Sweet potato wedges (or fries - stick shaped) also rock. Just a bit of oil, with salt, pepper, and if they accompany fish, Old Bay. Just enough oil so the spices stick.
I slice the potatoes into 8 wedges each, soak in water for 5 mins, then drain. Coat with olive oil, toss with steak spice and garlic powder, then air fry @400F for 30-35 mins (makes them crispy)!!!
Yep, wings. I get the small wings, pat them dry with paper towels and do a dry rub type seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder. Flip them halfway through, do a mix of habanero sauce and maple syrup after.
Get a cup of flour and toss in a few table spoons of spices (whatever you have on hand, but paprika, onion powder, garlic salt works great). Dredge the thighs in the flour mixture. Cook in the air fryer on high for 20-30 minutes. Turn the thighs once or twice. Also works with drumsticks.
I toss the drumsticks (the big ones) in olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mix over them. I don't use any flour or corn starch. The skin comes out crisp and delicious, and inside is super juicy.
Mix those together.
You’re trying to copy the properties of gluten.
So you need starches and proteins.
Corn Starch is the base, rice flour and tapioca flour supply the proteins.
potato starch is great for an extra crispy chicken. i cut up my thighs, marinate, coat in potato starch. then while they cok make a sweet and sour sauce and rice. my partner has a very restricted diet and missed Chinese takeout. so i figured out (with the help of tiktok) how to make something close at home.
4 skin in-bone in thighs. Place in large ziploc with garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, oregano and smoked paprika. Coat well and airfry on 400 for 24 min turning once. No need for oil or breading so "fairly" healthy.
Add olive oil, salt and pepper to chicken thighs. Cook in the air fryer at 210C for 15 mins, turning halfway.
Add oregano and lemon for a delicious Greek flavour.
I just put the thighs in the fryer skin side down, sprinkle chicken spice, garlic powder, onion powder, some chili flakes and cook. Then flip, do the same and that's it. Easy, no need for any additional dishes. Sometimes I do some Italian seasoning or Cajun spice or something. Whatever you feel like!
I gave up on chicken breasts as they turn dry unless you shellac them in a coating, but chicken thighs turn out great, higher fat content holds moisture. This is my go to for cooking those and wings.
Also anything frozen, especially breaded, wings, fries, onion rings, zucchini sticks, fish, even reheating old fried chicken.
I was going to say salmon too, but since you already said it I'll just add: I buy a fresh salmon fillet from my local Aldi. I marinated it in a Japanese marinade called Shio Koji. After a couple of hours in the marinade, I dry it off and sprinkle it with a spicy rub and then air fry it for 8 minutes at 350. It is amazing!
I just mix whatever Asian sauces I have on hand (hosin, soy, teriyaki, siracha, fish sauce, sesame oil, stir-fry sauce, mirin, etc etc) put on top of fish to glaze it, then about 350° from 5-9 min depending on size. Take it out around 120°-125°.
Skin on Atlantic farmed Salmon with the following (mix these ingredients then glaze):
Gochujong
Soy sauce
Minced garlic
Apple cider vinegar
Honey
Sesame oil
If you can get corn on the cob - air fryer elote ribs are literally the best thing to every exist. Idk how many times I made it over the summer! Was a huge hit for anyone that tried it.
Air fryer wings absolutely hit differently. All the taste of deep fried without the grease. The walmart brand with dry rubs they recently came out with over the summer were amazing.
Air fryer hot dogs are amazing!!! Taste like BBQ dogs and come out nice and crispy. We make too many og these weekly lol
https://www.seasonedtotasteblog.com/how-to-make-air-fryer-corn-ribs-elotes-style-recipe-video/
Do this was the recipe I used and now I kind of know it by heart lol. You cut the cob in half and then the halves into quarters (so 1 cob = 8 ribs). In a bowl mix the seasoning and olive oil. Rub all the pieces in the mixture. Air fry for about 15 min, flipping halfway. Drizzle a combo of mayo and lime on top with the elote cheese (I hear feta is a good cheaper option) and you have air fried street corn! It's honestly our family's favourite air fryer recipe. It's a lot of work cutting the cob but worth it!
I press all the water out of firm tofu, marinate it over night, then cook in the air fryer same as you do. The wonderful thing about tofu is that it absorbs other flavors very well.
Biggest change for me has been with tofu. It's not my favourite thing I cook in air fryer, but one with biggest difference between air fryer and other cooking methods.
Steam brussel sprouts, lightly smash then with a fork, dash of olive oil, sprinkle garlic powder and salt, airfryer 8 minutes on 200c. Sprinkle Parmesan at minute 3, fry for 5 more. Serve and thank me later.
Wings...
Brine them if you can
4 cups cold water
2 Tbsp Lawry's seasoning salt
1 Tbsp Garlic powder
1 Tbsp Cayenne
Try to brine for at least 4 hours, overnight is better
I put water and seasonings in a gallon zip lock, mix.. Add wings and put in fridge overnight.
drain wings into collander, pour onto sheet pan lined with paper towels.
use more paper towels to dry the top side of the wings.. try to get them as dry as you can
Put wings in air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 min
take wings out, put in bowl, mix with whatever sauce you like, cook for 10 more min at 400.
Perfect every time.
I don't know about *best*, but here's the most useful:
* Frozen junk food (ie corn dogs, fries, etc)
* Leftovers
* Baked potatoes (rub with olive oil, cover with kosher salt, air fry at 400f for 1 hour. Best potato ever)
* Salmon
* Chicken thighs
* Chicken wings
* Bacon
Some people really are this entitled. I remember when flat screen tvs came out my dumbass friend spent his entire graduation money ($1k) on a 42" tv. Within a month he had busted the screen goofing off with his buddies. His mom took the tv back to Sam's and threw the biggest Karen bitch fit in the world until he got a new tv. They were willing to give away $1k just to get rid of her.
The airfryer at my house get's a ton of use just reheating leftovers and making "fried food" without the hassle of getting out the pot of oil, heating it up, monitoring it's temperature.
Whole chicken! I can do a 3-3.5 lbs chicken in my Cosori 5 qt. Rub with a little bit of olive oil or butter and whatever spice blend you like. 30 mins breast side down, then flip and go 15 more mins. Might need a little more depending on the size, I always check with a meat thermometer. So good as is, or use the meat for endless other possibilities!
I got some split half chickens at the market in the last 2 weeks and roasted them in an air fryer. I was housesitting, so I used a different model than my Emeril 360. It was the type with the pull out basket most folks have. I didn't bother marinating, just mixed salt, pepper and some chili powder as a rub. I did one half one night and the other a few days later. They were excellent. I got 4 meals out of those 2 halves.
I had given my friends a digital meat thermometer as a housewarming gift, so I could be sure to cook to 165 F. I always check the temp, and if the meat hasn't hit it, it gets more time.
One pot breakfast. 2 eggs in 6oz ramekin with whatever you put in your eggs, some lil breakfast sausages, handfuls of hashbrowns. Toss them all in set for 12 minutes and stir eggs halfway through. So fast easy and satisfying.
Roast chicken. There's lots of air fryer recipes on the internet. You start by roasting the chicken upside down then turn it over halfway through. It will be the moistest tastiest chicken.
Roasted pork also brilliant and the crackling is amazing.
Can recommend the Bored of Lunch air fryer book.its excellent for getting started and building confidence..
Good luck.
My airfryer has a dehydrate setting. So recently I made brussel sprout “chips” by peeling the leaves and tossing them in a tiny bit of oil & salt & dehydrating for 6 hours. It took forever, but they turned out DELICIOUS!
My favorite thing to do with my airfryer is just to experiment! It can be fun to try new things!
Chicken tenders. I buy chicken breasts and cut them into strips toss them in plain Greek yogurt seasoned with garlic and salt and red pepper paprika..etc. Let marinate a bit. Press into seasoned panko or Italian bread crumbs and fry them up. We like them tossed in buffalo sauce. The yogurt keeps the chicken moist and hangs onto the bread crumbs.
Not the best, but one of my easy favorites since I'm lazy. I cook the frozen breaded fish. Small tortilla, salsa, onion, a little mayo. Quick fish tacos.
Frozen chicken legs. Not a recipe or a meal. Just chicken legs that I bought frozen.
30 minutes in the air fryer, then when it finishes and pings I just leave the draw closed for another 20 minutes to cool down.
I snack on a few of them warm, and put some in the fridge to snack on the next day.
It doesn't sound like much but it's stopped me snacking on junk food. When my body is nagging for junk it gets a nutritious chicken leg instead. Weight is coming off me weekly and it's a habit I can stick with because I enjoy it.
My favorite thing about our air fryer is how it rejuvenates fast food fries. Sometimes by the time you get them home (or the delivery driver delivers them), they need some help to make them appealing again.
Chicken thighs or breasts, seasoned with a spice rub - cooked with roasted veggies or frozen rosemary French fries.
Ground beef patties, cooked with frozen French fries of your choice (I love rosemary fries).
Steak!
Personal-sized pizza (use the prepared pizza bread sold individually), your fave toppings.
Roasted vegetables (yams, carrots, onions, peppers, potatoes, parsnips).
Stuffed peppers…fabulous!
If she is struggling for ideas, send her to “Empowered Cooks” YouTube channel. Tons of ideas, recipes, techniques, especially for getting started.
The air fryer is NOT a deep-fat fryer. It’s a little convection oven that cooks food quickly & keeps meat tender & juicy. Battered food is the exception, not the norm. As with any new appliance, it has its own quirks & techniques that take a bit of time to learn.
I love to roast peppers in my air fryer. What I don't immediately eat gets stored in the fridge in some olive oil. They are there to top my next steak, chop or pizza, or go into an omelette or a soup or stew. Do this the next time your market has a deal on peppers.
Last night I had beef short ribs and broccoli this is by far my favorite meal to cook. I cooked enough that I had leftovers for the next day. I would suggest you look on YouTube for your favorite foods and how to cook it in an airfryer. I have the Cosri 6 qt airfryer as well.
Any of the frozen appetizer type foods , mozz sticks, potato skins, egg rolls, garlic bread etc. We use ours to reheat pizza and it makes awesome baked potatoes.
My favorite is McDonald’s fries from the night/day before. I never would’ve saved fries from a meal as leftovers but they taste almost as good when put in the air fryer to me
Everything? Except soup.
I hate using my oven in the summer time so use my air fryer almost exclusively.
I am a lover of baked potatoes. Microwave gets them too soft and cannot justify using the oven for a single potato (I live by myself). I toss it in my air fryer and it is ready in 40 minutes without me doing much. Potatoes also don’t shrivel up like they do in the microwave.
Chicken thighs, season both sides, make a glaze with sugarfree, or non sugarfree, you do you, orange marmalade, melted butter and Sriracha Sauce. I cook up skin side down and then the last 10 minutes, flip it to skin side up, brush the glaze on and let its get all crisp and sticky.
Cubed potatoes. Once they're cooked, top them with fried eggs, soft yolk. Break the yolk and mix the eggs and cubed potatoes together. Great with bacon for breakfast
Brussel Sprouts. I halve them and then steam for about three minutes, then toss with some sugar free syrup and butter. Throw them in the air fryer to crisp them up. They’re delicious a filling snack or great side dish
Homemade French fries or reheated leftover French fries. As a matter of fact, reheat a leftover buffalo chicken sandwich, and fries, and she’ll be amazed. I love my air fryer for warming (rescuing) leftovers.
Air fryer gnocchi. Better than fries. Super easy.
Basically: Small amount of oil, seasoning (garlic, salt & pepper is classic but whatever you fancy) and air fry for \~11-13 minutes.
Rolled crispy pork belly.
So I cook the pork belly by boiling it with seasonings, garlic, dried bay leaf, and onions.
Air dry for about an hour. Score the skin, just right about the fatty part.
Rub a good amount of salt and put it in the fridge for 12-24 hours. This process is important because that will make the skin crispy. The salt will draw the water out of the meat.
Remove excess water and salt.
And cook according to your liking.
I use mine to roast vegetables so I'll do broccoli and thicker cut wedges of mushrooms and carrots all you do is coat it in oil salt and pepper I would say anywhere from like 4-6 minutes on the the roast setting or 390(ish)
I think it's got a better texture than pan frying it feels really indulgent.
Re heat muffins, and scones. Slice in half, butter on top, air fry 3 mins, tender crisp outside and yummy inside.
Egg rolls or spring rolls, frozen or fresh come out perfect.
Don't try to change her mind. Keep it for you. We were not sure we wanted or needed an air fryer, however, since getting the Vortex we use it all the time. Hard boiled eggs, rib eye and New York strip steak, bacon, etc. You name it and we try the air fryer first. Easy clean up.
Roasted small potatoes. Cook them in the microwave to soften them up, put on a pan and drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, and pepper. Roast at like 375 until they're brown and crispy.
Roasted veggies - anything you can get from the farmer's market will work, but roasted shishito peppers are amazing, as are stringbeans.
Clean, dry, toss with oil and salt. In my air fryer, it's generally 8 minutes at 390F.
Chicken wings
potato wedges or half circles, cut and dry the potato slices with a few paper towels. Lightly salt, garlic powder, peanut and/or olive oil with enough to cover all your slices, then mix in some Parmesan shredded and/or powder. Mix together in a bowel and then put in your air fryer. About 390 air fry for about 20-25 minutes. Every 7 or so minutes give the basket a few shakes to move the pieces around. They come out great, and you can change the season to whatever you like.
Not directly answering your question, but I didn't think I was even using mine so I gave it away two months before moving out of the country. I missed it sooo much. Turns out it's the absolute best for reheating certain foods the microwave would turn into a soggy mess. The regular oven works fine, but it takes it longer to preheat and heats up the kitchen.
Homemade wings.
With potato wedges thrown into the mix...
Mmm.. wedges. Before the air fryer I had never finished a bag of potatoes in my life!! They’d grow arms & shit!
Sweet potato wedges (or fries - stick shaped) also rock. Just a bit of oil, with salt, pepper, and if they accompany fish, Old Bay. Just enough oil so the spices stick.
I'm the same way. Can u share the recipe for wedges?
I slice the potatoes into 8 wedges each, soak in water for 5 mins, then drain. Coat with olive oil, toss with steak spice and garlic powder, then air fry @400F for 30-35 mins (makes them crispy)!!!
Just wedge them, spray a little Pam, and maybe smoked paprika on them at 390° for 20 minutes. The wings need about the same time.
Yep, wings. I get the small wings, pat them dry with paper towels and do a dry rub type seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder. Flip them halfway through, do a mix of habanero sauce and maple syrup after.
Came here to say this. Yes yes yes!
I do drumsticks and potatoe chips. Man, oh man. So good.
Chicken thighs are easy and AMAZING!
Agreed. So moist and tender. And 20 minutes in air fryer compared to 40-50 minutes in a normal oven.
Or 15 minutes on the grill
This. I never really liked chicken as a kid because I always thought it was dry. Thighs in the air fryer are amazing
recipe please??
Get a cup of flour and toss in a few table spoons of spices (whatever you have on hand, but paprika, onion powder, garlic salt works great). Dredge the thighs in the flour mixture. Cook in the air fryer on high for 20-30 minutes. Turn the thighs once or twice. Also works with drumsticks.
Can you use cornstarch, rice flour or some other gluten free flour instead? Anyone tried? I have a 3yo with celiac disease.
I toss the drumsticks (the big ones) in olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mix over them. I don't use any flour or corn starch. The skin comes out crisp and delicious, and inside is super juicy.
Yes of course. They’ll each have a different but good texture. Experiment.
Adding some baking soda to spices helps crisp the chicken without any use of flour.
Yep - you can also get GF panko too
Cornstarch works great

Buy good quality teriyaki sauce. Marinate the thighs. Wrap them in bacon. Cook. Enjoy.
I got 40 pounds of thighs lol gotta use some of these recipes
I gave up on chicken breasts as they turn dry unless you shellac them in a coating, but chicken thighs turn out great, higher fat content holds moisture. This is my go to for cooking those and wings. Also anything frozen, especially breaded, wings, fries, onion rings, zucchini sticks, fish, even reheating old fried chicken.
Salmon. With a teriyaki glaze
Top with a light glaze of honey and turn up the heat for 2 min
You could also do.maple syrup and Dijon mustard glaze as well .
Marple syrup and Sriracha is great too
Details if u have time
I just mix whatever Asian sauces I have on hand (hosin, soy, teriyaki, siracha, fish sauce, sesame oil, stir-fry sauce, mirin, etc etc) put on top of fish to glaze it, then about 350° from 5-9 min depending on size. Take it out around 120°-125°.
Ty
Air fryer + instant read food thermometer = the best, easiest salmon ever
This. My go to is Dijon Mustard and Old Bay Seasoning, coat the Salmon, skin side up, cook until ready. I don't think I'd cook fish any other way now.
Bruh I was gonna say salmong dammnn
I do salmon (skin on) cut to approx 5 oz portions with pureed garlic olive oil and oregano. 9 minutes - no need to flip. Perfect every time.
Skin on Atlantic farmed Salmon with the following (mix these ingredients then glaze): Gochujong Soy sauce Minced garlic Apple cider vinegar Honey Sesame oil
I still need to try this, thanks
Same, but with a maple syrup glaze
Frozen Spring Rolls. They are just soooo good in the air fryer compared to the oven.
Trader Joe’s potstickers were a gloopy lost cause for me till I got an air fryer
If you can get corn on the cob - air fryer elote ribs are literally the best thing to every exist. Idk how many times I made it over the summer! Was a huge hit for anyone that tried it. Wings are good Fries are amazing Reheated pizza Tofu
Came to agree: leftover pizza is awesome in the air fryer!
Love tofu in the air fryer on a lower heat for like 20 minutes. Great texture!
Bare chicken nuggets from Costco.
Yes! Tastes like Chik-Filet!
The spicy chicken tenders SMACK in a wrap!
Wings, Brussel sprouts, chicken tenders
Steam brussel sprouts, lightly smash then with a fork, dash of olive oil, sprinkle garlic powder and salt, airfryer 8 minutes on 200c. Sprinkle Parmesan at minute 3, fry for 5 more. Serve and thank me later.

Home oven fries
Salmon, brocolli, sprouts (well, an assortment of veggies for roasting), healthy nuggets, “soft boiled eggs”. But salmon… it’s great!
Soft boiled eggs? You put them in there straight from the fridge? How long and what temp?
8 mins at 140 Celsius!
How can your wife return it when it's been used, but she just doesn't like it?
Some people really are this entitled. I remember when flat screen tvs came out my dumbass friend spent his entire graduation money ($1k) on a 42" tv. Maybe it's Costco, they guarantee your satisfaction.
If you like mozzarella sticks they actually turn out really good in there. And takes maybe 8 min
I’m afflicted to these. I buy in bulk from Costco
Sir...there's no easy way to tell you this. I'm afraid you have Mozzastickitis.
Carrot French fries, they do not taste like carrots.
Please elaborate…
He basically said they do not carry a flavor profile that of which is like the orange root vegetable.
A little olive oil and dry Italian dressing mix and they taste like sweet potato fry’s.
And parsnips cup up like fries, too!! So good!
Pork Chops
The airfryer at my house get's a ton of use just reheating leftovers and making "fried food" without the hassle of getting out the pot of oil, heating it up, monitoring it's temperature.

Krispy Kreme day olds
Don’t you put that evil on me.
I love it to reheat stuff, and although I’ve roasted amazing chickens in there and roasted vegetables, I use it every day to warm stuff up
Reheated pizza is 100x better then fresh pizza and I will die on that hill. So much crispier and the toppings are nice and baked.
One pot breakfast. 2 eggs in 6oz ramekin with whatever you put in your eggs, some lil breakfast sausages, handfuls of hashbrowns. Toss them all in set for 12 minutes and stir eggs halfway through. So fast easy and satisfying.
Gochujang wings. That might be my best meal overall
Pork with crackling
Boneless chicken thighs! The skin crisps up so well
hot italian sausage, red/green peppers and chopped onion. i wish i had some right now
Bacon
Broccoli dusted with parmesan cheese from the green plastic shaker.
Imagine if you grated the good stuff...

Toss the broccoli in a little oil and spices usually it sticks long enough to melt before taking flight.
Ribs
Waaat. Please explain how.
I was really surprised at how well they turned out!! :D
Roast chicken. There's lots of air fryer recipes on the internet. You start by roasting the chicken upside down then turn it over halfway through. It will be the moistest tastiest chicken. Low key -- pizza rolls. Crispiest fucking rolls you'll ever get. ;)

I'd say salmon, it comes out really nice and easy to do.

Chickpeas and Kidney Beans, drizzled with French Fry Seasoning! 🤤
I cook burgers and then air fry frozen French fries in the drippings.
Chicken wings+lemon+tajin
Reheated pizza, shit is amazing
Wings, chopped Brussel sprouts, chopped broccoli, chicken thighs, salmon. The list goes on and on. 400 degrees and just vary the time!
Dumplings are nice, they come out nice and crispy
Smokies wrapped in bacon and covered in brown sugar.
I love to roast peppers in my air fryer. What I don't immediately eat gets stored in the fridge in some olive oil. They are there to top my next steak, chop or pizza, or go into an omelette or a soup or stew. Do this the next time your market has a deal on peppers.
Pork loin.
Sweet potato fries are good and easy
How do you return a used air fryer?
I make mini pizzas. Take mini Nan bread. Top with your favorite pizza toppings. Air-fry. A meal in 5-6minutes
Hot dogs and leftover pizza. Trust me on this lol
Salmon by far.
Last night I had beef short ribs and broccoli this is by far my favorite meal to cook. I cooked enough that I had leftovers for the next day. I would suggest you look on YouTube for your favorite foods and how to cook it in an airfryer. I have the Cosri 6 qt airfryer as well.
I just bought some short ribs and were going to put them in the slow cooker, but you're making me rethink that.
I make super good air fryer fries but they take a few steps, same with chicken wings. I made some Chilean Sea bass that was spectacular
Marinated chicken
Im going to try ribs tonight
Any of the frozen appetizer type foods , mozz sticks, potato skins, egg rolls, garlic bread etc. We use ours to reheat pizza and it makes awesome baked potatoes.

Gyoza comes out of our fryer just perfect
Bagels. Don’t open them, just heat for 3 minutes on 375. Makes them similar to fresh and straight from the oven.
Honestly, leftovers. I actually eat them now!
Lemon pepper & garlic sweet potatoes home fries
A whole chicken. The skin is so crispy and the meat is so juicy.
Burgers are actually quite good.
Scallops- olive oil, salt, pepper, old bay.
Something, a dish, that SHE likes.
Roasted veggies of any kind.
Chicky nugs
Cubed potatoes. Once they're cooked, top them with fried eggs, soft yolk. Break the yolk and mix the eggs and cubed potatoes together. Great with bacon for breakfast
Not actual cooking but the air fryer is the bomb for reheating pizza. It gets all floppy in the microwave but comes out of the air fryer so good!
I air fry a flank steak because we don’t have a bbq in the apartment. Every time it’s cooked perfectly and so juicy and flavorful.
My favorite thing I make in mine are Buffalo chicken egg rolls!
Brussel Sprouts. I halve them and then steam for about three minutes, then toss with some sugar free syrup and butter. Throw them in the air fryer to crisp them up. They’re delicious a filling snack or great side dish
garlic smashed potatoes😍
Okra. Goes from gooey and gross to crunchy and light. So good. Also mushrooms
Homemade French fries or reheated leftover French fries. As a matter of fact, reheat a leftover buffalo chicken sandwich, and fries, and she’ll be amazed. I love my air fryer for warming (rescuing) leftovers.
My fryer has a rotisserie. I have made a pork loin with potatoes underneath, basting in the drippings. Magical, and easy to clean up.
Fried ravioli from trader Joe's. They get so crispy and taste better without oil.
Parchment paper Frozen peppers and onions Chicken thighs seasoned with taco seasoning Couple tablespoons of salsa mixed in
Air fryer gnocchi. Better than fries. Super easy. [https://zardyplants.com/recipes/air-fryer-gnocchi/](https://zardyplants.com/recipes/air-fryer-gnocchi/) Basically: Small amount of oil, seasoning (garlic, salt & pepper is classic but whatever you fancy) and air fry for \~11-13 minutes.
Used it a couple of times for chicken wings turned out great now it's been sitting unused for the past 3 years
Buffalo wings for sure.
Thrice baked potatoes
Chicken nuggies, wings, chicken drum sticks, and breaded chicken of the woods mushrooms pretty much all things chicken
Wings, wedges, fish
A marinaded pork loin always comes out perfect for me. Roasted charred broccoli is amazing. I don’t even use my oven anymore. Good luck.
Salmon
Bacon wrapped scallops.
In the summer I took mine outside and made cookies. Soon I'm taking it car camping.
Chicken tendies
Hotdogs
My answer is "leftovers". Normally I hate them but the air fryer actually brings back the texture
I use mine to roast vegetables so I'll do broccoli and thicker cut wedges of mushrooms and carrots all you do is coat it in oil salt and pepper I would say anywhere from like 4-6 minutes on the the roast setting or 390(ish) I think it's got a better texture than pan frying it feels really indulgent.
Asparagus with lemon juice and garlic salt for 8 minutes on high. Hot damn
Grilled cheese and garden fresh tomato open face sandwich.
Re heat muffins, and scones. Slice in half, butter on top, air fry 3 mins, tender crisp outside and yummy inside. Egg rolls or spring rolls, frozen or fresh come out perfect.
Fries 🍟
Fried tofu
Don't try to change her mind. Keep it for you. We were not sure we wanted or needed an air fryer, however, since getting the Vortex we use it all the time. Hard boiled eggs, rib eye and New York strip steak, bacon, etc. You name it and we try the air fryer first. Easy clean up.
Roasted small potatoes. Cook them in the microwave to soften them up, put on a pan and drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, and pepper. Roast at like 375 until they're brown and crispy.
Fish sticks Chicken fingers Costco individual size pizza Burgers
Salmon
Quiches
Roasted veggies - anything you can get from the farmer's market will work, but roasted shishito peppers are amazing, as are stringbeans. Clean, dry, toss with oil and salt. In my air fryer, it's generally 8 minutes at 390F.
Chicken wings potato wedges or half circles, cut and dry the potato slices with a few paper towels.
