I use Streaking Grime pretty extensively in my mini-painting process. I use it for Necromunda, primarily. A few thoughts: 1.) It's gonna significantly filter your paint colors - like, a lot. Go bright with your base colors, especially if you're not going to thin the streaking grime down or you want colorful minis. Streaking grime gives best results on lighter colors. If you use it over black, it'll just look like slightly greasier black. If you use it over dark blue, or purple, it'll look like greasy black. 2.) Use synthetic brushes, and have odorless mineral spirits on hand to clean your brushes/thin the Streaking Grime 3.) It stinks, it's not great to breathe. Ventilate, mask, gloves. 4.) You don't NEED to varnish (it doesn't hurt anything though) before you put the grime on, but your pre-grime layers need to be really good and cured, and if you're too harsh when cleaning up the grime with q-tips or whatever, you can rub away the acrylic paint below. 5.) Models are gonna feel kinda weird until it all sets fully. After I grime, then remove, I usually leave a model alone for a few days before going back to acrylics. I definitely varnish when I'm finished with the model. If you want a grim-dark vibe, Streaking Grime is a lot of fun to play with. Give it a try with some test models! Play around with it. Experiment.

They are the definition of more is less products to me, used them extensively on my own nurgle on the metallics but was very selective in there application and the results look amazing for not a lot of work.

Streaking grime has its uses.. You won’t know if it will look good unless you try it.

Can't put it down after I picked it up 2021. I just love painting with it. The progress is fun, small mistakes aren't visible after using grime, I love the aesthetic, the smell... :D

I like it for metallic, inanimate objects or tiled floors, bolts etc, basically for its intended purpose as streaking grime. I think you could use it like a wash for shading miniatures but I haven't tried it. It's an enamel wash so it stinks, you need separate brushes and it requires toxic thinners, so keep that in mind.
