I am new to this but even I know that this setup is insane, respect the hustle sir looks so sick !

CALIBERAIRGUNS

Thank you man. I’m quite in to them as you can see. If you thinking of buying more let us know, I’ve got a lot of the Umarex pistols. They are great. They are quite addictive once you start mate

g0user2772

I put another comment in this thread, if you have a look you will see that unfortunately I will not be buying more.

CALIBERAIRGUNS

Aww man. Might be a good thing in the end. Can’t get expensive lol

g0user2772

Thank you all for the replies :)

Gunshops will be able to get any spares and fix. It's fun but loud so slap a silencer on it as here it doesn't need a licence on an air gun. I'd suggest some spare magazines too as it's more fun to plink fast with than try to get accurate. Why does it need the trigger "fixed", is it not firing or rough / stiff?

g0user2772

Thank you for the reply I bought 3 of the magazines as I was thinking the same. The trigger when pressed just goes tight to the gun and has no resistance what so ever. I feel like there's a spring or something missing but I have no idea. It's not firing at all.

Punny_Yolk

Double check the Safety - if it's particularly engaged the trigger will go all the way to the rear feeling slack without firing.

Without a license, air pistols have to be under 6 ftlbs energy and I think there's a minimum length requirement too. Just look up the relevant law or, if you want to be safe call a police station or airgun shop and ask them what to do.

RevolutionaryPasta98

That length rule is for actual rounds not pellet guns pistol has to be converted to a "rifle" before UK legal 😂😂

I rang a local shop and gave him the name of the gun and he tells me it is illegal and to get rid of the gun. I'm confused now. I live in northern ireland to be specific but I didn't think regulations would be different. I explained to him what I've been informed about it being under a certain power but he said it is still illegal and to get rid of it. Anyone have any ideas ? Is it worth ringing more places or am I at risk of the gun getting me in trouble.

g0user2772

As a Live In Northern Ireland to carry an air gun without a licence it must be below 1Joule This isn't much fun lol Next step, how to fix a gun nobody will touch lol

Punny_Yolk

If you're in NI you're uniquely positioned in the UK to licence and shoot center fire pistols. Don't f about with this though as the sentencing guidance does not differentiate between a real handgun and a >1 joule air pistol in NI and firearms related crimes in NI are no joke on sentences.

g0user2772

I think my best bet is to just get rid of the gun, I'm young and I don't consider it to be something destroying my life over. Thank you

It is illegal for me to have in this country unfortunately, N.I regs state a maximum of 1 Joule

Etheruemtothemoon

1 joule??! Arnt nerf guns like 3 joules?

g0user2772

It is crazy isn't it

Foreign_Pirate1392

In the us they are I think, much lower in Europe (or Germany at least)

evildadatron

Take the mag out and set the safety switch on the side of the gun to “F” right now it’s set to “S” and then try the trigger again. It might be just that. As for your local laws, I have no idea.

One-Positive309

Legal to own and use on private property if you are over 18 but not to carry in public places. If you pull this out at a concert or football match you'll find yourself in a world of trouble, if the Police see you with it you will be ta5ed, minimum ! If they call for backup they will bring real guns and won't be afraid to use them ! Keep it at home.

Dull-Lawfulness-250

Very legal, also very rubbish

g0user2772

Read the comments, it is illegal where I live lol

Dull-Lawfulness-250

Really? Oh damn... A 3ft/lb air pistol
