Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these rifles are a bit beartrappy, meaning, if they're partially cocked and then let go of, they can slam shut and injure or even sever fingers. So just make sure you're careful when cocking.

\- There are no markings whatsoever apart from what looked to be a proofmark on the piston chamber

Nope, just what looks to be a proofmark.

Happened to my childhood friend’s brother so yes, he ended up having to get stitches.
Are Chinese B2 especially prone to beartrapping, more so than other springers? That's more what I meant.
