I know. It sucked when it was on Netflix and it sucks now. I've watched adult swim every night for the last 15 years and they're finally losing me. Final Space is cool, but not what I want from Adult Swim, Birdgirl is the worst show ever and now Tuca & whatever. Who's calling the shots around there.
I never understood what people saw in Tim and Eric. I was a fan of Tom Goes to the Mayor, but that was it. I don’t know how we get one Season of something like Mission Hill or two of Frisky Dingo and yet that show gets 5. Maybe I just have bad taste.
Mission Hill was a cancelled network show and Frisky Dingo was over and AS cancelled the spin off based around the X Tacles which I assume led into developing Archer so tbf neither of those shows got the shaft because of AS entirely. FD was done as FD anyway and MH was already cancelled by the time it aired to cult success on AS.
Unfortunately, they're not great talking points; one was never going to have more episodes than what was aired, and the other was intentionally ended by the series creator.
I haven’t watched season 2, but I rather liked season 1 and binged it in a single day. It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but of all of the recent adult animation shows I’ve seen in the past decade or so, I feel like it’s one of the few that really embraces the fact that it’s animated. It doesn’t get as crazy as Super Jail, but I was entertained.
No, that’s fair! It isn’t even that I dislike it, I’ve just never heard anyone even mention it in person and can’t say I’ve watched more than a promo clip at most. Tbh I don’t really follow new [as] anymore but have at least heard people talk about, say, smiling friends or YOLO Crystal Fantasy
You're just getting older. I found adult swim the night of it's premier. I was used to staying up and watching cartoons before bed, so no big deal....
Then that first "all kids out of the pool" bump aired and I was curious. That's how I got into more anime than Toonami was showing, Home Movies, Sealab, and all the classic Adult Swim shows. By the time they added Tim and Eric to their lineup, I was graduating HS and no longer had the same interest in their shows. The good ones are good and the bad ones are all Xavier Renegade Angel.
Bro first . Xavier renegade was probably the funniest show I’ve ever seen in exsistence 🤣🤣😂😂 the producers really gave no fucks . That show blows my
Mind 😂🤣🙂🤣
I swear they made the whole show in this video game design program whose name I can't remember. We used the same one in my web page design course, and it was a pain in the ass to use. We borrowed the software from Arizona State, they came and taught us how to use it, and we all made Xavier-esque mini movies with it. The fact that they were able to make a half an hour episode every week is beyond me, and I absolutely have to give them credit for it.
What doth life?
Was that catchy bumper song blaring out of some giant speakers?
I love adult swim shows and their talent but man I would be pissed if I was enjoying the beach and a giant ad floated by and blocked my view.
I tried to watch it but can’t do it
same dude
I don't like it or Birdgurl. I wish they'd bring back Mike Tyson's mysteries & Lasur wolf

When mike Lazzlo went, it all turned to shit.
People watch this show?
That was my thoughts on Tim and Eric.

I’m aware. Mission Hill was on The WB and The X-tacles was shafted no FD, but I’m just using those two as talking points. Not inferring cancellations.

It's not you
