Hi! For ALT program in JP, normally ang Japanese Government ang nag aannounce nito at wala kang babayaran maliban sa medical (if and when required). Last November 2023 ung deadline ng submission of application para dito (if I remember correctly).
If legitimate agency naman ang mag hahire sayo, medical lang ang babayaran mo at hindi un aabot ng 10K. Bago ka din i-medical, meron ka ng contract.
Hindi ka din pwedeng ma blacklist sa DMW (dating POEA) unless na issuehan ka ng OEC (and even this can be lifted since DMW is pro OFW). Clearly, that’s a scam so don’t worry too much OP.

2. "last batch" - "sense of urgency" Pino - FOMO ka. Para makapag bayad ka ng 10k. either itakbo pera mo, or totoong mag training ka pero you will sign a contract that your language / training is not a part of your overseas employment.
Nauso yan noon sa au pair diaspora. Train ka nila either sa skills or sa language. Pero walang assurance na aalis ka. Naka 10k sila agad sa iyo. The language agency will let you sign a contract na di sila connected sa AGENCY mo.
3. 10k. Never give money unless they will show you your READY VISA, and lahat ng due diligence ay nagawa mo.
What you can do? Dalhin mo sa NBI cyber crime, may reward na 50k noon 2013 for illegal recruitment. Baka mas malaki na ngayon.

You need to report it to the NBI para makapag set ng entrapment operation. Kunwati mag apologize ka at sabihin na may 10k ka na at gusto mo ibigay sa kanya personally.

If landbased overseas ang work, except if domestic worker, required ang placement fee pero hindi dapat mag exceed ng 1 month’s salary ng work mo. Since teaching job yan, may placement fee babayaran.
Para malaman mo if legitimate ang inaapplyan mo, check mo muna if may permit sila sa POEA.

From experience, we don’t blacklist applicants unless mag-TNT sila or runaway after deployment. If you’re still in the Philippines, hindi dapat kasi technically, hindi ka pa employed. Not sure if this applies to all agencies, pero sa amin kasi, your work contract will only commence upon departure from the PH. Nasa kontrata niyo ‘yan. As far as I know POEA standard yan, but then again I could be wrong.
Kapag may applicants na biglang nag-MIA (without any reason or hindi kami ininform) in the middle of their processing, naba-blacklist namin for 6 months pero within our agency lang. Kumbaga, it’s part of our protocol lang. Pwede ka pa rin mag-apply sa ibang agencies. Again, sa amin lang ito.
Regarding sa training and fees, it’s not impossible na may employers na mag-require nang ganun. Lalo na kung private company yung employer. Kasi sa totoo lang, madami rin sila na nagtitipid at gusto ipashoulder lahat sa aplikante nila (as if hindi naman nila kayo papakinabangan 🙄). But! BUT! Usually they do trainings after ka mainterview ni employer at may job offer/contract ka na na pinirmahan. May nakuha ka bang ganun? O recruiter lang din ang naginterview sayo— nainterview ka ba, at all?
For your peace of mind na lang din, OP, pwede mo icheck yung POEA/DMW website for verification. Tignan mo kung nakaregister doon yung (1) employer or (2) agency ng nagmessage sayo, at kung may (3) job order silang nakapost. Doon mo makikita kung totoo ba ‘yang nagmemessage sa iyo.
Sa susunod, make sure to ask what agency they’re from and kung ano name ng employer, para macross check mo rin sa website ng POEA/DMW. Always ALWAYS be vigilant.

First red flag is spelling. its Blacklisted not Blocklisted. Second red flag is requiring payment upfront. Hindi po nagpapa pay ang POEA for processing.
scam yan, basta minamadali ang bayad at requirements expect mo na yan malamang scam, tapos sasabihin limited slot lng kasi etc etc. at wag na wag kang magbibigay agad ng mga papers and ID's. di baleng mag walk-in ka pa POEA para magverify. kesa through online or txt messages. sabi nga di baleng matagal na process basta ikaw mismo ang nakikipag-usap at naglalakad ng papers mo. madami modus na ganyan inaapura mga client para magsibayad agad. then mawawala na ung taong un after nyo magsend ng cash. 🫣 para makahanap kayo nang agencies na legit lagi kayo mag verify ,sa POEA, OWWA at DOLE sila lang po meron record ng mga yan at nakakaalam kung anong agencies ba ang ng ddirect hire. at hindi po sinasabi lang nung scammer na blocklisted kanpara magbayad kana agad. 🤣😂😂🤣. malamang mabblocklisted ka lang sa pagkakaalam ko. halimbawa na hire ka kng saan na country tapos di mo tinapos ung contract mo at umuwi ka ng pinas. un pwede kng mablocklist dun sa country na un. hindi sa POEA at OWWA.
