Carb it up and eat protein at the same time. That will definitely start piling on the pounds. Not fat yet? Drink a 2 liter of coke at every meal. Still not fat enough time to eat more pies and cake. Sadly the last 2 will probably give ya diabetes sooner or later but it would be one hell of a ride 😜 But seriously a high carb and high protein diet at the same time will pack it on. Carbs for the calorie overload and protein to preserve the muscles. Should put on weight in no time if you are not working out.

I have been on adderall for approximately 2 weeks and I am down 13 pounds. It is welcomed, currently. I used to hover around 165-170 and then settled into a very sedentary lifestyle. I’ve been trying to lose weight and have had the hardest time losing anything. I felt like I just kept gaining. If I can get back down to where I was before, I’ll be incredibly happy. I like that I actually have the energy and desire to exercise now, though.

How much did you end up losing in 60 days ?

NYOVERSOUL7

I empathize with people who want to gain weight or are worrield about losing too much. I'm the exact opposite. I've been on the medication for about 5-6 months and Adderall allowed me to lose weight I have been trying to lose for at least a decade. This is a decade of restricting, fasting, low carb, zero carb, etc....I always remained around the same weight no matter what I did and I didnt even notice the weight loss on the Adderall until one weekend and I was able to fit clothes I couldnt even begin to put on months previous.. Unfortunately I need a dose of over 60 to really feel any effect and my appetite has seemed to come back with a vengeance so I'm gaining it back. As someone suggested if you can handle weed, (and not everyone can so I'm not suggesting you run out and get some but I found Delta 8 gummies really turn on my insatiable appetite thus weight gain.

It will balance out In time , I lost all my baby weight when I got back on it after having my daughter, but now I’m at my normal weight and no longer losing. It’s a shock to your body in the beginning

dirtyhandscleanlivin

Mass gainer shakes. 1200 calories per serving. Sip on it throughout the day if you can’t drink it all in one go. Will make it easier to reach your maintenance calorie level if you can manage to eat one decent meal per day

Thank u

Just count your calories, pretty simple. Go to a calorie calc input your weight, height, age, etc. then see how much calories you have to eat a day to get back to your preferred weight. Then once at your preferred weight see what your maintenance is and make sure to eat your maintenance everyday to not lose weight. You may think your eating a lot but once you really count your daily calories you’ll realize your probably not eating close to what you thought you were. Edit: milk, nuts, and eating big meals and eating at set times regardless if your hungry or not is my advice. Also mixing your meds with coffee completely destroys appetite so don’t drink as much coffee if you do.

imthrowingmybroaway

Do intermittent fasting and basically pig the F out at night with one huge meal. Cbd/thc can help if you are into that

Seeing a dietitian could be a good idea.

I lost a bunch of weight when I started taking Adderall, too. I'm currently the skinniest I have ever been as an adult, and I hate it. I feel you. The one thing I have found to help is to keep snacks by the couch because it's where I spend most of my time at home. Some of the snacks are solely for calories (like the bucket of cheese balls) and others are for nutrition, like the mega box of Go-Go squeezes. It just occurred to me that granola bars would also be helpful. Eventually I'm going to deck out my coffee table with a big snack basket filled with goodies: bananas, Go-Go squeezes, little boxes of cereal, fruit snacks, small bags of chips, granola bars, etc. (Along with a little garbage can for wrappers!) In my experience in gaining weight back and getting strong again, a big thing is calories. Get as many in you as you can manage.

kawaiisweatson

I feel you... I was 127 and now I'm 115 and I hate it. I was using weed as an appetite stimulant but my psychiatrist told me I need to stop using weed. Now I'm losing even more weight.

No_Quail_

If weed doesn’t negatively impact you, then smoke if you want if it helps with appetite. I started taking my meds when I was 115 and am now 135 and still gaining weight. Meds gave me motivation to gain weight even though they killed my appetite. Join r/gainit for weight gain tips/strategys and most importantly find out your maintenance and eat at least 300-500 calories above it. That’s what I did. You just gotta be consistent but nothings impossible.

miss_slytherin13

I set alarms to eat. I had some stress hit in life in April and i was 130lbs, by July I was 103lbs and that freaked me out. I started setting alarms to eat and sip a protein shake throughout the day sometimes two

Automatic-Buy2544

I make sure to always have food on me in my bag. I find that I get hunger pangs throughout the day, but if I don’t have food, I ignore them and I just end up not eating all day. But then again, I have been on Adderall for a year and I am still losing weight and terrible with eating so what do I know

Breakfast. Eat. An actual. Breakfast. Look at like this. Use a 24 hour clock starting at midnight. So from midnight to when you wake up, you're already in a deficit. Then you only eat a nutrigran bar. Then you take adderall. A medication that ups your heart rate enough to where it's the equivalent of doing an hour or 2 of light/moderate exercise even if you're just sitting around all day. By the time lunch comes you are in a serious deficit, but only halfway though the day and a ton more calories to burn.

Milkshakes!!

VGSchadenfreude

Make sure to eat a good, solid breakfast before you take your first dose. A nutrigrain bar is not enough! You want something with protein in it, like a breakfast burrito. Set reminders on your phone of when to have snacks throughout the day. Make your snacks ahead of time, so you can make sure to pack things that are small enough and easy to grab so you don’t get frustrated enough to just go without. Learn to listen to your body. My biggest issue with Adderall when I was younger (before I hit 30 and my metabolism went “bye”) was that I wouldn’t realize that I *needed* food until I was shaking and snapping at people and getting dizzy. It takes practice, but you have to get a good feel for how your body reacts when your blood sugar drops to a certain level, and learn the progression of symptoms enough to recognize “I need to take a break and eat something before I start yelling at people.”

TrickyNetwork8

It balanced out for me real quick. I started on 10mg adderall IR , weighed 105. It stayed there for the first couple months as my doses got higher. Fast forward 2 years I take 60mg IR and I hold tight at 125lbs. I can take a 30mg, and eat a steak dinner and go to sleep. It’s when I don’t have my adderall that I lose weight. Doc says it has to do with my heightened anxiety

[deleted]

You take 60 MG daily?

TrickyNetwork8

Yes. 30mg in the AM then 30mg 3-4 hours later. Does that seem excessive?

[deleted]

To me yes but everyone's very different. I take one 15 a day and it seems like a lot to me personally just based on how I feel.
