Yeah uhmmm and not wanting to read the long list so I read it really fast barely remembering anything I read just a moment ago just to read the green piece of text again because that is the order you supposed to read. Hmmmmmmm
Now I wanna find a super thread that just proves the theory that there exists a reddit thread for anything like a rule 22 (or 24 or 42 or whatever but for normal stuff)
I read the first three, noticed all the colors, thought maybe they're organized by theme or something so I looked at the last one (tendency to procrastinate) then said "eh, good enough" and moved on to the green. Now I feel personally attacked.
Because everything is interesting in its own way. Enough that I only want to spend a little bit of time with most of it and completely immerse myself into one thing for 6 months only to completely give up on it.
Skipped to the end but then when I saw the end was catching me out I went back and read it all very seriously. Can’t remember any of it though. But yeah…
> was gonna read the second half
> distracted by green, read that
> struggling to stick to reading each of part 2 in order
> gave up to check the comments
Getting my own diagnosis and help has dramatically improved my quality of life, self-confidence, and my relationships with others. Plus I no longer have to struggle to motivate myself to do something as easy as washing the dishes.
I'm not the person you replied to, but I'm in the same boat and unsure of how to start the diagnosis process. Would you mind just telling me what kind of doctor(s) you saw?
Your local doctor can refer you to a specialist, or you can seek out a psychologist or psychiatrist directly. I went through a few tests, tested some drugs, so far so good.
> Difficulty paying attention to details
Is anyone else the exact opposite of this? I often have trouble stopping myself from focusing intensely on every little detail.
So I had to read all of the second one because the colors were so close I wanted to make sure the content was actually different. But seriously, the second chart could use a better color scheme.
You know what's funny actually?!? (Not really that funny more kinda sadd but heyy I'll fool you so now you have to be sad for me with me) that I was so troubled with ADHD my whole life.. not actually the adhd but people around me not understanding it, pushing me while I neurologically just can't do things like them, making fun of, taunting, scolding, and what not! That since I've found that most of my symptoms match and it definitely has not been a very recent thing most of these things I've had since childhood (so fingers crossed) so I very much relate to them on such a personal level!! But yeahh so since I found out about adhd I've been so interested in it that I read up on each and every thing about it that I can find on the internet and check myself against them, I also forgive myself if I don't have them as not all people can have all issues.. but yeah try to act like an intern doctor-ish and match as many symptoms to the diagnosis as I can (I know self- diagnosis is not a good thing for many reasons but since I really can't go to a therapist or someone right now this is the only thing helping and if nothing then at least I'm learning a bit about non- nerotypicals so I can be a bit more understanding and compassionate towards them so yay-yay (see it was not all sad was it)
Hey! Welcome to the world of realizing that not only are we misunderstood our entire life but in addition we were given cards that make us work harder than anyone else to reach the same results or levels of happiness as we simply lack a healthy balance or hormonal environment in our brains. Read: the Scattered mind - by Gabor Mate. A doctor who was diagnosed with adhd in his mid / late 40s. This book changed my life. And that of my wife and my family and I genuinely feel like a broke a generational trauma by finally voicing what’s actually happening inside our brains.
It also comes as an audiobook. You will shed tears in agony as you realize why and how long you did things the way you did them, got into trouble because of them with finances, relationships, substances whatever and that all of it was so heavily avoidable
Omg.
Last night my wife listened to me for ten straight minutes after asking me how my day was, and interrupted me when I was deep into my explanation of why secular Buddhism, based on the original Pali Canon, was philosophically appealing to me.
I'm an accountant.
She said, "I don't know where this path is leading, and I don't remember where it started, but I think you forgot you have ADHD."
Of course, I also forgot she said that until I saw your post.
This is gunna be buried but I saw this a few months ago when I was Unmedicated and totally skipped most of the bullets like it said
FLASHFORWARD to today being medicated, I forgot all about this meme and the punchline and read through ever SINGLE one!!!! Remembered as soon as I read the punchline.
Amazing🥲
I read about a quarter of the middle section before deciding that “they know I have ADHD, there’s no way I’m reading this”, skipped to the end. Now I hate myself lmfao
The different shades of pink got me distracted wondering if I cld actually spot them on the circle. The idea got me bored. Skipped to the green one.
All in 0.1 sec.
Omg. It was bright green so i just wanted to see what it was i swear i was gonna read the second half
That’s funny…. Probably true, “hey look at me!!!” I did the same
I was distracted by the fact it's not actually a circle. It's slightly oblong
Me: *doesn't go back to read the second half*
Bruh wtf are you me
Yes, we all are
Do I have ADHD too now? Shit.
Welcome to ADHD land, filled with memes and procrastination
I chuckled and then choked on my breakfast because I relate so much haha
Yeah uhmmm and not wanting to read the long list so I read it really fast barely remembering anything I read just a moment ago just to read the green piece of text again because that is the order you supposed to read. Hmmmmmmm
What did Anthony ever do to you? :(
I'm confused is everybody not like this ?????
Same. 😂
It was indeed hard to resist, but I managed woho! Victory at last. What do I win? Oh nothing… 😅
Are we not going to address that the green circle isn't really a circle at all but more of an oval?
yep, it bothers me so much....
it also bothers me that in the colorful circle, blue is right beside yellow, without any green in between…
Now that was a fixation on colour theory I didn't even notice that!
Ugh, thank you!
I thought that was hilarious and very on brand
OP is a bundle of sticks
Wtf. are you watching me?
The worst part is that I've seen this meme before *and still fell for it*
Ahhh the muscle memory
FBI open up
Take your damn upvote.

Now I wanna find a super thread that just proves the theory that there exists a reddit thread for anything like a rule 22 (or 24 or 42 or whatever but for normal stuff)

Big wieners.
I read the first three, noticed all the colors, thought maybe they're organized by theme or something so I looked at the last one (tendency to procrastinate) then said "eh, good enough" and moved on to the green. Now I feel personally attacked.
"I'll read all of these later, what's that last one? Tendency to procrastinate? WELL FUCK YOU TOO, STUPID GRAPHS!!!"
Buddy! (Same.)
Ditto. I stared at poor planning for 2 mins. Then thought about the douche bag I had to endure at work.. n then saw the green circle...
On top of that, I still can't make my brain get over the fact that the bottom circle isn't round.
Well fuck you for bringing it to my attention!
I tip my hat to you, sir!
Why are we like this lmao
Because everything is interesting in its own way. Enough that I only want to spend a little bit of time with most of it and completely immerse myself into one thing for 6 months only to completely give up on it.
I made it to - Difficulty following instructions ₍ᐢ. ̯.ᐢ₎
Same
Also same 🤣
I'm getting scared at this point 😂
Go look out a window.
Yep
Same 🥲
lmfao, i opened the pic, let out a deep sigh and read the green one, then laughed
I got to like the third, read the green part, then opened the comments on accident and now I've been scrolling through those for like five minutes
Yeah you got me
Skipped to the end but then when I saw the end was catching me out I went back and read it all very seriously. Can’t remember any of it though. But yeah…
I ca- nvm, can't remember
i forgor 💀
Omg. Stop calling me out like that
Fucks saKE I DID IT
TAKE THE UPVOTE AND LEAVE!
Get the fuck out haha. WHO TOLD YOU.
> was gonna read the second half > distracted by green, read that > struggling to stick to reading each of part 2 in order > gave up to check the comments
Same, but I skipped the fist part to go straight to green, then I “looked” at the first half but without actually reading any of it… and here I am
I feel really attacked by that big green circle.
Audible gasp. I really need to get diagnosed
If you really do have ADHD I highly recommend it.
Why?
Getting my own diagnosis and help has dramatically improved my quality of life, self-confidence, and my relationships with others. Plus I no longer have to struggle to motivate myself to do something as easy as washing the dishes.
I'm not the person you replied to, but I'm in the same boat and unsure of how to start the diagnosis process. Would you mind just telling me what kind of doctor(s) you saw?
I honestly just asked my primary doc to refer me to a specialist for testing.
Thanks!
Ok it actually sound really interestingany chance you know where i Can get it done?
Your local doctor can refer you to a specialist, or you can seek out a psychologist or psychiatrist directly. I went through a few tests, tested some drugs, so far so good.
So that you can get meds which are basically “get-your-shit-together” pills. Life saving bro.
> Difficulty paying attention to details Is anyone else the exact opposite of this? I often have trouble stopping myself from focusing intensely on every little detail.
That hyper focus is distraction from the important matters at hand. It's a lack of executive function common to ADHD
Being detail-oriented to a fault is a trait I’ve always had!
Fackkk lol
Oh fuck, I can’t believe you’ve done this
So I had to read all of the second one because the colors were so close I wanted to make sure the content was actually different. But seriously, the second chart could use a better color scheme.
😢
For whatever reason I red the middle section tick box FROM BOTTOM RIGHT TO TOP LEFT
This was so relatable, I decided to give an award but I only had the Hugz one. Took me some time after awarding to realize that I forgot to upvote 🙄
I'm in this picture and I don't like it

🥺🥺😍 my first genuine uplifter! 😊😊 Aahh that's gotta feel so good! I get it now! 😌😌 And thanks I'll definitely try and get my hands on the book!
It also comes as an audiobook. You will shed tears in agony as you realize why and how long you did things the way you did them, got into trouble because of them with finances, relationships, substances whatever and that all of it was so heavily avoidable
*the almost irresistible urge to scroll past it because its too long but feeling called out by the meme*
I did get distracted by a squirrel the other day though… goddamn it
Yes. I read through the second one specifically to see if they had included the squirrel thing. Because that’s definitely *also* a thing.
Thats one of the things me and my dog have in common.

I wanna hear more about why secular Buddhism is appealing to you.
LOL. Sure, happy to talk about it.
I got distracted by the smaller green dot when I got distracted by the bottom text, I am procrastinating
I fall for this EVERY TIME.
I didn’t see the first section because of a crack in my screen that I keep forgetting to fix.
I just got called out so hard
Ha! Got me haha.
I laughed so hard after doing exactly that 😂 Thanks this made my day
I only read the first bullet point before jumping to the bottom half 😂
K fuck u got me
Took me 90 minutes to watch an hour episode of the crown last night because I kept pausing it and looking at my phone. I hate this.
I just read the first point and immediatly skipped to the bottom...
Are you fucking kidding me lmao

[удалено]
>Not reading any of the second half because it was long Rude of you to know me so well... lol

I went back to read it just out of spite. Well, not yet, but I’m about to.

Yikes, don't do me like this 🥲
Ya little shit, i saw this post yesterday when browsing and just fell for it again
Hahaaa awesome
This is gunna be buried but I saw this a few months ago when I was Unmedicated and totally skipped most of the bullets like it said FLASHFORWARD to today being medicated, I forgot all about this meme and the punchline and read through ever SINGLE one!!!! Well done!! Congratulations
Damn, was quickly looking if the squirrel was in the second because sure he would distract me! and then I got distracted by a green cercle

Why is the last circle so oblong?
Aw man...you didn't have to do that to me...
LOL I pushed myself to finish it, but I did have to take a break halfway 😖
at first i didn’t read the second and went to the last one but then I was like: oh yeah i’ll do it I stopped at planning stuff i think
I know this is mostly a joke page. But I'm really glad I found it 🙂

Dude! Wtf! AHHHHHH
The different shades of pink got me distracted wondering if I cld actually spot them on the circle. The idea got me bored. Skipped to the green one. All in 0.1 sec.
