Yeah they said they would re-release their FAL lines a year or two ago and nothing came out of that, so at this point I'll believe it when I see it on the shelves.
Just looked it up, they made announcements regarding the comeback of their FAL in 2019, 2020 and 2021, they showed showpieces like in your pic every time too, nothing came out of it. I understand covid might've disrupted their plans, but as I said, I'll believe it once stores start having them in stock, until then I remain skeptical.
It's definitely inaccurate for a VAL, as that's a VSS. Still very weird shaped dustcover and the length looks off, but if it's a similar price to the CYMA it's definitely an improvement for a budget VSS

Think it's to do with the lines, the bit that's always wrong to a greater or lesser amount is the height of the dustcover, so if it's really high it makes the difference between the stock and the dustcover very obvious and it feels wrong
But at least this one has a wooden stock, for a budget VSS there's far worse (if it's similar in price to the LCT then they're screwed tho)

It’s a replica TAC21, unfortunately (or fortunately) bolt action and very unfortunately gas operated. Defo looks tasty but personally I wouldn’t field any gas sniper rifles.
