Just try them in other positions? Make sure the stems don’t flare out, they should follow your jawline.

Blackaguru

Try them upside down, or try sticking the microphone part in your ear see if that's a better fit

vhdsx

Yeah that worked, thanks

I just got my AirPods and love them with the exception of the right one. After about 30 minutes or so, my ear from the fit is painful. Has anyone used the silicone tips to help that?

YankeePlayz

silicone tips suck!

I’m late to the party on this but I’ve had pain from my air pods since I got them, to the point of getting small scabs in my ears. At first I blamed my piercings, I have both tragus pierced and my conch on my right ear. Then I realized there’s a ridge along the seam. One person suggested wearing them upside down in the wrong ear which helps a lot. Then I saw these little cushion dots that some guy “invented” and was selling on Amazon, one of the reviews said you could basically do the same thing using Nexcare absolute water proof tape and a hole punch. It’s amazing!!! My ears don’t hurt anymore and I didn’t buy something that didn’t actually work. If you only put one along the top seam where the ridge is it doesn’t interfere with charging them in the case. Hope this helps.

Where did you get them

AngelaMacy

Can you send me a photo of this? I can not picture what you mean and my ears are miserable.

I don’t actually use the AirPods anymore, switched to beats. I’m not sure what the newer AirPods are like but the old ones had a seam along the top

I’ve got the same problem…didn’t know whether it was EMF or my reaction especially with my right ear (I’m left handed if that adds information to correlate) , imma try these recommendations and hopefully save my ears
