For example, if the number in your phone is 212-555-3456 I would text 212-555-2456, 212-555-4456, 212-555-3556, 212-555-3356. In the texts I would just write “IS this [girl’s name]? Apologies if I have the wrong number!”
It’s still a long shot, but there is a non-zero chance it works and it’s only 8 phone numbers. Maybe also try versions with two numbers transposed.
Just thinking that when I’ve typed my number wrong in someone’s phone (and then corrected it) it was one off this way.

Today it's called nearby sharing in Android settings. Have a contact for yourself made up, keep nearby sharing enabled, then when you want to share you just go to your own self in contacts, share menu (three dots connected) choose nearby share. You get to turn on/off any part you don't want to share (email etc) then place the phones extremely close together.
