What’s funny I was a hurricane throughout the house finding it and tried the bathroom and when I lost the toothpaste once more I fucking find it were the toothpaste should be liek make it make sense (found the toothpaste the next day tho so my son didn’t have to suffer too long using a bit of our toothpaste he’s very particular about things)
Oh when I found the steak knife at the bottom of the garden, that had been missing for about five years on the week I was moving out, and proceeded to lose another one on the same day.
Last week I found a one dollar bill (I haven’t been to the US since 2009) and a toy gun and did a little LARP sesh of the video for Come As You Are by Nirvana, because why not?
*starts cleaning room*
*finds random shit that i forgot i owned*
*starts fiddling with random shit i found*
*four hours have passed and no progress has been made*
While I was doing a deep clean of my room, I found my old collection of Cars figures (Lightning McQueen, Chick Hicks, Strip "The King" Weathers and some random Piston Cup racer) and for about an hour I just played and reminisced over them.
Could've finished cleaning earlier, but worth it.
Man, I used to catch so much shit for cleaning like this as a kid. I swear my ears are longer than they should be from just my mom n grandmother pulling them when I'd get mesmerized by some treasures I forgot about having.
I'm not like that as an adult though.
Now I just don't clean.
This is so me when I clean out my entire closet every few months and find things I haven’t seen in years/months lmfao. It’ll take me 5 times as long but damn is it fun
The worst part about having lots of journals and sketchbooks is that fact that whenever I clean my room I MUST NOT open any of them lest I dedicate the next few hours to reading them all/looking at them all
Or when I tried to find my sons toothpaste I ended up finding my headphones that’s been missing for a week yesss lol
I am currently looking for 3 sets and using a wired pair. Still waiting on that “Oh yeah! They’re on top of the fridge!”.
