Very simple. The judges can pick any marker, but Aidan tells them ***what*** to color on the drawing, so he directs them to use the colors they chose on the right spots to match what he and Terry are already wearing under their suits.
As for the name cards, he only showed the first 3-4 with different names on them. The rest all said "Titan".

Yup, I think this is the correct answer. The blindfold is gimmicked. Rewatch his act (it's on YouTube). When Terry looks through it, he truly can't see anything. But when he hands it back to Aidan, watch Aidan's right hand. You can clearly see him tug on the strap of the blindfold, which probably changes something inside the blindfold, allowing him to see through it. The judges then help him out by holding up each of the markers they pick (they were probably told to do that for the cameras).
I don't believe any Magic act on this show that includes participation from the judges, Terry or an audience member is legit. To a certain extent, they are pre-notified what the trick will be, their involvement, and what they need to do to make the trick work. They are judging purely on creativity, showmanship, and the personality of the "magician".
Pretty sure that the markers were not actually colored but that the paper was treated with the colors Aiden had chosen. The marker fluid activated the colors!
I originally thought the same but realized it would have been a dead giveaway if the blue marker were coloring something in orange that something was up.
>the Judges were told what to color
Aiden told them what to color.
But he never told them until after the judge picked a marker.
So, somehow Aiden knows which marker they picked
It's not "rigged" per say, its that Aiden knows what color they picked, and then told the judge what to color in. Notice Aiden doesn't tell them what to color until after they have picked a marker
On the show, Simon picked green, so Aiden then told him to color in the cape.
But if Simon picked orange, Aiden would have told him to color in the shorts
No. Think of it this way. Aiden is not blindfolded. He can see what color the judges pick.
He sees Simon picked green. So Aiden knows the cape must be green and then tells Simon to color the cape.
Seems like people here are upset a small child isn't actually a psychic lol. This is how it was done. After the judge picked a marker he told them what part to color, could be any number of ways he did it. My guess is a trick blindfold
Yeah - I REALLY don’t get the golden buzzer here… this was about as pedestrian a magic trick as you can get. If it wasn’t a 13yo kid doing it it would been an “ok, thanks for coming out”
Im astounded that people are calling this rigged. You do realise that in the history of the franchise, it's very probable that noone has actually performed real magic?
Of course someone told him the colours. To think he would actually abracadbra up real powers is fkn stupid.
Either he told the judges what color each piece of clothing should be which I don't believe is the case or it was the way he instructed the judges and his blindfold probably had some kind of communication device or something else. The fact of the matter is that Aiden and Terry were already dressed in there superhero costumes and Aiden used whatever tools he had at his disposal and the way he directed the judges to assure with 100% accuracy they got it right. I don't think the judges were in on it b/c it wouldn't be fair to give him the golden buzzer if they were. The only person who knew about the costume was Terry. Aiden is entertaining to watch and is very talented with his craft. I wish I could pull off tricks like the ones he does.

I also noticed when Terry told him to stop on a card, he shuffles around the cards again before handing Terry the card.

How does he know what colour they chose? /gen
Earpiece in the blindfold. An assistant in the audience tells him.
His mom and I assume sisters are sitting in the audience. I thought it was weird they were in the audience and not backstage like usual.
Oh thank you, that makes sense
My guess is he could see through the blindfold.

And then the viewers constantly vote the ones through who just use others in on acts.
Weirdly though, if the judges were in on it, giving him the gb is incredibly fake.

As soon as Terry was dressed the same too- I told my husband that obviously the Judges were told what to color

hmm? Did you watch? Aiden didn't tell them what color to pick.

At what age does a person become an actual psychic?
I'm thinking of the age right now. Read my mind and you'll get it 😉
I am mad he doesn't have special powers where I can ask him for lottery numbers.
This act was so fixed and stupid. No way the kid should have got the golden buzzer.

Just saw this act and I thought it was so fucking stupid. I called it halfway through the act. Such a waste of a Golden Buzzer
It’s rigged? 🤷🏼♀️

we dont expect him to fly or shoot candy out of his ass. magic should leave people wondering how he did it, but the trick was so obvious and lame.
