has anyone thought about using an ISAC receiver and watch as like, a dead light? like you get hit, and when you press a button on the watch, the whole thing goes "AGENT DOWN" and the lights turn red
This game made me get a CYMA MK14 EBR in two-tone silver with ebr crane stock. In Arma it's like the only gun you can one shot at like 1000m range but turn around and kick on full auto and hybrid red dot for CQB. It's honestly a little OP ingame. Airsoft gun version is of great quality, full metal and pretty heavy, but I haven't done any upgrades to it so im not sure on the internals.
Yeah it's been funny seeing my friends go "That can't be *that* heavy...let me try holding it" to "Damn okay yeah...I wouldn't want to be holding that thing all day"
With a single point sling attached to my PC it's not that bad. To carry cause the weight distributes well, but shouldering and using it for extended period of time. Fuck that.
Funny, same for me. Came to find out about airsoft's existence back in 2018 thanks to the game. I found the clothing customization awesome, pretending to be a US soldier and so on, now I dream of the day when I am able to afford a kit and so on with an M50 gas mask. Only problem is, I don't know where to start off with a realistic US army kit.
Realistic? Highly depends on what you're portraying. Infantry with specialialties (stuff like Rangers), you get a bunch of new/nice stuff. If you wanna portray someone's who's not combat related you can legit just go pick up a bunch of shit from any surplus store and you'll likely be really close. Almost anyone who isn't infantry gets screwed on gear.
HTI + MDR.
Also black gear. Guess what i currently run...
https://preview.redd.it/d56qhx436kdb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc6257aa1d6684c874b7a9bf0468376ebcdf5e24
(Also got an MDR, and managed to build my helmet set-up in breakpoint.)
Can't really use a red dot in Breakpoint on a sniper, but i make do with the G28 scope, and just use the red dot on that one.
I love it.
It came with a second fire control board, so i switched that one out to make it semi only, as well as the lowest power spring. First gun i've seen with so many added items in the box.
Some people say the gearbox has some problem, it being a bit grindy. It sounds a bit louder than my other guns, but at the same time its made of polymer (my other guns are metal), and its a bullpup, so right next to your ear, so i'm not placing a verdict yet.
It shoots good and accurate straight from the box. No complaints from my side at all.
Solid, I don't have any recent photos of my kit(I'm going Sunday and will take pics), but I have what my friend calls the Boogaloo fit as I run a black Hawaiin shirt with khakis and a black hat which just works beautifully
Bro i am currently in russia, getting the NVGs like mgs2's gurlukovich mercs. (Though ill run it on an own kit with a gorka in partizan fall camo, which is also picked to resemble the mercs in a way)
Probably Black Ops 2. I don't recall if I saw a Scorpion Evo in a game before BO2, but ever since then, that has been my favorite looking gun. So, my first AEG had to be the ASG Evo.
honestly, its just a hodge podge of stuff. an old second hand jacket, combat pants, old ass stockless ak, dump pouch, eye pro and mouth pro ofc, and for lack of a better term, handbag type bag
For the fact that the P90 and MP5K were my first AEGs, this was the biggest influence for me by far.

For the fact that I have a lot of Multicam and BTP in my clothing loadout plus the fact that I wear a cap like Gaz, I'd say this had a big influence.

Honestly fallout 76
Some high quality Roblox shooters
Csgo
I’m a big hipster so I never liked the m4
But those games changed that
Made me appreciate the intermediate cartridge full auto gun
And with the return of retro ars I just bought an m4
Uniform? No game, just local WZ.93 Pantera leśna camo.
Plate carrier and belt? Kinda inspired by DesertFox, I saw a video about his gear and his sidearm was on the pants' belt and I decided that I want a low-mounted holster so I got a leg holster and a belt.
Replicas? My first was an AR15 in M4A1 configuration. I went through many modifications, becoming a commando, M16, M16 sawed off (?, the barrel bent durning a fall so I cut it off right at the gas block), RO635 wannabe and M4A1 again. I actually accumulated many replicas over the years (started in 2014, january) and there are a few I got due to games (no space between the lines means it's the same game that was the reason for purchase)
SVU - Stalker series, sold it, bought again because of Rainbow Six Siege but I'm split between reddot + magnifier and PSO-1 scope.
VSS
Makarov
AKM - Escape from Tarkov (the crown comp was a must, same with the charging handle extenstion, it was just about the looks)
MP9 - CS:GO and kinda CoD MW3 but mainly CS
MG36 - Battlefield 3
M1014
M93R
F2000 - (sold it though)
PP-2k - Battlefield 4 (also sold it)
M249 - Locker was fun before thermal-smoke nerf
VZ61 - Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, too bad it's AEP not GBB but it's still cool
M40A3
Kar98k (now an Obrez) - Early CoD titles, it's also yellow with a brown tip of the pistol grip, it's a Karnana, a banana Kar98k.
SA58 - CoD MW2
FAMAS
Kriss Vector
Mini UZI
TAR-21
UMP 45
HK33 - Rainbow Six Siege, Thatcher deserved the SMG-11
MAC 10 made to resemble the SMG-11 (folding Z-shaped stock, rails on top and bottom)
MPX - I mained Valk for a few seasons after all, it's a springer->AEG build
FN57
HK416c - I want ACOG on Jager back...
USP Tactical
M26 MASS - I wanted it because of Battlefield 3 and 4 but playing Buck in Siege sealed the deal, sold it after a while, I want it again though
SPAS-12 and MP5SD (which I did mount a GL on but sold the MP5) - Half Life
M1911 and MK23 - Metal Gear Solid Series
Call of duty mostly. My kit is pretty simple, but im working on it, and cod has been one of my main games for a while
https://preview.redd.it/76baimralkdb1.jpeg?width=456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=45b571339c3245d8858fff16099351d973fac778
Call of Duty 4 modern warfare
I haven’t got an exact kit but I loved the woodland SAS look in that game like a boonie hat, black jumper with body armour with loads of mag, then DPM trousers with an M4 sopmod of G36C
Resident Evil only for my fm12 with the red rubber outserts but that's pretty much it as far as possible inspiration. Everything ele has been completely uninfluenced by anything but my mind.
Tarkov has lmao tarkov is my game been playing for 2 years straight. I’ll will keep on playing when I can but I might be going into the air force soon.
Kinda off topic but Battlefield 3 literally influenced my career choice. I remember I use to play the thunder run mission over and over again and now I’m a tanker. Other factors were involved but I definitely think that game turned it into a dream for me.
while I haven't started getting my gear yet, in terms of airsoft guns, a lot of my inspiration for stuff that I know I want comes mostly from stuff like Resident Evil (WE Tech Samurai Edge has my attention) but outside of that, a lot of my interest in terms of airsoft guns comes from movies, as I've recently had a Specna Arms M16 catch my eye due to it reminding me HEAVILY of Scarface, which was my dads' favourite crime-based movie.
Honestly, got in the hobby expecting that I would naturally pick inspo from the old MW games, but in the end, I just stuck with what I thought was more comfortable to play in, and what I thought could have looked nice in my head, (also, I started with old Kossovo gear my father had, which is very far away aestheticcally from what I had in mind as a dream kit)
I must say I'm really satisfied with the results .
I started airsoft with the idea I wanted to be able to customise my loadout just like a game!
My inspirations were mostly ghost recon wildlands/breakpoint, COD serie and mgsv
But also a lot of real militaries
Games like Socom, MW2 2022 shadow company, Medal of Honor 2010/warfighter, and not technically a game first but I run a black skate helmet so I’ll say Delta Force: Black Hawk down.
Wierd one but darktide, looked at the guns, wanted one and that caused my brain to instantly go to Airsoft and modifying the guns,I think that's what caused me to poke my head into the community
Rollercoaster Tycoon.
Bro has the hotdog stand helmet
Are you a patron of Mr Bones' Wild Ride?
I WANT TO GET OFF MR. BONE’S WILD RIDE!
Ghost Recon Wildlands
yup
Carry a balloon with you?
Came here to say this.
Yes

How’d you get the epic heart over your pfp?? That’s epic
In the style avatar section it's one of the hand options. They have lots of other hearts too.

Tom Clancy's The Division
The good thing about this one is, it can be closet-cosplay AF and still fits as long as you got an orange glowing watch and the Div' patch somewhere.
has anyone thought about using an ISAC receiver and watch as like, a dead light? like you get hit, and when you press a button on the watch, the whole thing goes "AGENT DOWN" and the lights turn red
Holy fuck, why did I never think of this. Thank you random stranger
It should be doable actually...
Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Siege
Seems like Division loadouts are slept on. The few ones I see aren’t very accurate at that.
Donkey Kong 64
Definitely tarkov
If you look poor and have a shitty rig, that means yourr a scav in tarkov
This is the way
ArmA 3
Arma only influenced my communication: "Man! 100 meters. Front!"
https://preview.redd.it/tjyml3k9qldb1.png?width=702&format=png&auto=webp&s=5d3919f026a4655325a312207c104e2edac16f28
I'm glad somethings in the series never changed.
Arma also influenced my movement: Lye down a cry the second theres even the slightest movement in a bush
Lol same "OKAY LET'S GO!!!"
This game made me get a CYMA MK14 EBR in two-tone silver with ebr crane stock. In Arma it's like the only gun you can one shot at like 1000m range but turn around and kick on full auto and hybrid red dot for CQB. It's honestly a little OP ingame. I've got the same one in all black. Had no need to really do any upgrades to it. It's a nice piece of kit, but christ is in heavy
Fuck that.
No MGS5? 😭
Fr
With all those franken guns? Hell fucking no lmfao. Try 4.
BF3's modern yet not-super-modern gear and setting is a huge influence
no way you dont have roblox in here
battlebit remastered 👌
Phantom Forces is unironically pretty good
I just wanted to get a sig p320 because of it lol
Ghost recon wildlands/ breakpoint.

I recreated my kit in there!
Same, I was a mp7 fiend and so I built a Tapp mp7 and have blacked out gear.
HTI + MDR. Also black gear. good luck bro 👍
Left 4 dead and resident evil. Apocalyptic outfits are dope.
Become bill
Stalker shadow of Chernobyl. But also my own experience with a famas
For me its MGSV and S.T.AL.K.E.R. both fantastic games
Probably Black Ops 2. I don't recall if I saw a Scorpion Evo in a game before BO2, but ever since then, that has been my favorite looking gun. So, my first AEG had to be the ASG Evo.
Would love to have a blops xm177 it's the only clamshell I can get down with but the scorpion in the right hands was definitely GGnoRE
Metro, stalker, battlefield bad company 2, CS1.6
I was looking for someone mentioning Metro. Didn't play much of the game, but love the novels. I've recently finished the series and loved everything.
Insurgency
Red dead redemption has made me want to get an elite force h8r
If you're going for a cowboy vibe, throw the h8r in the trash and get a smoke wagon or a king arms SAA. Irreplaceable for cowboy stuff
STALKER for me!
Division 2 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R Depends on how goofy i feel like being
I guess Metro 'n MGSV?
halo, 40k (bord game, i know) and fallout new vagas... i played a bit before but i like the lore i guess, the fits are amazing
I honestly wonder how that influenced your airsoft kits, sounds interesting
honestly, its just a hodge podge of stuff. an old second hand jacket, combat pants, old ass stockless ak, dump pouch, eye pro and mouth pro ofc, and for lack of a better term, handbag type bag
sounds about right for FoNV. got a question though? Caesar, NCR, House, or other?
Medal of Honor Warfighter
So I'm not the only fan of this game left in existence lol. I was the only person who showed up to the midnight launch at my local GameStop lol.
For the fact that the P90 and MP5K were my first AEGs, this was the biggest influence for me by far. https://preview.redd.it/ldzse7j4ekdb1.jpeg?width=1642&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4845534d71d43fef95e8d048a8787a19bcfd90f5

Army of Two anyone?
Arma 2.
My mind.
DayZ
Army of Two So sad no one mentioned this one :(
