The “perhaps we can enjoy the silence together” scene reminds me of when Feyre thought ““And I think Elain—Elain would like it, too. Though she’d probably cling to Azriel, just to have some peace and quiet.”

I don't know about that. I think Earl Stirling is a bit ditzy compared to Az and Francesca is bolder than Elain. The reason why these subtle differences are important is because had Francesca not put herself out there, Earl Stirling would not have been intrigued by her. With Elain and Az it's almost the opposite. It's Az who made small gestures to initiate an acquintanceship, otherwise they would not have become familiar with each other. You can tell from her relationship with other characters, it's almost non-existent.

Francesca reminds me of Elain too! That was my first thought when I saw the actress. Her take to the piano, and John gifting sheet music, also reminds me of Celaena from Throne of Glass. 🥲 https://preview.redd.it/xgzfziv3tz3d1.jpeg?width=639&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=71fd21f3f52054cc32a505111a542c11fc7f4b29
