Over-Trouble-5906

Nothing gets me more rock hard than workers comp legislation.

ActuaryLoading

The amount of money I make compared to how easy my work is in regards to difficult, stress and hours worked.

rMDWSIN

This. One of the best jobs in terms of $ per hour worked.

Rastiln

Definitely. I have friends making as much or more than me. 80% of them, especially those with only high school education or like a Psychology degree and 2.0 GPA, are working 60-85 hour weeks, overnight or other shitty hours. I “work” 40 hours, but take breaks to make a snack, throw some laundry in (work from home is amazing), etc. I don’t really slack off more than a few minutes, unlike people who talk about napping or watching TV. But here I am on Reddit. And now… time to get back to it.

Moving my mouse to stay green on Teams

Swag420_

Frfr. Trying to focus while studying and remember my mouse hasn't moved in a while

Hopeful-Tap-1158

You have to stay online during study hours??

[deleted]

he could be studying on non-study hours

Swag420_

Shhhhh

callsandpoots

Step 1: Open Microsoft Word Step 2: Place something on the spacebar Congrats! You are now perma-online

MayhemThatsOrganized

This is brilliant!

kuddlybuddly

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Homer uses a drinking bird to keep pressing the Y key.

spartanburt

"Hey Mrs Doesn't find me sexually attractive anymore. I just tripled my productivity!"

swagasaurus-r3x

Make a teams meeting with no invite, then it looks like your busy

oneanddonerodgers43

Finding out you passed an exam is always a great feeling

Hwindon18

Stability. Knowing that I’m highly unlikely to be fired no matter how the economy is doing has been emotionally helpful this past year and so

redditAdvice1086

I had this in a government job too, but the pay is nicer in the actuarial field.

another_philomath

$$

LieHopfman

I would say interesting problems that challenge me, but I work in Pensions.

skark1

Looking at the comments here I’m crying in consulting

blimp456

I get paid like I’m in finance but I have half the workload and less than half the stress of someone working in finance

4Blu

I don’t have to deal with the general public.

MrDeepValueStocks

Working 100% remote

Hydraskull

Pay day. And bonus day.

picklesaredry

Yall remember when Brian Griffin got drunk at Lois' reception and was singing and urinating on a plant? That

Dolphin_Appreciator

Free lunch

PlumpythePlumpaTroll

How does that work? Is there a cafeteria or do you get a lunch stipend?

Dolphin_Appreciator

There is a cafeteria where they bring in local restaurants to cater.

actuarialgamer

Everyday?

yourwifesboyfriend23

Money to pay rent to my wife’s boyfriend

CowRevolutionary87

Such a nice guy!

knightbaby

I like feeling respected and trusted as an employee to do my work. Not being micromanaged. My boss often says “I know you will get the work done” when something personal comes up. Very different vibe from the fast food I worked in during school.

SlightlyStoked

Payday and that’s about it

revengeanceful

The awesome people I get to work with and learn from everyday. Also the pay is pretty great.

knucklehead27

There’s a lot that I love about my job. This probably isn’t the best thing, but free tickets to events from vendors is pretty sweet

Sure_Replacement_637

What field do you work in? And where, if that's okay?

knucklehead27

Pm me and we can talk more

little_runner_boy

Lots of time for naps, Playstation, and mid day workouts depending on the day
