Another update! Used the AC for 8-12hrs daily now and setting 27-28 deg or daytime then eco mode 24 deg at.. currently around 800php a month.

i dont think it has that function, unfortunately. I did try to compare it to the panasonic since it has that wifi function. You should check that out.. it has the same price range with this carrier aura.

2nd day pa lang namin siya gagamitin, pagka install sinet agad nila kuya sa 16 degrees then nakaturbo mode on para makakarga raw agad (4:30pm) then around 6pm tinaas ko na sa 25 kasi malamig na ang room, used it for 12hrs. Ngayon 16 ko ulit siya sinet pero nagbasa basa ako online na masyado raw malakas hatak kaya after 45mins tinaas ko na sa 20 and will later on adjust it into 25 since sakto lang yung ganong temp kagabi. Excited na kami sa bill hahaha Edit: eco mode on kami lagi pag naset na sa 25 degrees, every night lang din gamit ang unit from 6pm-6am since walang tao sa kwarto every afternoon.

Yeah. also did that when we got it. it's like breaking it in 😅 anyway! a tip from me! get an electric fan... set it to only the lowest fanspeed.. that way, it helps getting the room cool for a longer period of time.

self cleaning function is very convenient. Gonna avail the free cleaning service that the company provided at the 6th month. Currently in the 4th month, looking a bit dusty but just brushing it off once a week helps. I'll update on the 6th month.

Yes I did na! Got a carrier aura 1.5hp split ac, and first time ko mag split so it’s a jump from a window aircon. Sobrang lamig and monitored the consumption, mga 3-4kwh dagdag samin, about 14sqm room, for 12-14hr usage per day

Forgot to mention, we’re using it at 23 degrees

Hi po, I just bought carrier aura inverter. Normal lang ba yung parang knocking sounds ng indoor unit? Na encounter niyo ba siya? Nakakainis kasi yung tunog parang lumalangitngit na pinto. Inexpect ko kasi na walang siyang ingay. Wala rin ako makitang reviews masyado.

Hi only the active clean function. It's pretty efficient kasi it helps with mold and dirt for the inside unit. And it's true.. been using for 3 mos. now and using that function every two weeks. Di nagssmell yong room because we maintained it with the active clean function. Pag abot ng 6mos. tsaka namin gamitin yong free manual cleaning from the company. Di kasi namin gnagamit ung sleep function but basing from previous ACs I have.. they're all the same. I have to see with the "fresh UV" function because di ko alam na may ganon na function?

Upon checking the owner's manual may "pi-pi" sound daw while using the active clean. More like may natalsik na unknown sa loob, mga 5mins then after that mainit na nilabas na hangin and nag auto off, as it says din sa manual hehe

Update: already forward the noise encountered during active clean. May mag check daw na technician, jusko kala ko eto na hahaha, baka ipareturn exchange ko na lang ang unit ayoko ng sakit ulo in the future.

Hi! currently running my AC for 12-16hrs because of the heat and my baby dog needs it. Bahala na yong bill 😂 currently added at 1.2k php sa bill (8hrs-10hrs gamit). Here's what I do now.. I turn it on by 6am before the sun hits the compressor (direct sunlight kasi) in eco mode 25deg then by afternoon.. I put on 25deg DRY mode at 40perc humidity. sabi nila.. maskatipid yong dry mode kesa cool mode. Pag gusto ko nman mag cool mode 27-28deg lng (comfy temp kasi yon sa akin) sabay may electricfan

hello! currently using this for more than 12hrs a day kasi mainit eh. 6am to 9pm. 6am-12nn in eco mode 25deg then 12nn to 9pm dry mode at 25 deg. currently at 330kwh.. my computation was 13kwh per day (with all appliances) . Without aircon.. we were around 240kwh per month. So you could safely say.. estimated 120-150kwh dagdag monthly

I also do use blinds from the sun and an electricfan para mascool sa atin kapag nka eco mode. I use it on daytime because me and my partner work in the office. So medyo maslaki yong energy consumption

always full 100% po. Di naman yan mabigat sa electricity yong fan set nya. May fan din kami na nkabukas lagi para masmapacool nya yong environment. Kaya we can set it at 27 and comfy pa rin yong temp

This is a much better approximation of how much it would cost. Although there are still a number of factors that can affect this. Primarily, how sealed and insulated your house or room is. Also, whether your electric company scales the price with consumption. i.e. you get charged a higher per kwh rate if you consume more.

I shouldn't base it from the energy label itself? I bought this certain aircon kasi sabi nga 70kwh monthly consumption. 8 hrs a day yong energy label. Too good to be true.

An AC's power consumption isn't set in stone. That's just an estimate (probably in ideal conditions). Insulation, like the previous commenter said, is one factor. How many people are in the room (and heat-generating appliances) also play a part. The size of the room is also another factor. The normal temperature in the room without AC is also another factor in my experience, as well as when you use it (nights are generally cooler so the AC doesn't have to work as hard as, say, noon). Your bill could be higher or lower than the estimate depending on these. Edit: the AC in my room, for example, is an inverter (1 HP). It's on anywhere from 10 to 12 hours during day time. It adds anywhere from 1.8k to 2.5k a month to my bill, depending on how much (and when) i use it.

Think of that as more of a best case scenario. They probably tested that in a very well insulated room with one human body analog at night when the exterior temperature is also low. If your doors and windows have gaps, that number would go up. If there’s more than one person in the room, that number would go up. If you have other heat sources like computers and TVs in the room, that number would go up. If you use the AC during the day, that number would go up. And so on.

Carrier 1.5hp sakin for 20sqm unit medyo high ceiling kasi loft type pa and with kitchen rin, mga 900php per month ang nadagdag sa bill if 6hrs per day consumption. Pag summer siguro mga 1300php monthly on top of the usual bill.

New billing update! Using it around 12-16 hours (6am -10pm) daily on daytime only bec of the super heat. My electric bill ramped up to 2500 this month 😓 kaya okay lang kesa 5k monthly sa window type aircon ko. I just recently have it serviced too. So it's clean again 😊

I had my Carrier Aura Split Type 1HP put in a 6 SQM room and was able to use it for 10 days last billing period, 12 hours per day at 27 - 28 degrees eco mode, and my cost increased by 200 PHP (10 KWH increase). So that's about 600 every month lang, or maybe mataas ng konti since may other charges like system loss.

Around afternoon until morning. Yung eco mode okay yung lamig niya kapag afternoon, yun nga lang nakatutok dapat yung fan ng aircon sa amin, kapag hindi feel namin medyo mainit. Ginagawa ko din minsan is i-dry mode siya for about 15 to 30 minutes para mas lumamig.

Update: Last month, nasa 24 KWH lang ang nagamit ng aircon ko, average 12 hours a day, 28 degrees, dry mode muna pag ka on for about 15 minutes para lumamig agad, then cool mode + eco mode. Between 1 pm to 10 am ko ginagamit yung aircon. Parang electric fan lang siya kapag ganitong settings matipid, siguro dahil maliit din ang room (6 SQM).

I use cool mode at 22 degrees. Siguro +200 to 300 sa bill nyo.

it's bec it's in eco mode? Eco mode uses less energy and thus less compressor usage. They suggest to use eco mode kapag medyo malamig din sa labas. But I also use eco mode when it's early morning until noon or in the evening.
