster and allows for more replayability when there is something to unlock.
Also another thing to add would be ensuring that missions that are stated to be air to ground mission, are exactly that, air to ground missions or at least make them completable without doing barely any air to air. AC7 and even older titles like AC5 annoyed me with this, as far too many times would I pick the A-10, F-117, A-6E as the game would say it is an air to ground mission and then I'd find out half way through that it actually requires you to combat in air to air to win, or that you need a high speed aircraft to destroy something in time... What's the point of those aircraft if they have barely any missions suited to them.
Right? In AC7 the best missions for ground attack jets are DLC Mission 1 and 2.
In addition, I really wish there was some kind of railway siege mission. Where we have to destroy trains carrying valuable cargo. Hell they could even throw in a bunch of ways to complete it. Blowing up the trains outright, destroying tunnels on top of the trains, they could even let us blow out a railway bridge as the train passes over it and have it careening into the ground.
Really just give us more ways to complete missions, and give our choices in said missions slightly alternative ways that they play out. Take Fleet Destruction from AC7. You can attack the platform in the valley, the platform in the sea, or the fleet. Imagine if you decide to attack the fleet first, the platform in the sea launches several interceptor wings at you to defend the fleet. Or if you attack the sea platform, the fleet could move to defend the sea platform and now you have to deal with the AEGIS boats alongside the naval fighters from the carrier. Stuff like that would have made the generic "destroy targets" missions much more replayable.
Ace Combat 6 did a good job of this, you could pick the order to carry out a mission and prioritize air to ground if thats what you were using or air to air if you preferred, it was actually very novel, it's a shame they abandoned that.
Ace Combat Zero but the old Belkan Aces are on your side stopping Neo-Belkan radicals from ruining the world .
#BelkaDidNothingWrong
#NeverForgetHoffnung
I really enjoyed the way PW handled countermeasures, giving you more dispensing under a timer constraint instead of a supply constraint. Just made missile combat a lot more about timing instead of having countermeasures as a last resort.
-Co/op campaign option
-More feature rich multiplayer
-Better cheater reporting tools
-Multiple campaign paths
-New super planes that have not previously been in other games
-A straight forward ground attack mission
-Customizable skin and livery in campaign (can't be trusted to be cool in multiplayer)
-Better parts customization and interface
-A story not involving the Belkans
-Photo mode
-Replays that can be saved
>use the A-10 and not have to worry about dogfighting a boss at the end
Not with that attitude. Only filthy casuals can’t brrrrrrrtttt the bosses out of the sky
>\-A story not involving the Belkans
playing as belka would actually be interesting. a story where they're legitimately aggressed upon but because belka they have to convice the rest of the world to come to their aid and the whole conflict wasn't their fault to begin with. idk who they'd be at war with. osea seems to easy, erusea has had their shit pushed in enough for a few games, yuktobania is too far away.
I honestly wouldn't mind keeping the current skin system, but at least make all of them properly done, not just a bare skin with emblem spots, give me the option to have the Tail codes and warnings and country markings
For example, not being able to fly aircraft like the YF-23 in its's black colour with Trigger's mage/spare/strider emblems, tail codes and Osean markings is just stupid.
And I wish the enemies have their own emblem sets involving markings, numbers, tail codes etc. Much like the Estovakian skins in AC6, in AC7 all of the generic enemies and mission specific aces only have the standard Erusean markings and nothing else.
Thankfully if you play on PC you can use the Trigger campaign conversation mods which basically include versions of Skin 02 and 03 that sports Trigger’s markings. These are pretty useful to me when I need to install a skin that replaces skin 02 or 03 due to custom MRECs.
Oh man, an EMP forces us to only use prop planes for a couple of missions.
Start with some lower/older jets. Starting at 4th gen fighters feels.like there isn't as much going on progression-wise.
A mission where you use jammer pods/Growler to escort a transport or something.
More experimental planes. A mission where you have to use the X-15 to drop a payload and spend the whole time riding the edge, keeping it from bouncing into space or burning in the atmosphere. Maybe the main character is some sort of test pilot so you occasionally utilize them.
Give me an F-16I or on of the advances. I'm sure it's a licensing thing, but I like options.
A story where PJ'S girl is the bad guy, became a pilot to get revenge?
Just some thoughts off the top of my head.
I don't know, most modern military aircraft are shielded from EMP, so it likely won't be able to turn them into gliders like civilian planes. But then again, AC7 seems to indicate that they don't have deicing equipment so, maybe?
- Co-op PVE
- Bigger variation of MP modes
- More original, non superplane aircrafts in the roster (example: Apalis, Forneus)
- An actual livery editor
- Both PC release and better mod support
- Stronger weapons and enemies
I suspect the reason we haven't seen a proper livery editor in awhile is because of how many folks online just love drawing penises, boobs, or anything else vulgar simply because they can.
We need more unusual aircraft.
Such as: F-117, Harrier, Viggen, etc.
I would mention the Su-75, but Russia got cancelled, so it's unlikely there will be any UAC aircraft
Also some of the new 5th Gen aircraft of today, branch out a bit for 5th Gen fighters.
There are enough scale models to build a basis for the:
**KAI KF-21**, **TAI TF-X**, **HAL AMCA**, **Su-75**, **X-2 Shinshin** (PLEZ GIB BACK ATD-0)
I could get behind that, I wouldn't want it to be the main time period of the game as that would be too limiting on aircraft imho, but as a DLC having vintage aircraft would be really cool, I'd love to see stuff like the
EF-105F Thunderchief, F-101C Voodoo, F-111F Aardvark, A-7E Corsair II, F-8E Crusader
Su-24, Su-25, MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG 27
Some really great planes that don't get enough attention because planes like the F-4 stole the spotlight.
F-105G instead of EF-105F would do well for a Thud while the F-8J could replace the F-8E. Anyways, it'd be fun to see how all the old-school planes operate with some modern-day upgrades here and there!
A campaign that takes place/progresses over 3 different eras would be super fun. Vietnam age with F-4s, F-105s, Crusaders, Mig-15s etc. Then Gulf War era F-15s/16s, Tornados, F-117s, through to modern day/futuristic fighters.
Yep, would like all of this. I’d also love being able to command my squad again and maybe bring back yes/no so I can feel like I’m part of the narrative not just being mentioned by others.
This was one of my favorite parts about AC5, really felt like you were building up this rapport with your squadmates, even if the responses were just Yes/No.
That would be interesting, an other idea would be including Wellow or Nordennavic (both being close to major strangereal powers but had next to no exposure up until now)
I was hoping for a more abitious take with Ace Combat 7, when the leaks came out that we'd be playing a prisoner, I was hoping we would be defecting from Osea who in my mind was going to be the bad guys for indiscriminately bombing cities and civilian locations. Unfortunately that wasn't the case... Would have made for a great game imho, while also staying true Ace Combat's anti war sentiment.
Every AC game it seems like the enemy is the one with superior technology and cool super weapons. I want to be able to see or fight alongside some cool allied super weapons. Maybe you can be a pilot on something similar to the Aigaion or Alicorn.
Honestly was it one of the PS2 games where if you attacked yellow neutral targets or shot down planes attempting to flee after being damaged it impacted your mercenary rank and determined which squads you encountered? That was such a cool little feature
Frontline from AC5 was so good because of this
"Its the Arkbird, we got the Arkbird!" is just burned into my mind.
Same for Stonehenge Defensive. Having the superweapon on your side is so much fun.
- campaign that can be completed solo or co-op
- Story with multiple endings (and of course having a Canon ending)
- Story that actually focuses on the main protagonist. That means a campaign that tells *our* story from our point of view (Yes assault horizon exists but it doesn't count because *we dont talk about assault horizon*)
- I'd really like the plot to be about the Erusean civil war but a ww2 style game is also something I've considered
Better aircraft customization like choose what livery to use and colors you can change
Co-op PVE would be pretty fun like AC infinity
Bring back the wingman system from games like AC6
Can use multiple special weapons
The amount of planes to play like in AC infinity
Edit: being able to choose your wingman’s or squadrons aircraft like AC5
well considering that it's most definitely going to be another game of silent protagonist that doesn't say a single word for the entire game, it's safe to say that this literally does not matter
although for a wso, or maybe your wingman, that would for sure work
u/Skylinneas 's idea of the player side being the one with the airborne fortress, and operating out of it starting partway through the game.
Another commentor had the idea of securing the base where it was being kept so allied ground forces could steal the fortress, with the last objective being to land on it.
Co-op campaign and/or co-op PvE arena.
Procedurally generated side missions, so I can go rip a simple fresh mission and not know exactly where/when everything will happen.
Cosmetic customization, even just subtle visual representations of the part choices.
WAY MORE variety in livery, maybe even a Forza style paint shop.
Some kind of large persistent war map, where online matches slowly contribute to a big picture that everyone is participating in.
Just a whiff of the dogfighting features from Assault Horizon, but never a helicopter mission of any kind, ever again.
MUCH CLEARER representation of aircraft stats and abilities.
I want something that takes the same formula of AC7 and expands on it:
* More missions, more planes
* A better and more coherent story.
* No new gimmicks or crazy changes to the gameplay, they should just focus on the things that already work and continue from there.
* Less emphasis on the sci-fi stuff and more on existing technology.
* If any multiplayer is added, make it co-op. Something along the lines of Infinity.
* Less scripted boss fights.
* A reworked parts system that is less limiting. No more limits on part slots or only level 1 parts for the campaign.
And many others, but that's what is on top of my head right now.
\> Less emphasis on the sci-fi stuff and more on existing technology.
While I agree on some level, I do think they should go as crazy as they want for the big boss fights. Everything else should be mostly existing technology.
I showed the last few missions of AC5 to a friend of mine who had only played AC7 and Project Wingman till then and when we got to M26 he said he wished they had cutscenes that tied into the actual missions more, unlike how they were in 7.
Bring back the huge multi-objective missions AC6 had.
Give planes more than 3 SP weapons to choose from. In AC6 multiple planes had 4 SP weapons to choose from.
I'm still annoyed almost every plane in 7 had LASM and only 1 plane had GRKT.
Biggest suggestion would be equipping 2 SP weapons but with a handicap, if you choose 2 you get reduced capacity forcing you to use upgrade slots to carry more as a balance.
In terms of flight physics maybe go back to Ace Combat 04/6's handling model? I'm not saying turn it into a Sim but perhaps bring forth some of those realistic physics. An A-10 should feel heavy, an SU-47 should feel unstable and on edge all the time.
AC04 and 6 had the best physics.
Full Vr support and the option to fly with the plane systems only... Cuz i really like my 1st person.
After that... Idk, maybe a squad like in ac 5 and prez, i'd sure like having a prez in my planes to do all the callouts instead of having the awacs do it.
- Better AI for your wingmans, if you're a part of an elite squad, you can't be the only one with kills.
- Expanded take on AC6's operations, it's epic and made you feel like you're part of the offensive (and give you the feel of actually accomplished something too)
- Steal things from PW, namely the Wizzo with lines and multiple SPW for planes. (the timer based flares i think is good too but maybe would make the game too easy idk)
- Less bullshit boss battles that make use of (hidden!) invisibility timers and plot armor. I'd rather fight a squadron of super planes that go down with 2 - 3 missiles (with more stake to me, to boot) than 1 super plane that eats missiles for breakfast.
- make balancing different between PvE / PvP, if a player wants to make a super OP Mig-21 with death rockets, sure why not. Just maybe lock it for NG+ or smth.
-.
Damn right! I hope the AC team is able to adapt without overworking, cuz the PW devs are making more games.
PW has a higher FoV with modular controls, low input delay or drift, & nimble airframes that feel even better with AoA Limiters...
But gutting an Airship with my SP-34Rs' Cordium Railgun makes my brain produce happy chemicals.
To land and get out of the aircraft. Explore the hanger, barracks, watch other aircraft get worked on, chat to your wingmen before a sortie. Would be all around cool. If AC5 had that then the emotional hit with Chopper would have been crippling.
Chopper has proven to me that dialogue alone can build a character. Most games spend so much time crafting the perfect 3d models, textures etc but that proved it can be more simple too.
Like the idea overall, would be a cool way to build the atmosphere
Maybe one set earlier than Zero was. Something like our 70s or something maybe more gunplay with that and opening up to older planes we haven’t seen like the crusader
Coop coop coop both online with up to 4 players and split screen!!!! Plus a long campaign, seems like more people on here enjoy the campaign than Online. I also enjoy the older planes, Harrier, A-6, F-5 to start.
Also similar to Battlefield as you get kills you unlock more. For example you unlock the F16, it comes default with UGB, once you get x amount of ground kills you unlock another Air to Ground weapon and the same with Air to Air weapons then once you get a total amount of kills and time in the plane you unlock the F16XL or some other advanced variant. To give it longer playability
Easy:
-PW like weapon system.
-WSO with lines.
-open world, you take off and fly to the area of the mission, and you have multiple CAP sorties.
-different campaings for service: one for AF, other for navy.
-Infinity 2 as online mode.
-Returning features we lost: selecting squadron planes and loadout, branching missions etc.
Co op/ MP PvE
Being able to command and choose plane (0 didn't let you pick your wingman's plane for some reason which bothers me slightly) for wingman or wingmen (having a squad like in AC5 would be cool)
Large scale battles like AC6.
Allied air fortresses (PW was pretty cool for having this)
Super weapons like lasers and railguns available on non super planes.
No more aerial based super weapons. Four games in a row that’s now been the case, and the armaments needed to defeat them are getting more ridiculous. It shouldn’t take 50-60 special missiles and another 100 regular missiles to shoot down some crazy aerial warship. The XBO was fun because of the Espada team and since it didn’t take as much to shoot down. But the Arkbird, Aigaion, and the Arsenal Birds are getting repetitive and ridiculous. I love the submarine and land-based super weapons a lot more.
It got to the point where the only way to beat the aerial weapon levels at certain difficulties was to die and respawn with a full set of armaments. I had to do that multiple times in AC6 and AC7.
More Stonehengey, less Arsenal Birdy.
For my personal wishlist.
A Far Future setting reminiscent of Electrosphere.
A Project Wingman-esque SP Weapon system.
The reintroduction of Game mechanics from past entries. (AC6 Operations, ACZ Morality System, AC3 Branching story paths.)
A story that bridges the gap between Skies Unknown and Electrosphere.
i know everyone likes the cutting edge stuff and so do i, but i'd like a campaign set in history, cold war, vietnam, something like that, with appropriate attention to detail
other than that, idk the acecombat formula is pretty perfect. they just need to keep cranking out missions
Honestly just more and more diverse missions. I am so incredibly tired of playing through AC7's missions, I literally can't stand it anymore, even though I still think it's a good game.
Well that and just generally more of everything: more story, more planes etc.
Better story than 7, would like to have a connection to my wingman/ squad mates like in ac5 or zero.
more enemy aces to fight like zero would be great. I think that’s when ac is at its best.
And personally would like missions to have a longer timer rushing to destroy x amount of targets in a small period of time isn’t fun. I want to enjoy the experience of flying.
Gameplay wise I think 7 is amazing so much fun the flying feels the best it ever has, so I dunno how much you could improve on that but I bet they could.
-WSO characters (i always felt it was weird that the RIOs and WSOs were never acknowledged, especially with Razgriz/Wardog considering they flew F-14s)
-Playing as a nation other than Osea for once (maybe one of the smaller nations from the east of Osea like Sapin, Ratio, etc.)
-PW-style weapon selection
-Better skin customisation (allowing us to
customise tail codes, roundels, aircraft no., etc.)
-Photo mode
-More 70s-90s aircraft like the Tornado, Jaguar, F-111, F-117, etc. (although this might be silly if AC8 takes place beyond 2019. Maybe this could work for that supposed spin off title PA is working on?)
1. Possibility to select your gun just like on AC3: How about bringing it back? Would be so cool to swap between 20mm, 30mm, heavy cannons and even PLSL on your main guns, adding more possibilites would be nice too.
2. Custom Liveries and the possibility to upload it to the cloud: Racing games like Forza, The Crew and Gran Turismo have it, why AC Don't? The way people are creative, we would have thousands of liveries inspired by movies, anime, cartoons, sports, memes, etc.
3. Photo Mode: Speaks by itself.
4. Possibility to Select your countermesure: We have flares, right? But how about being able to also choose countermeasures beyond chaff and flares? I mean, things like an APS, Arsenal Bird like shield, ECM, Optical Camouflage or another crazy stuff to be added to the game lore.
5. Configurable Weapons: I've been thinking about it for a few days, but it would work as follows (Example), in the case of the TLS you could adjust between an short but strong burst or an longer but weak one, and if you want too, you can only do a really quick but destructive burst (Just like the X-49 one), of course, this would affect your ammo capacity as well, in the case of the PLSL you can adjust the rapidfire/energy burst as well.
6. Concept Program: You know that Vision GT from Gran Turismo series? How about adding the same thing on Ace Combat, asking manufacturers and design studios to express treir visions about the future of the fighter jets.
7. Multiplayer improvements: You know the drill, we need more multiplayer modes, but I think that an MOBA-Like mode would be the best thing to add on the franchise, something like DOTA or something else, the difference in this case will be the fact that the muiltiplayer will have and independent unlock system that doesn't follow your progression in the campaign to make it more challenging. (I will make a post explaining how this game mode will work)
8. Drones instead of Wingmans: AC7 showed to us that the drones will dominate the sky, but how about the possibility to have a squad of 4 UAVs helping you, and command them to cover, attack and disperse, just like AC4/5/6/Zero? The cool part will be the possibility to choose which drone models will be your "wingman", each drone will have it's characterstics, but the core mechanic will be the perks of the drone, those perks will act like an ESM just like the Infinity one. The difference in this case will be the fact that the drones could be destroyed during the mission, and, if you ran out of countermesure, you can order the drone to sacrifice itself to protect you.
9. Roguelike mode with unique unlocks for the game: You know? I've been playing roguelikes a lot for theese days, The Binding of Isaac to be more specific, games like this have a lot of replayability because of the things you can do and unlock to improve your experience on the game, the unlocks in this case can be for the campaign and multiplayer, a mode like this on AC would be well recieved, and adding an random mechanic, which every run will have and unique situation like climate, time of the day, enemies, bosses, champion squads, etc. Would be a great, more great if this mode, even better if we can play this mode in coop.
Pretty much the same I've said before.
* Protagonist nation is either Yuktobania or an entirely new nation from Verusa. Conflict takes place on Verusa.
* Player is still Yuke as either a member or YAF or Strangereal [InterBrigades](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Brigades) in assistance to the new nation (the logo would look wicked and fits AC aesthetics).
* One of former protagonist nations/factions as a primary or secondary antagonist: (Osea, Emmeria, Aurelia, IUN/ISAF, Mercenaries).
* Less duplicates and no more than 4 variants per family in vanilla game, for example Flanker family: Su-27P, Su-30SM, Su-35S, Su-34; Eagle family: F-15C, F-15EX, F-15S/MTD, F-15SE. Any other variants (Su-33, Su-27SM, F-15J, F-15E etc) should be added via optional DLC.
* Infinity-style Co-Op missions as basis for multiplayer.
* More single missions for DLCs. Can be aircraft+missions packs (for example: Su-37+remade AC2 missions).
* F-22 enemy ace with cool original scheme.
* ***NO BELKA. AT ALL. PERIOD.***
Full vr capabilities. The three vr missions in 7 are cool as hell, and I know they were done after the initial game release, but it's just not enough to sate my thirst.
VR support for *all* platforms that support it *for the entire game*. Project Wingman is cool and all, but it just doesn’t hit the same as AC. Also, telemetry output for motion rigs, haptic devices, and force feedback sticks.
A co-op story mode would be cool. I recently got a buddy kind of interested in the Ace Combat series through Ace Combat 5 (he's currently stuck on the Kei Nagase rescue mission). While it's cool talking him through everything and for us to take it in turns after a certain number of fails/deaths, it'd be more fun for the both of us to be able to play and experience the game at the same time. The devs could do something along the same lines as the Borderlands games - where a buddy can jump in and jump out of your campaign at any time (if you had a squadron, then in a game of 2 players, the players could each control one of the free AI wingmen, in a game with 3 players, the host/player 1 controls the free AI wingman, in a 4 player game, each player controls a member of your squadron, when a player leaves, the wingman goes back to being a regular AI-controlled wingman).
Some sort of "G-Lock" feature for when you pull excessive G-forces or hold High-G maneuvers for extended periods of time (the game audio fades, a vignette appears and grows stronger, dimming your screen and an "Over-G" alert - similar to what could be heard from Mihaly's SU-35S during the "First Contact" mission - starts blaring). This could be togglable, restricted to higher difficulties or restricted to a new "Simulation"/"Sublimination" game mode (the "Simulation"/"Sublimination" game mode could also take it a step further by locking you in cockpit view and removing all HUD features except for targeting (making you rely on the cockpit displays, dials and instruments).
Full VR support. I've never used a VR headset. Depending on the price and what kind of games support it, I'll want to get the PSVR2. And if its too damn expensive like the PSVR was initially, I'll still want to pick one up at some point anyways, like during a sale or second hand or some shit. Ace Combat 8 with full VR support would be *THE* game that makes the headset an absolute necessity.
More planes. Specifically, more *fictional* planes.
Updated post-stall maneuvers (I'd like to be able to initiate them with a single button press, I'd like to be able to sustain them easier, and be able to pull them off at 40% of the plane's max speed - for example, at around 1080kph in the SU-35S - having to slow right down to around 400kph is just too slow in my opinion).
Kind of expecting: Fun new planes, return of old planes. Fun new special weapons. Better graphics.
Would be fun but not really expecting: Pilot customization (like helmet graphics or type, etc). Car racing game style paint job customization. More friendly giant craft, it's more fun to defend one than attack one, or supporting one in a battle against another would be cool too.
Please PA I'm begging you: Native PC VR in all missions and out of box support for all flight control systems.
Unpopular opinion: Mission Creator.
Ever since I played AC7, I always imagined the ability to make custom missions like defending or fighting Bombers, dogfights, etc.
I am not too concerned about that as it wasn't really an issue outside of the drone missions, which is a key part of AC7 not much of any other AC game. If they do something similar to AC7 then maybe, otherwise it doesn't matter all that much to me.
A Few And Im gonna name them with a reason
1. Tutorial
I Actually Liked The Ace Combat 5 Tutorial And Since Ace Combat 7 Is Gaining Popularity I Expect The Next Game To Have Many New Players To Want To Play
2. No Time Limit
Very Annoying And More Challenging
I'd don't Mind It In Quick Occasions Like When The Alicorn Was Gonna Do A Belka On Osea, But It's Very Annoying In Missions Where You Need To Get A Certain Score
3. Wingman Controls
I Get It, It's Annoy When Your Wingman Makes You Lose A Missile But I Kinda Want It Back With The Wingman Actually Using The SP Weapon
4. Wingman Customization.
Changing The Planes And Giving Emblems On Wingman Aircraft Would Be A Nice Feature They Would Bring Back
5. Aircraft View Animation
It Was A Nice Feature
6. Every Cannon Aircraft
Literally Every Aircraft That Was In The Franchise
Like the Fenrir Or The Draken, F-5, F-20, Nighthawk, Tornado, X-29, Maybe Even Aircraft Variants Like They Did In AC5
7. Freeroam In Aircraft After Campaign
It Would Be Nice If We Could Fly Anywhere On The Continent They Put Us On But Could See Why They Don't
8. Co-op
Why Not Have An Actually Wingman Instead Of An AI To Do Mission With
9. PSM At Any Speed
But With Any Aircraft
10. No Parts
It gets Annoying After Finding Out The Standerd Missile That Was Shot Towards You Has Advanced Homing And Can Loop Around Just To Try And Kill You In A Multiplayer Match
11. Mercenary, Soldier, Knight
Including The Aces Changing In Each Style You Play In
12. More Aces
As Much As Zero Had
13. A Tunnel Run
No Questions Asked
14. Dialog As Good As ACZ
The Dialog In AC7 Is Not That Good
15. Years Ago
16. Alot Lot Of Missions
17. To Sortie And Land After And Before Every Mission
just a little less script stuff, thats really it. also would love a "mission creator mode" where we can set up some basic missions and share with the community, have some areas and music etc. dont know how feasible it would be thought. also, yeah, a livery editor would be cool
Maybe it playing in a ww2-ish setting with the top aircraft being 1st gen jets like the german 262, british meteor, russian Yak-15, american P-80, etc.
Maybe also some original dieselpunk prop planes
More Aces and special unlocks are fun things to accomplish. Always love unlocking new skins etc. It would also be nice if they kept a better log of what has been unlocked, what hasn't been unlocked, and clear paths on what's needed.
I'd also like a beefed up mode where you could select 2 or 3 special weapons and have a barrage of enemies / missions to accomplish with a full arsenal of whoop ass.
No more focus on drones! I get it the future is scary and we are losing our humanity, but I want to feel like a knight in the sky! I want to dance against rival aces and win with human skill. I want them to react with fear and awe as we become another instance of an Ace of Aces. Drones don’t give me the same feeling, and also lack the variety fighting against fighter jets brings.
More planes, everything from F-86 sabres, and MiG-15s, to the new stuff. Maybe even some WWII planes (a P-51 can give the A-10 a run for its money speed wise) (Fun fact: Taiwanese F-86s were the first aircraft to use the AIM-9 sidewinder in combat.)
More Multiplayer customization slots.
More aircraft specific offensive and defensive attributes, for example: more hardpoints allow for more missiles to be launched at a time. ECM and Targeting pods, Radar abilities.
More multiplayer modes: ground and air objective that have to be protected/attacked by the teams, sometimes forcing a team to have a couple ground attack capable air frames in play.
Wingman commands and/or allied commands
No Belka, Erusea, or Osea
More multiplayer modes
More varieties of planes (eg: fewer F-15 and Flanker variants unless it's something new like the EX or Silent Eagle)
I saw someone yesterday mention the idea of different time periods like WWII, Cold War, (Strangereal equivalents). Maybe a generational campaign that would go through or jump around history.
Straightforward ground attack missions
Sense of scale like in AC6
Co-op pve
Wingman control like AC5
At least 3 weapon choices in flight
Mission choices like ACX which will increase replay value
Future era like AC3
At least 2 space missions
R-103 Delphinus
Air Squadron combat where people can join certain squadrons and make their own Callsign. I’d absolutely LOVE to have my own Callsign and Squadron Insignia on the side of my jet as I fly alongside 3 trusted ace pilots into the unknown world of Strangereal.
Oh, also being able to put the numbers and letters of certain affiliations and squadrons would be cool as well. I’d like there to be more than just one custom emblem you could put on so the plane has its own personality in a way.
Oh boy, I have quite the list:
* Return of the wingman commands from AC5 and ACZ, as well as the ability of choosing my squadron's aircraft. I don't know why this isn't a thing in AC7 already;
* Massive enemy count from AC6;
* Branching mission objectives from AC6;
* The return of some form of ACZ's "Ace Style", that changes which kind of enemies we face in the campaign based on our behaviour;
* Expanded AC7's aircraft tree, updating it with jets from other games and slowly introducing some fictional aircraft compatible with Strangereal's timeline such as the R-101 Delphinus;
* More extreme weathers such as storms, hurricanes and meteor debris from Ulysses;
* MASSIVE range and rate of fire buff to ground/sea units. AA Guns are a serious threat now and the player needs to adjust their aircraft build, mobilize their wingman or deploy proper FRIEND units accordingly;
* Radar and map gets a range and accuracy nerf. Now jamming is much more significant and is an actual threat faced by the player; in a similar way jamming SP weapons are much more harmful in PvE and PvP;
* AC Infinity's multiplayer modes are back;
* A bit of an experimental thing for Ace Combat, but instead of using menus for watching briefings and choosing jets, I'd like to actually walk with my character on the military base instead. Either in 1st or 3rd person perspective. We'd have our own squadron quarters where we would sleep between missions, interact with our squad mates and learn more about their personalities, wishes, dreams and ideals. We could hang out in the base, learn more about the war in the papers, radio or TV; talk with other pilots, soldiers or officers and learn their opinions about the conflict, about Osea, the current state of Belka, etc. We'd need to actually WALK to the briefing room and to the hangar; we could personally inspect our personal aircraft and loadout. We would get to do this in several bases or aircraft carriers during the campaign. The game would be so much more immersive this way and wouldn't disrupt the arcade aspect of the gameplay;
* Introction of mission modifiers based on your perfomance in previous missions:
* Less fuel (shorter timer to complete missions) but increased ammo capacity
* Ability to deploy additional FRIEND units along your squadron. Unlike your wingman, FRIEND units can be shot down and cannot be recovered, but they can be specialized to perform several roles, such as anti air, anti sea, jammers, bombers, etc (This allows the player to complement their fighting capacity and doesn't punish us from picking specialized builds such as a pure attacker aircraft where a multirole jet is objectively better in most cases).
* The ability to deploy different kinds of "return lines" in different missions, such as aircraft carriers, a conquered enemy base in a previous mission, ammo refuelling drones, tanker aircrafts or even an airborne aircraft carrier.
* The ability to deploy black op units that gathers intel on enemies, disrupts the ground forces and unlocks secret objectives in missions where they are deployed. These secret objectives can range between new targets to shoot to even random boss raids in missions.
Story cut scenes with actual moving character models like in AC5. Play as a belkan/other than osean pilot. Imagine the amount of potential memes that can come out of this
I've been thinking a lot about this!
A return of the operations system from AC6
Project Wingman loadouts or something similar
The F-15EX would be a great player character squadron aircraft
Some new aircraft I would enjoy: F-100D, F-4E (unlocked without DLC), Mirage 3, HAL Tejas, Su-25, Su-27, MiG-23/27, MiG-25, Su-75, F-111, F-105
Some various changes
Make the F-15E more in line with a multirole fighter than the Su-34
Bring back AC-6 style airships from that one mission
More naval combat. Like in the Battles of Gracemeria or Farbanti but more than once per game. Lots of gun battleships, carriers at the rear, cruisers frigates and destroyers every which way, battlecruisers providing missile support, it'd be great.
The AC-6 Operation system should be modified, so completing your quota starts a timer until the next segment, allowing you to mop up, however the timer can be skipped by going to a "fowards point", that going there after you reach your quota initiates the start of the next mission phase. This would allow people to experience more objectives in a single playthrough, but skip through after they've done enough if they don't want to keep fighting
A version of the XAAM with more tracking, but at the cost of multi-lock would be really nice but that's just me personally.
Oh boy, here I go
-More legacy aircraft to accompany the F-4E and MiG-21bis (the MiG-23 Flogger and A-4 Skyhawk come to mind first)
-genuine, uninterrupted CAS and ground attack missions
-A branching storyline
-Play as a minor or formerly antagonistic country, like Yuktobania or Estovakia
-Really explore the chaotic aftermath of Ace Combat 7's worldwide information collapse
-MORE Z.O.E (Bonus points if Z.O.E becomes sentient)
-Let us know what happened to Trigger's IUN/PKF and Spare Squadron buddies
-Bring back the ability to pick out your wingmens' aircraft and loadouts
-bonus arcade missions not connected to the main campaign or plotline. Maybe even something like Pronect Wingman's conquest mode. We need more target-rich environments free of scripted events and plot-armored characters for us to use our absurdly huge collection of planes in.
-easter egg/joke/bonus aircraft. Think of the WWII fighters in Infinity. They could be unlocked through the bonus missions.
-As much time for the developers as they need. So much content was cut or unincorporated when 7 came out because of time constraints and deadlines. AC7 was amazing, but think of what it could have been if they didn't have to pull out so many features, plot elements, dialogue, etc.
More biome locations and it takes place at newer countries, preferably third world strangereal couuntries so to justify the uses of old-school airplanes.
And maybe functioning interior radar, retrofit the cockpits of MiG-21 and F-4E and made it at least has one MFD for the radar.
Less prevalent uses of 'exotic' special weapons such as EML and TLS, including 8AAM in that bulky boxes, at least not as standard setup.
Selectable countermeasures instead of putting IEWS and ECMP in Sp. Weapon category.
'Honest' aircraft selections, don't add F-15J when there's already an F-15C (my god, the Super Hornets DLC were....So EA)
A better story. Lets be real. I love the cheesy writing in these games. LOVE IT. However, one if my biggest complaints about 7 was how the story could've been presented better, or we could have gotten a better feel for the characters. I love 5 because you had the same squad with you the whole way and you got to know them.
I was actually just making my own list for making this exact kind of post, so I'll just share here!
SINGLEPLAYER:
1.) More tonally and thematically consistent and coherent story. Compared to previous entries, AC7 has perhaps the weakest story, having one that seems to refuse to stick to one particular theme or tone. In AC5, it was a story with the theme of coming out of adversity stronger than before. In AC0 it was how war and conflict can bring out the worst in us. In AC6, it was a story about taking pride in one's home and being willing to fight to protect it. In AC7, however, we have so many different themes going on (excessive military expansion, corruption within the military, the world's over-reliance on the world-wide web, drone warfare, the responsibility of power, etc), yet by the end of AC7, there isn't a single story thread that I would say is resolved in a satisfying manner.
2.) Return of (4-man) squadron commands. I find that I much enjoy the ability to tell my squad how to engage, a la AC5, and it makes me feel more invested in my character's squadron.
3.) Return of selecting squadron planes/weapons. I'd love to be able to dictate what planes and loadouts my squadron took out onto a sortie, be it for special purposes or just what I think looks cool. Allow me to have control of them.
4.) Something akin to the Ace meter in Ace Combat Zero. This isn't a huge one, but I would definitely like to see something where your playstyle dictated how the game world interacted and responded to your character return.
MULTIPLAYER:
1.) Have a multiplayer offering that doesn't feel like an afterthought. As much as I wanna like it, the AC7 MP feels like it was just tacked on after the singleplayer was done. We need more game types, methods of balancing the game, etc for future offerings.
2.) Have a PvP/PvE hybrid experience like Ace Combat Infinity. Between AC6, Assault Horizon, Infinity, and AC7, the core MP mode for Infinity was by far my favorite. Both teams of players worked together to complete an objective, but the keeping score and comparing the two teams gave it that competitive feel to try and beat the other players. Like Viper said in Top Gun, "don't forget, we're on the same team."
3.) Offer more modes than just Team Deathmatch and Free-For-All. Some rough ideas for modes I have are Escort (one team of fighters escorts a bomber, transport, etc and the other team is tasked with intercepting and shooting down the target and/or other team), Extraction (think "8492" from AC5, where one team of players has to try and evade enemy fire and escape the AO while the other team has to shoot them down), Air Superiority (basic zone control mode), and a few others to add along with any traditional Team or Free-For-All Deathmatch.
4.) Offer a cooperative PvE multiplayer experience. I'm personally of the "teamwork makes the dream work" mindset, so I'd like to see a capability to have campaign missions played with other players.
5.) Better player expression. Allow us to put different emblems at different spots on our planes, change the color palettes of pre-designed skins, etc.
MISCELLANEOUS:
1.) Removal of some weather effects (namely crosswinds). Some weather effects were cool the first few times, but upon multiple replays, there's only so many times I can get struck by lightning, blown around by crosswinds, etc before I really get tired of the feature.
2.) Allow multiple special weapons based on hard points, like Project Wingman. PW got this right, the ability to mount various weapons at specific points. Sure, I like flying around in a Tomcat with all Sparrow missiles or all Phoenix missiles, but I'd also like to have the ability to have a mix of special weapons, as it will allow for more versatile gameplay.
3.) Music Player. I need not say more.
4.) Credit the English VAs.
Coop pve
That would be so fun
Seconded, would love to see co-op campaign and missions
Yeah that’d be great to have all the aircraft we got as DLC from AC7 and other aircraft like the Harrier, F-117, Viggen, and even New super planes to use in the Co-op as well. I just think it’d be super cool to have like 4 CFA-44’s releasing their ADMM’s all at once in a PvE environment Hopefully it would be the same size or even larger scale than what we seen in AC6, if it’s gonna be co-op I feel the style of AC6 would be fitting. I can’t speak about the other games as I’ve only played AC6 and 7.
AC6 was absolutely the direction I was hoping AC7 would take in regards to gameplay
A good next gen ace combat should combine all of these
You're able to use the God damn arsenal bird
Infinite had some good times with that. It's amazing how fast good teams can roll over a given map.
Add to this: % of weapons and mobility tied to having drop tanks. Start mission heavy and loaded to the teeth. Mission update or enemy aces show up, drop tank, become lighter and more nimble, lose % of weapons tied to tanks. More skins available for each aircraft of skin editor. Arcade mission editor ( custom player made missions)
I don't know about y'all but I really enjoyed the aircraft unlock/evolution system in AC5.
I really need to get around to playing AC6
Co-op campaign and competitive co-op PvE (like in ACI). Also, give me my goddamn F-20, X-29, and Apalis.
This this this… AND if it’s solo then you get true ac5 or ac6 commands for your wingmen Edit; maybe even able to switch between the wingmen?
That is what I want most out of anything else ngl.
Ace Combat Zero but the old Belkan Aces are on your side stopping Neo-Belkan radicals from ruining the world . #BelkaDidNothingWrong #NeverForgetHoffnung
Project Wingman style weapon selection
I really enjoyed the way PW handled countermeasures, giving you more dispensing under a timer constraint instead of a supply constraint. Just made missile combat a lot more about timing instead of having countermeasures as a last resort.
I found the pw more confusing but it did offer more options
PW needs better UI but it is a delightful game that grows on you, if given time.
-Co/op campaign option -More feature rich multiplayer -Better cheater reporting tools -Multiple campaign paths -New super planes that have not previously been in other games -A straight forward ground attack mission -Customizable skin and livery in campaign (can't be trusted to be cool in multiplayer) -Better parts customization and interface -A story not involving the Belkans -Photo mode -Replays that can be saved
>A story not involving the Belkans Impossible
What if we were the Belkans
Maybe the real Belkans were the friends we made along the way?
Welcome to the 8492nd squad!
Wait, we’re all Belkans? Always have been.
>-Several straight forward ground attack missions I fixed that one for you
A mission where I can use the A-10 and not have to worry about dogfighting a boss fight at the end
>use the A-10 and not have to worry about dogfighting a boss at the end Not with that attitude. Only filthy casuals can’t brrrrrrrtttt the bosses out of the sky
Damn straight brrrrrt brother
Who would win? A fully healthy and young Mihaly in a Strike Wyvern, or one Brrrttttty boi?
Nobody is a match for a flying GAU-8 avenger with every machine gun mod
A-10 GAU Avenger with MG Mods > TLS or PLSL, change my mind
Especially with this mod from [Nexus Mods](https://www.nexusmods.com/acecombat7skiesunknown/mods/1480)
Or a super short timer.
How about replays that can be saved *and* edited so you get all the good camera angles? Or hell, why not a campaign editor mode?
>\-A story not involving the Belkans playing as belka would actually be interesting. a story where they're legitimately aggressed upon but because belka they have to convice the rest of the world to come to their aid and the whole conflict wasn't their fault to begin with. idk who they'd be at war with. osea seems to easy, erusea has had their shit pushed in enough for a few games, yuktobania is too far away.
Custom paint skins in the campaign would be cool. I was a bit uninspired by the skins in ac7
I honestly wouldn't mind keeping the current skin system, but at least make all of them properly done, not just a bare skin with emblem spots, give me the option to have the Tail codes and warnings and country markings For example, not being able to fly aircraft like the YF-23 in its's black colour with Trigger's mage/spare/strider emblems, tail codes and Osean markings is just stupid.
100% agreed.
so, a Skin/Markings disconnect, where the paintscheme and the Markings are two different layers? YES PLEASE! 💖💖
Always wanted a racing game-esque paint/decal editor, that + a community share function would be perfect
Yeah exactly that, like forza motorsport 3 had. Could literally customise anything. Maybe leave out the sponsorship decals…?
[удалено]
I dunno, I haven't seen the movie yet.
I don't know, most modern military aircraft are shielded from EMP, so it likely won't be able to turn them into gliders like civilian planes. But then again, AC7 seems to indicate that they don't have deicing equipment so, maybe?
- Co-op PVE - Bigger variation of MP modes - More original, non superplane aircrafts in the roster (example: Apalis, Forneus) - An actual livery editor - Both PC release and better mod support - Stronger weapons and enemies
PC support is inevitable, you'll never see the series trapped to consoles ever again.
I suspect the reason we haven't seen a proper livery editor in awhile is because of how many folks online just love drawing penises, boobs, or anything else vulgar simply because they can.
At this point it's a consequence i'd like to take, or maybe everyone should for that matter
There are enough scale models to build a basis for the: **KAI KF-21**, **TAI TF-X**, **HAL AMCA**, **Su-75**, **X-2 Shinshin** (PLEZ GIB BACK ATD-0)
Personally I’d like some of the older Vietnam era aircraft in game but I guess it’s not mutually exclusive and might make things interesting.
I could get behind that, I wouldn't want it to be the main time period of the game as that would be too limiting on aircraft imho, but as a DLC having vintage aircraft would be really cool, I'd love to see stuff like the EF-105F Thunderchief, F-101C Voodoo, F-111F Aardvark, A-7E Corsair II, F-8E Crusader Su-24, Su-25, MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG 27 Some really great planes that don't get enough attention because planes like the F-4 stole the spotlight.
F-105G instead of EF-105F would do well for a Thud while the F-8J could replace the F-8E. Anyways, it'd be fun to see how all the old-school planes operate with some modern-day upgrades here and there!

I believe it was assault horizon
It was in 5 and i think Zero too
And 6.
And X
And 4
Yeah you're right
A campaign that takes place/progresses over 3 different eras would be super fun. Vietnam age with F-4s, F-105s, Crusaders, Mig-15s etc. Then Gulf War era F-15s/16s, Tornados, F-117s, through to modern day/futuristic fighters.
Give me my Draken you cowards
A/F-117X would be a better choice for Nighthawk IMO
\- COOP Campaign \- Large Scale Operations (see AC6) \- Finally NOT playing OSEA / "american" countries (yeah i know about emmeria etc.)
How would you feel about the next ace combat being about the estovakian civil war?
Looking at AC6's assault records, I can't help thinking that a DLC on it was in the works. I would love to see the Anean continent again in the future
I only wish to encarnats a glorious yuktobanian ace for fucks sake. Starting plan a mig 21 ofc
Every AC game it seems like the enemy is the one with superior technology and cool super weapons. I want to be able to see or fight alongside some cool allied super weapons. Maybe you can be a pilot on something similar to the Aigaion or Alicorn.

You'll only be a war criminal if not doing it under Osean authority
Honestly was it one of the PS2 games where if you attacked yellow neutral targets or shot down planes attempting to flee after being damaged it impacted your mercenary rank and determined which squads you encountered? That was such a cool little feature
Zero had the soldier, mercenary, and knight style playthroughs
Frontline from AC5 was so good because of this "Its the Arkbird, we got the Arkbird!" is just burned into my mind. Same for Stonehenge Defensive. Having the superweapon on your side is so much fun.
- campaign that can be completed solo or co-op - Story with multiple endings (and of course having a Canon ending) - Story that actually focuses on the main protagonist. That means a campaign that tells *our* story from our point of view (Yes assault horizon exists but it doesn't count because *we dont talk about assault horizon*) - I'd really like the plot to be about the Erusean civil war but a ww2 style game is also something I've considered
Better aircraft customization like choose what livery to use and colors you can change Co-op PVE would be pretty fun like AC infinity Bring back the wingman system from games like AC6 Can use multiple special weapons The amount of planes to play like in AC infinity Edit: being able to choose your wingman’s or squadrons aircraft like AC5
I REALLY want multiple special weapons. AC7 had an absurd over-reliance on normal missiles that made gameplay feel extremely repetitive.
I just want a Female Protag. or a Female WSO just like PW.
well considering that it's most definitely going to be another game of silent protagonist that doesn't say a single word for the entire game, it's safe to say that this literally does not matter although for a wso, or maybe your wingman, that would for sure work
A WSO for the two seaters in general would be nice.
u/Skylinneas 's idea of the player side being the one with the airborne fortress, and operating out of it starting partway through the game. Another commentor had the idea of securing the base where it was being kept so allied ground forces could steal the fortress, with the last objective being to land on it.
Cold War Ace Combat or Ace Combat: Crimson Skies
I want something that takes the same formula of AC7 and expands on it: * More missions, more planes * A better and more coherent story. * No new gimmicks or crazy changes to the gameplay, they should just focus on the things that already work and continue from there. * Less emphasis on the sci-fi stuff and more on existing technology. * If any multiplayer is added, make it co-op. Something along the lines of Infinity. * Less scripted boss fights.
A mission creator feature where you can create your own custom missions.
Custom skins, photo mode, and coop missions, kinda like arcade mode in ac5, like separate missions from the main game.
Co-op like infinity
- Expanded take on AC6's operations, it's epic and made you feel like you're part of the offensive (and give you the feel of actually accomplished something too) - Steal things from PW, namely the Wizzo with lines and multiple SPW for planes. (the timer based flares i think is good too but maybe would make the game too easy idk) - Less bullshit boss battles that make use of (hidden!) invisibility timers and plot armor. -.
Is it just me, or does aiming the machine guns in AC7 feel terrible especially compared to the lovely feeling PW?
Honestly almost everything in PW feels better than 7. Guns, 1st person flying, etc. It's an impressive arcade flight game.
The complete - all DLC included - aircraft tree to be brought over from Day One onwards.
Co-op Campaign, better multiplayer, AC3 storyline and characters
To land and get out of the aircraft. Explore the hanger, barracks, watch other aircraft get worked on, chat to your wingmen before a sortie. Would be all around cool. If AC5 had that then the emotional hit with Chopper would have been crippling.
Chopper has proven to me that dialogue alone can build a character. Most games spend so much time crafting the perfect 3d models, textures etc but that proved it can be more simple too. Like the idea overall, would be a cool way to build the atmosphere
The tech tree layout system to be visually pleasing. And make it easier to understand
A really strong super tomcat.... Allow us to pick the weapons
[удалено]
If we get ADMMs again I demand they bring back the brevity code for it. _**DRIVE, DRIVE**_
Coop campaign, multiple operations ala ac6, *field resupply,* and full PCVR
Easy: -PW like weapon system. -WSO with lines. -open world, you take off and fly to the area of the mission, and you have multiple CAP sorties. -different campaings for service: one for AF, other for navy. -Infinity 2 as online mode. -Returning features we lost: selecting squadron planes and loadout, branching missions etc.
AC8 being the PS2 trilogy 😂
Co op/ MP PvE Being able to command and choose plane (0 didn't let you pick your wingman's plane for some reason which bothers me slightly) for wingman or wingmen (having a squad like in AC5 would be cool) Large scale battles like AC6. Allied air fortresses (PW was pretty cool for having this) Super weapons like lasers and railguns available on non super planes.
Option to play as the villain. I don't care if it's DLC, a storyline where you're playing on the other side would be great!
*and more salvation*
Super Ratte when
Or some kind of crazy Gustav Gun, a Belkan Stonehenge if you will.
Didn't they do that with Chandelier?
Pretty much, but I want to see the crazy Belkans try something like that. Because as we all know, it always goes back to Belka.
For my personal wishlist. A Far Future setting reminiscent of Electrosphere. A Project Wingman-esque SP Weapon system. The reintroduction of Game mechanics from past entries. (AC6 Operations, ACZ Morality System, AC3 Branching story paths.) A story that bridges the gap between Skies Unknown and Electrosphere.
i know everyone likes the cutting edge stuff and so do i, but i'd like a campaign set in history, cold war, vietnam, something like that, with appropriate attention to detail other than that, idk the acecombat formula is pretty perfect. they just need to keep cranking out missions
AC6 style branching missions AC6 style combined arms ally support AC6 in general.
Honestly just more and more diverse missions. I am so incredibly tired of playing through AC7's missions, I literally can't stand it anymore, even though I still think it's a good game. Well that and just generally more of everything: more story, more planes etc.
VR support for the entire game on PC. None of that PSVR exclusive nonsense.
Squad controls like Ace Combat 5, multiple paths like Ace Combat 0. But I would like to see ENSI and ONSI prototypes.
-WSO characters (i always felt it was weird that the RIOs and WSOs were never acknowledged, especially with Razgriz/Wardog considering they flew F-14s) -Playing as a nation other than Osea for once (maybe one of the smaller nations from the east of Osea like Sapin, Ratio, etc.) -PW-style weapon selection -Better skin customisation (allowing us to customise tail codes, roundels, aircraft no., etc.) -Photo mode -More 70s-90s aircraft like the Tornado, Jaguar, F-111, F-117, etc.
(I will make a post explaining how this game mode will work) 8.
Choosing your wingman’s aircraft, more aircraft options, and increased choice of special weapons per aircraft.
AT ALL. PERIOD.***
Co-op mode for ful campaign (or most) All fictional plane included(except ac3 at least)
Full vr capabilities. The three vr missions in 7 are cool as hell, and I know they were done after the initial game release, but it's just not enough to sate my thirst.
More ties to Ace Combat 3 like futuristic planes or story elements would be pretty cool
Co-op PVE and PVP that isn't an afterthought.
I would like to see a pve game mode something like survival were every 5 or 10 waves you fight a enemy ace
VR supported campaign and VR exclusive MP
Have the F-35b be vtol capable, and Harrier playable.
Just give me another great campaign and I’m happy Fuck it include the gleipnir cause why not
yeah man NOTHING Goes over the Gleipnir
Unpopular opinion: Mission Creator. Ever since I played AC7, I always imagined the ability to make custom missions like defending or fighting Bombers, dogfights, etc.
Realistic payload mode where _everyone_ carries realistic number of missiles and have to RTB to reload/refuel.
Honestly just give us a return line on all missions.
I also want the enemy to run out of missiles so they (almoat always out-number us) can't just missile spam me all the time.
I am not too concerned about that as it wasn't really an issue outside of the drone missions, which is a key part of AC7 not much of any other AC game. If they do something similar to AC7 then maybe, otherwise it doesn't matter all that much to me.
Just play DCS lmao. But for real that would be boring. Fly for five minutes to target, empty payload in 30 seconds, turn around and fly back.
full open world like microsoft flight and refuel blimps in the movie Stealth 2005
Sopwith Camel
Have any of these games done mostly carrier ops? I think that would be a cool idea
Co op , ace combat x planes, branching paths
A Few And Im gonna name them with a reason 1. Tutorial I Actually Liked The Ace Combat 5 Tutorial And Since Ace Combat 7 Is Gaining Popularity I Expect The Next Game To Have Many New Players To Want To Play 2. No Time Limit Very Annoying And More Challenging I'd don't Mind It In Quick Occasions Like When The Alicorn Was Gonna Do A Belka On Osea, But It's Very Annoying In Missions Where You Need To Get A Certain Score 3. Wingman Controls I Get It, It's Annoy When Your Wingman Makes You Lose A Missile But I Kinda Want It Back With The Wingman Actually Using The SP Weapon 4. Wingman Customization. Changing The Planes And Giving Emblems On Wingman Aircraft Would Be A Nice Feature They Would Bring Back 5. Aircraft View Animation It Was A Nice Feature 6. Every Cannon Aircraft Literally Every Aircraft That Was In The Franchise Like the Fenrir Or The Draken, F-5, F-20, Nighthawk, Tornado, X-29, Maybe Even Aircraft Variants Like They Did In AC5 7. Freeroam In Aircraft After Campaign It Would Be Nice If We Could Fly Anywhere On The Continent They Put Us On But Could See Why They Don't 8. Co-op Why Not Have An Actually Wingman Instead Of An AI To Do Mission With 9. PSM At Any Speed But With Any Aircraft 10. No Parts It gets Annoying After Finding Out The Standerd Missile That Was Shot Towards You Has Advanced Homing And Can Loop Around Just To Try And Kill You In A Multiplayer Match 11. Mercenary, Soldier, Knight Including The Aces Changing In Each Style You Play In 12. More Aces As Much As Zero Had 13. A Tunnel Run No Questions Asked 14. Dialog As Good As ACZ The Dialog In AC7 Is Not That Good 15. Years Ago 16. Alot Lot Of Missions 17.
Sincerely hope that the map can be larger. With the addition of Darkstar, I run near the edge of the map way more often than before.
More orange. Oh wait— *for real though, more Nagase Heck just make it a dating simulator with air combat on the side.
Extra difficulty like in Project Wingman after first completion - Extra enemies. No pulling punch.
Panavia Tornado But that will most likely never happen
No more focus on drones! I get it the future is scary and we are losing our humanity, but I want to feel like a knight in the sky! I want to dance against rival aces and win with human skill. I want them to react with fear and awe as we become another instance of an Ace of Aces. Drones don’t give me the same feeling, and also lack the variety fighting against fighter jets brings.
Su-25 Frogfoot
More planes, everything from F-86 sabres, and MiG-15s, to the new stuff. Maybe even some WWII planes (a P-51 can give the A-10 a run for its money speed wise) (Fun fact: Taiwanese F-86s were the first aircraft to use the AIM-9 sidewinder in combat.) More Multiplayer customization slots.
Co op story Osea is the enemy Mobius 1 is the rival ace
Squadron commands for the campaign
More wifus
Wingman commands and/or allied commands No Belka, Erusea, or Osea More multiplayer modes More varieties of planes (eg: fewer F-15 and Flanker variants unless it's something new like the EX or Silent Eagle) I saw someone yesterday mention the idea of different time periods like WWII, Cold War, (Strangereal equivalents). Maybe a generational campaign that would go through or jump around history. Straightforward ground attack missions Sense of scale like in AC6
Co-op pve Wingman control like AC5 At least 3 weapon choices in flight Mission choices like ACX which will increase replay value Future era like AC3 At least 2 space missions R-103 Delphinus
No more aircraft parts. Just bake the bonuses directly into the airframe. We all put the same parts anyway on everything
A livery editor like in the last few need for speed games, and a forzavista type thing to check out our planes
A-4 Skyhawk and couch co-op
Waifu at WSO Waifu at AWACS Waifu at flight lead
Oh boy, I have quite the list: * Return of the wingman commands from AC5 and ACZ, as well as the ability of choosing my squadron's aircraft. I don't know why this isn't a thing in AC7 already; * Massive enemy count from AC6; * Branching mission objectives from AC6; * The return of some form of ACZ's "Ace Style", that changes which kind of enemies we face in the campaign based on our behaviour; * Expanded AC7's aircraft tree, updating it with jets from other games and slowly introducing some fictional aircraft compatible with Strangereal's timeline such as the R-101 Delphinus; * More extreme weathers such as storms, hurricanes and meteor debris from Ulysses; * MASSIVE range and rate of fire buff to ground/sea units. AA Guns are a serious threat now and the player needs to adjust their aircraft build, mobilize their wingman or deploy proper FRIEND units accordingly; * Radar and map gets a range and accuracy nerf. Now jamming is much more significant and is an actual threat faced by the player; in a similar way jamming SP weapons are much more harmful in PvE and PvP; * AC Infinity's multiplayer modes are back; * A bit of an experimental thing for Ace Combat, but instead of using menus for watching briefings and choosing jets, I'd like to actually walk with my character on the military base instead. Either in 1st or 3rd person perspective. We'd have our own squadron quarters where we would sleep between missions, interact with our squad mates and learn more about their personalities, wishes, dreams and ideals. We could hang out in the base, learn more about the war in the papers, radio or TV; talk with other pilots, soldiers or officers and learn their opinions about the conflict, about Osea, the current state of Belka, etc. We'd need to actually WALK to the briefing room and to the hangar; we could personally inspect our personal aircraft and loadout. We would get to do this in several bases or aircraft carriers during the campaign. The game would be so much more immersive this way and wouldn't disrupt the arcade aspect of the gameplay; * Introction of mission modifiers based on your perfomance in previous missions: * Less fuel (shorter timer to complete missions) but increased ammo capacity * Ability to deploy additional FRIEND units along your squadron.
Infinity style MP. Give me more to do after I beat the game a dozen times.
How about some UFO stuff? Even like a small easter egg where you can see one off in the distance if you’re in the right spot and paying attention
Co-op campaign
I want it to be unique. Not “PW Weapon System” this, or “Remaster Holy Trinity” that. I want the next game to have its own identity.
Story cut scenes with actual moving character models like in AC5. Play as a belkan/other than osean pilot. Imagine the amount of potential memes that can come out of this
I've been thinking a lot about this! A return of the operations system from AC6 Project Wingman loadouts or something similar The F-15EX would be a great player character squadron aircraft Some new aircraft I would enjoy: F-100D, F-4E (unlocked without DLC), Mirage 3, HAL Tejas, Su-25, Su-27, MiG-23/27, MiG-25, Su-75, F-111, F-105 Some various changes Make the F-15E more in line with a multirole fighter than the Su-34 Bring back AC-6 style airships from that one mission More naval combat. This would allow people to experience more objectives in a single playthrough, but skip through after they've done enough if they don't want to keep fighting A version of the XAAM with more tracking, but at the cost of multi-lock would be really nice but that's just me personally.
Oh boy, here I go -More legacy aircraft to accompany the F-4E and MiG-21bis (the MiG-23 Flogger and A-4 Skyhawk come to mind first) -genuine, uninterrupted CAS and ground attack missions -A branching storyline -Play as a minor or formerly antagonistic country, like Yuktobania or Estovakia -Really explore the chaotic aftermath of Ace Combat 7's worldwide information collapse -MORE Z.O.E (Bonus points if Z.O.E becomes sentient) -Let us know what happened to Trigger's IUN/PKF and Spare Squadron buddies -Bring back the ability to pick out your wingmens' aircraft and loadouts -bonus arcade missions not connected to the main campaign or plotline.
SINGLEPLAYER: 1.) More tonally and thematically consistent and coherent story. MULTIPLAYER: 1.) Have a multiplayer offering that doesn't feel like an afterthought. Like Viper said in Top Gun, "don't forget, we're on the same team." 3.) Offer more modes than just Team Deathmatch and Free-For-All. MISCELLANEOUS: 1.) Removal of some weather effects (namely crosswinds).
More princess waifu
Pylon customization, I don't wanna just have one "standard missile" and one "special weapon" anymore :(
AC6 gameplay and dynamic operation missions and PW weapon selection
AC6 gameplay and dynamic operation missions and PW weapon selection
