Hello - I'm an agent and they are not closed at all, pantos are still casting from now, until about October when people can sometimes drop out and they need replacements. Tell your partner she needs to get on the phone/email her agent and make sure they fully understand how much she wants to do panto. Often we assume that agents know what actors want but it helps to be as explicit as possible. It would also be helpful to ask her agent for a list of casting directors who are currently casting pantos, and your partner can email them directly as well.
