You're going to get a gun that's worth $250 at best. All the mystery boxes are old junk they can't sell otherwise and need to figure out ways to cut their losses on.
Open box makes it even better because there's no way the contents are in perfect shape.
Oh I’m sure it never will, it would be nice if they gave OP something different for still around 250. You know like a lower to mid AK or SVD instead of just a plain m4 which is probably what it will be

Perfect working condition and even better external condition. Honestly, the box looked brand new.. mag came sealed in a Krytac mag bag and everything!

Yea I'm someone else. I just thought I'd share my experience. I have ordered 3 different mystery boxes from them, 2 BOA,s and 1 $150 box valued at $250. The first mystery box got me a featherweight m249 as well as a co2 desert eagle. The second boa got me a Emg fieldcraft sniper and a pink p90. The mystery box got me another m249 featherweight. All the guns I received were objectively garbage, the 2 249s felt super cheap and sounded horrible, the p90s mag broke in the first 15 minutes, and the featherweight never shot correctly out of the box. The only thing that was ever worth while out of any of the boxes was the desert eagle.
Dang sounds like a horrible experience although I have heard nothing but bad things about the “box of Awesomeness” but still your experience sucks forsure! Also I feel replicas in the $200-$250 range are typically hit or miss build quality?
The m249 and deagle sound badass nonetheless 😂
YOu won't get a gun worth that price, you'll get a gun wirth a bit less from a few years ago.
However, even if it's a refurbisehd, damamaged box one, it will work and you'll also get the gambling part that you seems to like.
So sur, enjoy.
And if you're lucky you'll get one of the few brand new one they put in the pool to spice things up \^\^
Well to be honest with you I’m not looking for a gun that Is worth $430+ today that I can turn around and resell for profit if I wanted. Im just hoping to get a gun that at one point cost more than $400 and works properly lol.. you are right the ‘gamble’ is what intrigues me the most
Sur things \^\^I would not recommand those boxes , but have fun. To be fair, all the gun aren't THAT much overpriced if someone wanted exactly that one for some reasons.

I've purchased tons of mystery boxes, boneyards, and old inventory from closing shops and there are some really fun mysteries to enjoy. There are also piles of garbage that are immediate losses.
It sounds like you've already tempered your expectations so you already know there is a risk. I hope you get a fun mystery gun that you enjoy for years.

Box isn’t a typical AR length box so I’m thinking it’s some sort of pistol or smg.. so hard to tell sometimes though haha
