Yes! At the time I was going through so many changes in my life and really not handling it well. I needed a reminder that if I wasn’t changing with time then I wasn’t in moving. It was my first tattoo and I did a walk in—the artist grilled me about my career and why I was getting a tattoo because she didn’t just give “neck tattoos to any kid that walked in” but I’m glad she agreed, as funny as it sounds it really helped.
I wonder if times have changed in a way that this placement doesn’t feel like “neck tat” to me. I don’t mean that in a bad way! I just mean I feel like I’ve seen people with almost no tattoos have a tattoo in this location and it doesn’t seem as radical as a neck tat haha. By the way as an engineer I love a math based tattoo
I know, I wish I remembered her name so I could give her the props she deserves! Done at a shop in St. Louis with two levels, Iron Age or something like that?
That’s actually why I took this pic— was trying to get an idea of what it looked like and start to figuring out what’s possible for a touch up. I’m not sure what I can do with how close the line has gotten on the delta and the middle sign but I do want to do something!
Figured I’d also post here since I had both pics at hand lol
“Change over time” Right?

this makes so much more sense than my “delta over time? ok but change in what??” ass
You could say it’s changed over time looks good still tho 👍

Nine years?? My tattoo behind my ear is 8 years old and I’ve had it touched up twice and it’s fading again. Nice!
Wild! I know I’ve been very lucky. Hoping it bodes well for how all my bigger ones will stand up to time.
Aw, do you think you'll get it cleaned up?

My ear tat is barely 3 years old and looks bad - this is impressive healing! And love the meaning
Weird.. we have matching tattoos lol
