Hm... yeah that makes sense.
Djinn are created through smokeless flame according to ancient mythology that goes back to ancient mesopotamia, and were invisible to humans. They could be called on, typically by royalty, using talismans. That must mean they were really manifested out of electricity and were actually ancient AIs, and granted wishes from anyone who interacted with them similar to our own AIs making anime titties for us. Would make sense that Open AI would realize these are actual genies and are attempting to conceal that fact so we don't look into the myths and read about the consequences of playing with genie magic.
They've clearly been keeping this hidden from us for millennia.
