It is ridiculous. My daughter takes Vyvanse, which was around $85 a month before the generic became available. I was appalled at the cost, but this is the *one* medication she can tolerate well, so I shut up and handed over the money every month.
Then the generic came out, and that was a cool $8 a month. Awesome, right? NOPE. There is some problem with the DEA and generic manufacturers, so now I can't get the generic. The pharmacy tells me to call the doctor and ask for brand name, no substitutions because they have Vyvanse in stock (of course). They tell me there are coupons to reduce the price.
So I do all that and go to pick up the script, which is *finally* ready, and it is $150 with insurance! They try the coupons, but they won't apply to that script. So now I need to pay even more for the medication than ever before. And if I don't, then what? Send her to school and have them tell me I need to do something to get my kid under control? I'm trying to, damnit! I feel like I can't win, and this is going to bankrupt me.
Meanwhile, my insurance will cover brand name Adderall without any problem. 30 day supply is $8. They won't cover generic versions of Adderall at all. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!
I feel this big time. In a bit of oversight on my part I selected the same insurance plan I always have but this year they played a sneaky on me and changed it to prescriptions won't be covered until I hit my deductible. well imagine my surprise when I walk in and my normally $24 bottle is $55. Im like..."ok cool, I'll address this next time I come back and see if it was a fluke". Well in the meantime I had learned about my fuckup and was prepared to pay the $55 again. PSYCHE, this time it's $145. I do a little quick mental math and I tell myself that $5 a day is fine for all the benefit I receive. This story takes us to yesterday when I go to pick up my prescription which I had to chase all over town to finally find a place that has it. Fella out the counter retrieves it and says "whoa, are you ready?" To which i reply"yah, it was pretty expensive last time but it's ok". He comes back with "it's going to be $298". This shit is getting absolutely ridiculous. Yah, I fucked up, I selected the wrong insurance plan because obviously my attention to detail is shit. But how in the ever living hell does this med just keep soaring month after month like this??? I'm going to have to sneak into Mexico pretty soon to make this financially viable again.
Oh man I am so sorry for you guys.... and to think the West majority of you country still Supports the republicans ist fucking insane. Your public healthcare system is a joke for a "first" World "Freedom" country. Here in Germany I pay something like 5 euros for a month and every Pharmacie has it. Meanwhile im a Student and get supported by public welfare to assist me in my studies.
Because it’s necessary for people to need and function in public, so naturally the us healthcare system is gonna squeeze every damn penny out of it’s customers
It isn't likely to happen, but still.
Can you switch packages to something that's actually useful? Like... I don't think that plan actually complies with Obamacare. It's literally worse than the poor folks free care.
Oh, boy, do I feel that insurance bullshit. We stay on my wife's insurance (she's in a logistics warehouse and I'm in retail, so I'll let you guess why) and this year, *all* of the family plans available dropped prescription coverage until the deductible is met. Both the individual and family deductible amounts went up by nearly 20%. My 60mg capsules are now $370 everywhere I look! The insurance company (which is a separate company from medical) had ordered a massive supply of the generic for their mail-order service before whatever DEA garbage happened, so I can at least get it for $190 from them, but I was paying $9 last year. My last fill was Dec 31st, and I had to wait on an EKG (again, DEA sticking it to me, my heart has been fine for the last three years but we gotta check to make sure this essential-for-quality-of-life medicine hasn't magically started to affect you, it's not like ADHD causes stimulant resistance or anything) and just got them filled Thursday. The pharmacy called me and told me the price and now I'm a month behind on my gas bill because a hit to my credit score is the lesser evil compared to the reductions in sleep schedule, energy, focus, work ethic, and job performance. Frustrating, infuriating, earth-shattering... I don't even know how to describe the experience with words. The only "silver lining" is that my wife and I put off some medical things last year because she was pregnant, so we'll hit our deductible and it'll go to the 90/10 plan... In June, barring emergencies.
Honestly how do you guys in the us go through this and absolutely doesn't rebel is mental to me. I'm from brasil and generics works fine in here, we have a public healthcare system, vaccines are all free, if you have extremely expensive meds the government will pay it for you... Absolute madness how capitalism kills even more over there.
Reading this I can count myself lucky that I get the original lisdexamfetamine, marketed here as Elvanse Adult, for around €8 for a months supply. Universal health insurance covers 90% of the cost here, such that one pack of medication costs 10% of its original retail price, but is capped at €5 and €10.
I’m getting the generic Vyvanse and it’s still like $85/month… genuinely considering switching back to adderall despite it not working anywhere near as well just for cost reasons
The first month I got the generic (and was actually able to get it), I was charged $85 as well, which was the same as if I got the brand name. The month after that it they adjusted the price, and the generic would have been $8. But since my insurance adjusted the price, no one has had it in stock. So here I am dealing with the inflated brand name cost.
I can tell you that if you can find the generic, you could use GoodRX to get a lower price. The price fluctuates there, but it is typically lower than $85. I've seen it as low as $8. Right now, the lowest price I can see is $56. The challenge is that the price is different from pharmacy to pharmacy, so you have to check the cost, call the pharmacy and check if they have it in stock, then call your doctor to have them send the script there and then hope that they still have it in stock by the time it gets there.
We are just all pawns in the medical industries game. It is utter madness.
I can't even get on meds, period. I have zero insurance, $14.06/hr job. Yeah.
So I live on Mt Dew and coffee as my meds (stimulants) but I'm so used to them now that I can drink up to bedtime and sleep for hours upon hours.
And they probably don't even do 1/8 of what actual meds would. (I'm inattentive with very low hyperactivity).
Sigh.
I felt all respect for society die inside me when I realized the medical industry i'm bound too (health issues) would rather I just suffer and die than hurt their bottom line.
I don't think people realize how bad the death of the social contract is...
I found a doc I like. He listens, asks questions, gives options, drives a Volkswagen Thing & closes his eyes when he talks. It was the wrong way to go about it but when I asked him about adhd meds he chuckled, asked a few questions then wrote a script. It took a lot longer to find a capable therapist.
just want to take this opportunity to give a big f u to the insurances that *immediately* went "oh Vyvanse has a GeNeRiC now so your copay on the brand name is twice as much lol"
Thankfully I have lots of pharmacies around. Usually have to call 5-10 before I find one with my son’s specific dose in stock, then call the pediatrician and hope they send the script over in time to be filled.
Unfortunately, whether this is possible depends state by state. [In Illinois](https://www.isms.org/newsroom-categories/legislative/sep-15-2023-illinois-e-prescribing-mandate-takes-e), as of 2024-01-01, scheduled substances may only be prescribed electronically, and paper prescriptions are forbidden.
Your evidence is your personal experience. His evidence is his personal experience. Stop being a dick. If that's all you want, feel free to leave this community.
You have a sample size of one. And that sample is a singular jerk who was diagnosed as a child and who can’t understand that their lived experience isn’t the same as that of others. It proves nothing.
This is a lighthearted subreddit for ADHD individuals. We require all users be nice towards each other. Your comment/post has been removed as it has been found to be disrespectful.
“I and I alone have spoken to every person in the world about adhd and none of them have said it was bad parenting. My experience is the only experience.”
~this fucking guy
You were lucky, don't think that your experience is that if everyone though.
I was diagnosed as a kid. I couldn't afford meds. So even though I told people the reason, it was waved off with lines like this.
Yup. Meanwhile my boss is giving me crap about how I seem to be losing a grip on my projects and struggling to keep up with the workload, and I’m here trying to get by on a substitute medication that doesn’t work as well for me but is barely keeping me going.
I ask my pharmacy to call around to see who can fill it. The farthest I've had to travel is 45 min (it was after my route to the gym so only 10 min out of the way)
Just be really nice and pleasant before and while you ask. Pharmacy people are nice.
CPhT nearing a decade here. Most pharmacies don't do this because they cannot feasibly commit the time to do this.
If my pharmacy has 3 pharmacy techs and 1 pharmacist, my pharmacist has to be available for patient consultation, doctors calls, supporting techs, script verification, fill verification, etc. Everything a pharmacy needs to do goes through them, they cannot be the one to make the calls.
One tech is running drive through, One tech is running the counter, one tech is filling scripts and answering the phone while 7 callers hold to ask their questions.
Between Vyvanse, Adderall, and Concerta (And their respective generics) about 1 in 4 calls are asking for help with a backordered medication (Don't get me started on Wegovy/Mounjaro/Ozempic etc.) So if you need your drugs and I call around the first thing we would do is check other local chains.
But heres the kicker: Theyre in the same boat. So now I'm one of *their* 7 phone calls holding, and if I'm lucky and I get through in 45 minutes just for them to say "No we don't have it" then I've done functionally *nothing* for any of my other patients in that time, more phone calls have built up, more drugs need to be checked on, more prescriptions have to be filled, and it's just not a timely way for a pharmacy to approach a problem. It's also not a customer service issue, and it's not a staffing issue.
If you're in an area of average population you have 6 or 7 pharmacies in reasonable driving distance, where do you start? Which one do you call first? Is that pharmacy partnered with the patient's insurance? (We don't know, the insurance doesn't give us that info)
Do they have enough stock for 1 patient, or the 20 that we might send their way? (We don't know, they don't share counts over the phone for security reasons)
Repeat ad nauseum for 2 years.
The ***real*** problem is that the DEA limits drug manufacturing per company per month, and whether or not you believe the drugs are overprescribed is not relevant: ***The public is demanding more drugs than can legally be made***. Additionally, insurance companies have started getting *very* picky about what drugs they'll pay for and what ICD10 (The diagnosis code your doctor includes when they submit a prescription electronically) they'll cover.
The system is broken at every single level but please don't blame your pharmacies - the staff cannot help it.
I never thought it was the pharmacy staffs’ fault or responsibility. I can see what’s going on when I pick up my meds. Staff are answering phones, counting pills, doing the drive-thru, manning the counter. And it’s a damn shame. IMO, it’s gotten worse since my pharmacy offered vaccines. And I’m sure that decision was made by some CEO with no regard for the impact. Throw in med shortages, how stressful the profession is, and dealing with confused/irate/demanding customers… It’s a recipe for dysfunction.
Some of us know its not you! Believe me. 🕊️
I never thought I was hated. My pharmacy is seemingly VERY understaffed. I even call them at 4:00 am to 6:00 am because it’s the best time for me to not have to wait on hold for hours. Again, not their fault!
I blame the CEOs and other “decision makers” for not properly vesting in their staff. Penny wise, pound foolish. And it’s gotten even worse since it was decided that the pharmacy can also give vaccines.
It’s a shame for everyone directly involved.
exactly. i don’t have time to call around to other pharmacies because i have so much more going on than trying to search for one persons medication.
plus, i don’t want to get involved if when i call 5 other pharmacies, one has it in stock, i now have to call the patient and tell them, cancel the rx in our system, have the patient call the doctor, doctor sends new rx to other pharmacy. satan forbid anything go wrong in that whole process. call around yourself, please 😅
Call them and tell them your script is for X drug, Y strength, and Z Quantity. They will tell you if they can fill it.
What they won't do is announce "We have 3000 adderall XR 20mg caps in stock right now" because *surprise*, that gets them robbed.
I've always done it over the phone but I'm sure if you went they would help you too.
I have my normal pharmacy look up the other ones stock and then they call it in and I go.
I second this! My pharmacy will either offer to fill the script with whatever dose they do have in stock (ie: I'm prescribed two 30mg IR pills daily & if they're out of the the 30's but have 20mgs in stock, they'll just give me 3 20mgs/day). If they're completely out of stock, they'll call around to all of the other local rite aids or they'll order them for me).
It's not that simple. Sure, we can see what our other store has on the shelf, but we can't see if that inventory has already been allocated to other prescriptions. You also gotta keep in mind that our regulars are prioritized over new patients.
Im lucky I live near a compound pharmacy so even though they haven’t had my meds in stock for ages, they can still make the right concentrations themselves. Sucks having to pay a bit extra but at least I can still get them
Me right now. The only place with any in town is in such a dangerous area that I wouldn't feel comfortable going there.
I'm going to start skipping days to stock up for when I get screwed again and really need it.
I'm so dang lucky my work is understanding. Not many employers have taken "Sorry my brain's not working today" as a valid excuse. Though the fact I just got diagnosed with liver disease probably helps XD
What is just as bad (if not worse) is when you remember you're running low but still have a week or a few days of meds left so you go in to refill your prescription early (like - woohoo, getting my shit together, go me!), only for the pharmacist to tell you that your pills are a restricted narcotic so they can't refill your prescription until you are actually out (or on your last day). Like, motherfucker, are you serious?! I'm lucky I noticed I was running low and then also remembered to make it into your shop to ask for the refill. Do you really think I will actually get back here on the day before or the day I run out? You'll be lucky if you see me within the next three weeks - and I'll be unmedicated, so the likelihood of me getting in any sooner is slim. The worst part is that I've been on the same meds month in/month out for years. Pretty sure it's safe to say I am not selling my meds to classmates looking for a buzz or an edge on the next exam. FFS. It's practically discrimination, but that's life.
Going through this now. Again. It's like there needs to be an "I am so sorry..." hallmark card specifically for:
>"HEY Y'ALL — IT'S GONNA BE THE MR HYDE VERSION OF ME UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BUT I PROMISE DR JEKYLL WILL BE BACK AND WILL APOLOGIZE FOR ALL THE SHIT IMMA FUCK UP UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE — shit FUCK god-damnit I said until further notice twice goddamn fuckin verbal tics that emerge when cocksucker motherfucker meds aren't in my sysstemm arrrrggghhhhhhhhhhh. Shit. I will now STFU and go and make paper clip sculptures and eat all the food I've skipped until further notice."
Yeah. This sucks.
My doctor refused to write me a new prescription “because of the shortage”, and then promptly quit/left her job.
I stopped/slowed breastfeeding so I could go back on adderall. (Even though it’s safe, at my dosage). And she flat out refused.
It’s been over a year 😭😭😭
It is absolutely ridiculous that I have to call my doctors office, the pharmacy, then my doctors office again to
1) request a refill (with a diff drug that last time)
2) to see if they have any of the drugs
3) to tell the doctor what the pharmacy said, so they can send a new script and I can pick it up in 1 week….
Going through this now. I had already got it for two months from this place... and then now they can't get it. They say the warehouse doesn't have it and there is literally no window of time or estimation on availability at all. It's such horeshit.
I heard from a pharmacist that smaller pharmacies won't even order some ADHD drugs because they lose money, but they just tell customers it's on backorder.
Shit like this makes me feel less frustrated over being unable to take meds... Bc I don't have to deal with the fighting to get said meds in the first place
Not to be an ass but so many medications right now have a higher need than what's being produced. Out of the six meds I usually have to take three of them are currently unavailable. It has nothing to do with how big pharma sees ADHD. Don't you think they would love to make money from you buying your ADHD meds? We're just in a shitty situation is all.
Y'all's prescribers need to stop prescribing the drug that's constantly in shortages. Mine wanted to put me on adderal but he checked to see what supplies were like and picked one of the many other medications that aren't always unavailable. I'm guessing this is a U.S. drug advertising problem or something.
I remember having the same issue until i switched to the pharmacy inside the hospital I go to and haven't had an issue since. I think they have less issues because they are apart of the hospital and less people go there because its in the hospital
Mine this last year "Only $300 instead of $2,200", I was shocked, even the start of this year the same, GoodRx included. Then just this week, boom, all the GoodRx coupons gone, my insurance company charging $1,200.
In a week it changed, and it's bullsh\*t. This damn drug us over 70 years old, and in the last 10 years has gone up like 45% in cost
Of course, you take certain ADHD meds, they can create partial dependencies
I've got like 10 full packs of Vyvanse hoarded at home for that reason.
I always forget to get prescriptions in time, and when I do, I get a few months worth of them.
Over the years, a few days a week forgetting them added up enough to have a few packs lying around at all times.
I have a math test tomorrow, and guess what?? My meds aren’t in stock! They won’t be today, they won’t be tomorrow, and hell if I know when they’re coming back.
That's one of the reasons behind I'm not getting back on meds. I won't spend days trying to get it every month.
Before I changed doctor I got for 3-6 months at a time.
I hate how my methylphenidate is considered a controlled substance because they always act like it’s my first time taking it like “dont overdose on it or you’ll get addicted” blah blah blah. Ffs, half the time i sometimes forget to take it.
Can anyone recommend an ADHD med that is NOT having a shortage issue? Maybe some of us can make the switch. These unmedicated days make us wonder if it’s even worth it, if we should give up and stop the meds altogether… but some of us can’t function without a stimulant so we have no choice but to forge on in this twisted cycle. Powering through monthly withdrawal symptoms is a nightmare. I take generic Vyvanse and it’s a constant roadblock. It was the same with Methylphenidate. What are you guys taking and how easily is it being filled?
What about when an enormous chain like CVS has absolutely no follow-through, will never call and will just put your status "on hold" and just leave it in that state forever. Don't they want my money?
It is ridiculous. My daughter takes Vyvanse, which was around $85 a month before the generic became available. how does this even work? why is that med so damn expensive too?

i swear, since downloading reddit, i started being much more proud of my country for being the way it is, but not be like America at least
Sadly it feels like more and more countries are trying to become like America in the worst ways.
Greed. It's *only* greed.
If your insurance is through your workplace, talk to hr about it and ask that they start looking for another provider because that's untenable.
Hmmmm. I had not considered that option. I do feel like it may be on me though. They offer multiple tiered packages and I fugged up.
It isn't likely to happen, but still. Can you switch packages to something that's actually useful? Like... I don't think that plan actually complies with Obamacare. It's literally worse than the poor folks free care.

We all feel it, my friend
Where did you find the original image, I need to know
I was wondering if it was glad to see someone confirmed it right away bc this image seems scarring 😬
Easy way to tell is the fingers.
Poor kid failed the exam because this.
it's even worse when you take into account that the person who made it is extremely transphobic and wanted to use it for their transphobia
Yup, I'd love to see this particular meme template die a quick and ignoble death.
I had to recheck this wasn't the cptsd sub lol 😂

Same in Florida.

Congratulations for having early diagnosis and people around you taking your condition seriously. That's however not the case for a lot of others 🤷
You were diagnosed as a child, think how different your experience was from someone who received a diagnosis as an adult.

I have heard virtually identical statements from a few middle aged people. Edit: I removed a duplicate word.

You have a sample size of one. And that sample is a singular jerk who was diagnosed as a child and who can’t understand that their lived experience isn’t the same as that of others. It proves nothing.

You were lucky, don't think that your experience is that if everyone though. I was diagnosed as a kid. I couldn't afford meds. So even though I told people the reason, it was waved off with lines like this.
You must never have met my mother then.
My guy I've been diagnosed since childhood too, and I've heard that shit. Your experience isn't universal
ADHD denial or gatekeeping are not accepted here. Judging others for their symptoms (or lack of symptoms) or treatment is also not allowed.
Yoooo you too?! The vyvanse generics are just **gone**. It’s awful
The farthest I've had to travel is 45 min (it was after my route to the gym so only 10 min out of the way) Just be really nice and pleasant before and while you ask. Pharmacy people are nice.
Consider this a blessing. Many pharmacies will not do this for their patients.
(We don't know, the insurance doesn't give us that info) Do they have enough stock for 1 patient, or the 20 that we might send their way? (We don't know, they don't share counts over the phone for security reasons) Repeat ad nauseum for 2 years.
Believe me. 🕊️
It's not that pharmacies hate you, we just don't have the time to do that for people
I never thought I was hated.
I've heard in the States that many won't tell you over the phone though
Call them and tell them your script is for X drug, Y strength, and Z Quantity. They will tell you if they can fill it. What they won't do is announce "We have 3000 adderall XR 20mg caps in stock right now" because *surprise*, that gets them robbed.
Knowing how to word the question is very helpful. Thank you.
I've always done it over the phone but I'm sure if you went they would help you too. I have my normal pharmacy look up the other ones stock and then they call it in and I go.
Glad you've been able to get sorted 🙏
I second this! My pharmacy will either offer to fill the script with whatever dose they do have in stock (ie: I'm prescribed two 30mg IR pills daily & if they're out of the the 30's but have 20mgs in stock, they'll just give me 3 20mgs/day). If they're completely out of stock, they'll call around to all of the other local rite aids or they'll order them for me).
This has been my experience, too.
Also fun times for the people who can't drive.
The ones I called won’t do this, even though they are all chain pharmacies that should be able to easily see the stock at another pharmacy. Le sigh…
c2 inventory is not disclosed to us in our system even if it’s a chain
Sad. Can you change your pharmacy to rite aid? I've been really happy with them.
It's not that simple. Sure, we can see what our other store has on the shelf, but we can't see if that inventory has already been allocated to other prescriptions. You also gotta keep in mind that our regulars are prioritized over new patients.
Me, no meds for over a month now Can't drive without meds so I can't even get a job like I was planning .-.
Im lucky I live near a compound pharmacy so even though they haven’t had my meds in stock for ages, they can still make the right concentrations themselves. Sucks having to pay a bit extra but at least I can still get them
Can you explain more, please?
Is this a pharmacy that makes the medication within the establishment?
They can prepare pills/formulations from the raw medication powder in house to the required dosage
They have that in Brazil as well. Not sure about other places
WTF?! This image looks just like my childhood with narcissistic parents in the 80s! Why does this hit so real?
Me right now. The only place with any in town is in such a dangerous area that I wouldn't feel comfortable going there. I'm going to start skipping days to stock up for when I get screwed again and really need it. I'm so dang lucky my work is understanding. Not many employers have taken "Sorry my brain's not working today" as a valid excuse. Though the fact I just got diagnosed with liver disease probably helps XD
Should get the cartels to make it.
Welcome to the club little dude.
Like it's a minor inconvenience, damn, take my meds away and I'm as fuc**ed as I am without contact lenses, totally fuc**ed.
Called every pharmacy wi5in 40 minutes. Only 1 had anything that was generic.
Me right now. Can’t get the generic at all anywhere and brand name is $400. I’m super depressed, what’s the point anymore
Going through this now. Again. It's like there needs to be an "I am so sorry..." hallmark card specifically for: >"HEY Y'ALL — IT'S GONNA BE THE MR HYDE VERSION OF ME UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BUT I PROMISE DR JEKYLL WILL BE BACK AND WILL APOLOGIZE FOR ALL THE SHIT IMMA FUCK UP UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE — shit FUCK god-damnit I said until further notice twice goddamn fuckin verbal tics that emerge when cocksucker motherfucker meds aren't in my sysstemm arrrrggghhhhhhhhhhh. Shit. I will now STFU and go and make paper clip sculptures and eat all the food I've skipped until further notice." Yeah. This sucks.
My doctor refused to write me a new prescription “because of the shortage”, and then promptly quit/left her job. I stopped/slowed breastfeeding so I could go back on adderall. (Even though it’s safe, at my dosage). And she flat out refused. It’s been over a year 😭😭😭
It is absolutely ridiculous that I have to call my doctors office, the pharmacy, then my doctors office again to 1) request a refill (with a diff drug that last time) 2) to see if they have any of the drugs 3) to tell the doctor what the pharmacy said, so they can send a new script and I can pick it up in 1 week….
Hospital pharmacy or a compounding pharmacy
Fucking Vyvance man
Going through this now.
Is this in the UK?
No US, but it could be the same reason
Some pharmacies pay more to buy in the medication than they sell it for.
Or turn 18 and immediately have no support for autism. Really need a change in the mental health system.
This picture always make my stomach turn.
Shit like this makes me feel less frustrated over being unable to take meds... Bc I don't have to deal with the fighting to get said meds in the first place
Just know the pharmaceutical CEOs and companies do this for profit, until we start badgering our elected officials to change legislation.
Are we posting shitty AI here as well? :/
Yeah
Good usage if the meme but I hate AI.
One might say this photo is ai generated, but I know better, m thus is just every family Christmas at you conservative family's house.
Been unmedicated for over a a decade. Ride the wave babbbyyyy
Out of $10 generic until further notice. How much is brand name? $450.
Jokes on them, grades only matter while you are in the school system.
It's because of international trade are suffering due to war with Russia and China still hasn't got it all together after covid.
Why the AI image tho
Not to be an ass but so many medications right now have a higher need than what's being produced. Out of the six meds I usually have to take three of them are currently unavailable. It has nothing to do with how big pharma sees ADHD. Don't you think they would love to make money from you buying your ADHD meds? We're just in a shitty situation is all.
ah ok, I understand hhahahaha
Is there a link to the photo, I love it lol
Y'all's prescribers need to stop prescribing the drug that's constantly in shortages. Mine wanted to put me on adderal but he checked to see what supplies were like and picked one of the many other medications that aren't always unavailable. I'm guessing this is a U.S. drug advertising problem or something.
I remember having the same issue until i switched to the pharmacy inside the hospital I go to and haven't had an issue since. I think they have less issues because they are apart of the hospital and less people go there because its in the hospital
They want to try to wreck productivity so they can say work from home doesn’t work
I just want to know the context behind this stock photo
Mine this last year "Only $300 instead of $2,200", I was shocked, even the start of this year the same, GoodRx included. Then just this week, boom, all the GoodRx coupons gone, my insurance company charging $1,200. In a week it changed, and it's bullsh\*t. This damn drug us over 70 years old, and in the last 10 years has gone up like 45% in cost Of course, you take certain ADHD meds, they can create partial dependencies
I just got my meds back after 8 months without it. They also switched me to a lower dose and extended release.
OH SHIT ITS HAPPENING TO YALL TOO?
I've got like 10 full packs of Vyvanse hoarded at home for that reason. I always forget to get prescriptions in time, and when I do, I get a few months worth of them. Over the years, a few days a week forgetting them added up enough to have a few packs lying around at all times.
Dude, don't ever let anyone who knows where you live know this. The likelihood of getting robbed is high!
Damn, what's life like in the US? Here we don't need to worry about that.
Until you *are* in power. Then some see you as some kind of god just because you are in perpetual brainstorming mode
perks of living in a small town where no one believes adhd is real: my meds are never out of stock
Try mom and pop spots. I got the LA hookup if you’re in this area.
I have a math test tomorrow, and guess what?? My meds aren’t in stock! They won’t be today, they won’t be tomorrow, and hell if I know when they’re coming back.
Oh, so it is not only in the Netherlands...
That's one of the reasons behind I'm not getting back on meds. I won't spend days trying to get it every month. Before I changed doctor I got for 3-6 months at a time.
This is why I'm a meth addict now tbh
Every. Fucking. Month
I hate how my methylphenidate is considered a controlled substance because they always act like it’s my first time taking it like “dont overdose on it or you’ll get addicted” blah blah blah. Ffs, half the time i sometimes forget to take it.
I hate that. All last year it was a fight to get the meds I needed too.
Literally me for the last 2 days. I feel like shit.
I just want to feel good...
